  1. Cut/paste from ubonjoe... "You can give written permission for somebody to do your 90 day reports. It needs have their name and passport or ID card number on it. My wife does mine but she does not need my permission to do it because she is my wife" Good idea to also write your phone #
  2. Of course. As stated. After entry with a Non O the first step is to open Thai bank account if do not have one Step 2 immediately transfer 800k The thread I posted may have been ongoing extension and not first extension.
  3. Seems you are UK. Means no income letter from embassy. Here is thread Jomtien specific. https://aseannow.com/topic/1324907-65k-monthly-method-for-retirement-visa/ You posted ..." I know it's an extension I've been doing it for nearly 20 years" So exactly what are your concerns. There have been no changes.. Couple of overstay acknowledgement forms that are not new and provided at doc check for signature.
  4. The transfer option can be changed in the future. For now concentrate on the application for the 12 month extension. Many threads on this. Here is one for CW.
  5. Unless you move you will be dealing with CW. They have appointment option which is useful. Also most banks (apart from SCB) along with print/photocopy joints on same level. You need to (at a minimum) provide CW with a TM30 to show address. A lease would be a bonus. Here is link for appointment. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  6. Nothing to do with thread. The OP has zero option of when to transfer. He is applying for 12 month extension.
  7. Just read up on the other required docs for extension. Such as bank letter etc. Which immigration office for extension?
  8. Funds (800k) must be seasoned for 2 months. You entered on a Non O. That provides 90 day permission of stay. In the last 30 days apply for 12 month extension
  9. Repeat. The thread is about nothing. The acknowledgement forms and also the form for wife to sign is a nothing. The doc check folk will hand it to you. You sign it. End of.
  10. Some folk opt for that. A variation is to do extensions retirement however use the income method. Monthly transfers min 65k per month. This avoids necessity to have any money in your Thai bank account. Also has, benefit of zero funds tied up after you pass.
  11. And I transfer ~120k (baht) each month using WISE and takes 5 seconds (from Oz to Thailand)
  12. @Wyabcp some misinformation in this thread. 1. There is no need to show funds from abroad for immigration purposes. (extension) Funds are needed to be shown as international transfers if using income method. You are using money in bank method. 2. You don't need to do smaller transfers. As far as best way to transfer funds, that's discussed extensively in banking forum. You can do your own comparisons using Net. My transfers using WISE from Oz takes seconds.
  13. From Wise advice: "For Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn Bank, and Siam Commercial Bank, the limit is 2,000,000 THB per transfer. However, for other recipient banks, the limit is 49,999 THB."
  14. OP, you can you WISE no problem. Good option. As indicated choose reason "funds for long term stay" Be aware that for extension money in bank account does not need to be shown to have come from abroad. Note to others: Kasikorn and BBL have limit of 2 mill babt per transaction. Better choice of bank imo
  15. Make plans based on visa exempt being 60 days. If changes then a quick tourist e-Visa would have you covered.
  16. The OP was provided the link to this option. Apparently very short on funds. (AKA skint)
  17. Yet you still have not read the replies and provided the information for advice. From my first post.... "Extension of stay based on what. Meaning... Marriage, Retirement etc? Money in bank or income method? Which immigration office?" No information = No helpful advice. Here is how I could start a similar question (thread) "Soon I will apply for 12 month extension based on retirement at CW using money in bank method. Could someone advice on current requirements"
  18. You contact them via Line, WhatsApp, Facebook etc. They advise on payment options. One of which is QR code. Link to that mob: https://friendlythaivisa.com/
  19. Up to you Many folk do not have home printer etc. Waste of time imo. The forms for acknowledgement of overstay basically just require a signature. The other slightly more. You can fill in while io does doc check. Thread is making something out of nothing.
  20. Granted the thread is concerning BBL however reports of some banks not providing this.
  21. Helpful advice however in reality folk can attend immigration and sign provided forms "on the spot" Big deal over nothing.. The wife is in attendance. What's the issue.
