  1. He doesn't need to. He can go to immigration and obtain a non O from the visa exempt entry.
  2. You want a non O based on marriage + a 12 month extension. Regardless of obtaining the non O in Vientiane or at thai immigration office, you will still require 400k in Thai bank account in your name only for 2 months
  3. OP stated.... "I’m planning to go to Vientiane at the end of the year to get my 90-day single-entry spousal visa" He is married to thai it would seem
  4. I don't quite follow. You mention planning to obtain subsequent 12 month extension. For that you require 400k in bank for two months prior to application. Why not just do a border bounce and reenter visa exempt and apply for non O and 2 months later the 12 month extension.
  5. Seems CM do lot more than other offices.. This is what most require. Obviously TM Card not required along with letter from embassy
  6. Several bickering and insulting posts along with replies removed
  7. That's not the norm. For example couple months back had my stamps transfered to new pp at CW. They explained that they could not transfer my multi reentry permit as it was issued at DMK. I was aware of that so no surprise.
  8. Agent is wrong. Which immigration office do you deal with. Stamps should be transferred at office where they were issued. This attached thread has link to form CW and some other offices use. Also list of required docs. Note I mention in one post that at CW if using money in bank method retirement they want updated bank book and photocopies of bank book pages. https://aseannow.com/topic/1331063-transfer-immigration-stamps-to-new-passport-third-passport-while-living-in-los/
  9. OP has started another thread. This one is closed
  10. No. Under consideration period basically means your extension has been approved. Just return to immigration for final stamp. You will not be on overstay
  11. This thread is answered. Thread closed.
  12. It's not required for any procedure with immigration or online reports or TM47 via mail.
  13. Should not have been required. Which immigration office
  14. Existing thread currently running. Thread closed.
  15. Had meeting with Pattaya agent last Friday. Extension retirement 12,500 If provide own financial requirements 8k for extension (expensive) Bank a/c 4,700 over 64. 3700b under 64. Difference is due to insurance cost. 500 of the bank cost is 500 of your own money for ongoing balance. 90 day report 100b If non O retirement required the initial cost close to 23k which includes the 12 month extension.
  16. Exactly. Even some land borders are not doing them. On TM47 and the like applications it's not required.
  17. Correct along with thread off topic just pro/con use of agents. Thread closed.
  18. You should be able to open bank account at Kasikorn with extension from a non O . BBL may also want certificate of residence. Note that COR if obtained at CW requires you to have made a 90 day report.
  19. What is your status in Thailand. Do you have extensive from a non O or ....
  20. At a guess the OP is not after agent for guidance but most likely required to skip the financial requirements. However apart for starting the thread OP has not contributed
  21. I make appointment for annual extension at CW and it's never done in minutes. Most also do the banking requirements eg bank letter etc on day of application lower level. Reentry permit can be obtained at airport. Don't need to waste couple of hours at CW.. You can also do TM47 via mail.
  22. Despite being advised to stick to the topic, the legality of agents always gets kicked around. Have just removed 3 more posts.
