new 90 day...
I'm not so sure about TM30 being required by law if returning to usual place of residence after travel abroad entering on same visa or reentry permit. There were changes made in 2020 as outlined in attached thread. In particular point 2.2 https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/ Seems in recent times a TM47 along with new TM30 is required after travel abroad. However it gets better..... turn up at immigration to do a TM30 and you may be told "not required"

Converting Retirement OA visa to O
The insurance requirement is relatively recent. As posted above ...many folk have killed off their Non O-A. Starting over is not huge task. You have been given advice re options moving forward. Up to you.

Visa run to Laos, always fine? No problem with TDAC
In vast majority of cases it will be back to point of last departure. Anyone thinking that they can fly from eg UK to Thailand and if refused entry can nominate eg Saigon as their preferred next flight are sadly mistaken.

Rejected Non O marriage visa application at CW because "haven't been married long enough".
No. From the OP.... "No, it had nothing to do with the documents. She said they were all in order. Her entire issue was that we have only been married for 3 weeks"

ETA - when is it happening?
They were no longer required at airports. Still required at some land border crossings. No. Nor would reentry permit, TM30, TM47 etc. Here is link for next time. https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home Can be done up to 3 days prior to entry. Regardless you do not have permanent resident status in Thailand. You have a temporary permission of stay.

You can check status here https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login You are given two options. You can check status. When approved there is file to download if you need it.

Transferring visa extension stamp to new Passport - Chaeng Wattana
Haven't seen that Jomtien specific form. Where it states "because" I would be inclined to write passport full.. Or Passport due to expire. Think you will find not really required. Here is link to docs for CW. In reality most not required. Be aware some offices also wanting bank book, photocopies and update. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Transfer-Stamp-to-New-Passport-Form.pdf

Overstay question
Up to 90 days no ban. 14days=7k Seems like poor planning. Border bounce would have been an option. Take overstay lightly at your own peril
-
Overstay question
NO. Have funds in pocket ready to pay fine at airport. For others., if only few days required you can apply for an extension at immigration and that will be rejected and you will be given 7 days to exit Thailand.
-
Overstay question
Overstay nothing to do with bank account. Unusual question. Length of overstay? Fine is 500/day capped at 20k
-
Link for online appointment booking for Hua Hin immigration.
Bank required docs such as "bank letter" "12 months bank statement" Can be obtained prior to day of application. Max 7 days however day prior good option. Some offices require a bank book update on day of application. Small deposit also good idea.

Converting Retirement OA visa to O
To be fair... The Non O-A visa was a fantastic option for many prior to introduction of insurance requirement
-
new 90 day...
The OP (from another thread) was posting and in Thailand in January. Doubt he has a 90 day permission of stay from a ME Non O. In any event he could clarify.

How Can I Tell if I Have a "Non Imm-O Visa" or "Non Imm-O-A Visa"
It would. In any event the OP never had a Non O-A
-
How Can I Tell if I Have a "Non Imm-O Visa" or "Non Imm-O-A Visa"
The OP does not have the passport with original visa stamp. In any event it's clear that he had a Non O and doing extensions based on retirement.

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
@Wongkitlo you have a Non O and have been stamped into Thailand for 90 days (as you stated) Thanks for posting that. This is great news for those looking to obtain a Non O. A process time of not much more than a day is fantastic.

Converting Retirement OA visa to O
You are making simple difficult. You need start over. No agent required. Exit Thailand without reentry permit. From visa exempt entry apply for Non O retirement visa at your immigration office. Subsequently apply for ongoing extensions based on retirement. No insurance requirement Process here... https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/

ETA - when is it happening?
And you were not aware of the TDAC commenced on May 1. You require a wife to fill in simple form (online) BTW: you are not a permanent resident. Rather on annual extensions and you have a temporary permission of stay that you renew annually. In any event not what the OP is asking about.

Visa run to Laos, always fine? No problem with TDAC
That would be me. Not a fan of negative replies to the helpful advice you provided.

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
Any chance of posting entry stamp to Thailand from the e-Visa you obtained in Vientiane

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
As you can see. Few folk surprised the quick process. Here is part of your post earlier. Correspondence indicating approval. ...... "Please print out the attached eVisa Approval Letter and present it along with your passport to the Immigration Officer upon the arrival to The Lao PDR" I'm confused. This is a Non O to Thailand. Why present letter to "officer upon arrival to the Lao PDR". Could you post the stamp you received entering Thailand. Obviously remove any sensitive info.

Transferring visa extension stamp to new Passport - Chaeng Wattana
For stamp transfer at CW be aware that there is new requirement. You must present your bank book to show financial compliance. Photocopy pages back to last extension and do bank book update.

400k deposit timeline questions
Yes. If all else fails re immigration accepting marriage is bona fide then could consider obtaining Non O in eg Vientiane. Here is current thread of Non O issued day after application. https://aseannow.com/topic/1360006-non-o-visa-vientiane-laos/ However thinking you should be able to obtain the Non O at local immigration Which office?
-
400k deposit timeline questions
No. For Non O application the 400k needs to be in bank on day of application. It's the subsequent 12 month extension that requires 2 month seasoning. Once married you can apply for a 60 day extension "to visit wife". Keep in mind to apply for Non O from visa exempt entry you use TM87 and require min of 15 days remaining on permission of stay. Which immigration office? Be aware current thread running where guy recently married applying for Non O told to go away and apply min 2 months after marriage. This is at CW (requirement news to me) Discussed in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1360022-rejected-non-o-marriage-visa-application-at-cw-because-havent-been-married-long-enough/

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
I'm still in shock also However in another current thread @Tod Daniels stated.... "Your best bet is to slog on over to Vientiane or Savannakhet and apply for the 90 day Non-O visa online thru a consulate there, go pay for it in person at the consulate and IF you uploaded the required documentation) the visa will be approved in less than a day after you pay (don't pay any attention to their posted 15 days processing) regular old Non-O, Non-B, Non-ED visas are approved FAST there" Hopefully more reports will be posted in future.
