  1. Visas are never transfered. The details of the Visa be it eg Non O or Non O-A etc are noted in first page of new pp. Stamps such as reentry permit etc are entered into new pp. Fresh stamp. The last extension stamp details will also be transferred.
  2. You are asking two basically unrelated questions. The stamp transfer and visa information can be transferred. Does not require pp with original Visa. There is no appointment for that at CW. It will be done at extension L desks. Here is form CW use. The required docs at bottom. Be aware that CW also now require Bank Book with print outs and update. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=939160&key=2e63bc0d8abee18369df31b777516cb4 Re LTR..suggest deal with that separately
  3. OP, correct answer above. Just note that it will be in person when/if you reach your "new" due date.
  4. You are being messed around by rogue office. To obtain a Non O from visa exempt entry the funds do not require seasoning. That's a unique Jomtien load of crock. In any event you still have an issue. The application for the Non O requires 15 days remaining on permission of stay. With a 60 visa, exempt entry +30 day extension that not enough if io insists on 3 months (crazy) As again about 60 extension to visit wife. In hindsight you would have been best to obtain Non O marriage e-Visa from Vientiane. Current thread about that.
  5. Fine. Agent can obtain new extension.
  6. Agent in this instance means anyone eg friend relative or agent. The latter is best option if involves trip to Bangkok or CM. You didn't read the thread. From the OP..... "Current passport expires in 2029. I plan to return to the UK next year" He only has couple of spare pages and wishing to travel to other countries Incorrect. As has been pointed out OP can use an agent if that's best option. Especially if it involves trip to Bangkok.
  7. Extension from that agent is 12,500baht. However what about what Maneerat told you about pp with added pages.... "She told me that the extended passport is actually not a normal passport (even if it looks exactly like one)" Seems agent cannot assist you.
  8. So... a 12 month bank statement from BBL on the spot. Did the bank stamp the statement pages and sign?
  9. Seems that you did not provide a TM30? Lease is often provided/required for extension (not always)
  10. https://pcec.club/CHECKLISTS-Extensions-of-Stay The link above is from "Pattaya city expats" Note: this point.... "Copy of Proof of Residence documents (Rental Agreement, House Book, Company documents if Company owned, etc.) There have been some reports that a current Thai Driving License showing current address has been accepted (address is on reverse side), but will depend on Immigration Officer taking the application. In the case of a rental agreement, they may also want to see copy of Thai owner ID (or non-Thai’s passport identity page) and a copy of owner’s house book for the property. "
  11. Exactly. Any immigration office accepting printed out statements from banking app are just ignorant.
  12. Thinking a dedicated account for immigration is good idea. Especially for money in bank method. That aside I always suggest to basically avoid BBL for the sole reason of the nonsense with obtaining bank statement. Kasikorn (for example) can provide 12 month statement on the spot. They also (same as BBL) are partner bank with WISE. etc Also have the 2mill baht limit.
  13. 30 min. Pathum Thani Just posting for others. Immigration should not accept printed out statements from bank app. So do not rely on that. Obtain the 12 month statement from your bank. Can be done on the spot however does take 20-30mins. Unfortunately for BBL customers you need to order it in advance 3-5 days. Cost for statement 200b
  14. You are bit of an outliner. Most expats in Thailand just visit Vietnam. Regards the OP "news".... Personally don't think attractive visa options to Vietnam would push them (expats) to uproot. As for tourists.... Vietnam already a better option IMO.
  15. As already posted.... Your starting date is March 27, 2024 so that means that 89 days later would be June 24, 2024. Make your TM47 in person 2 weeks prior or up to one week late (avoid late) Suggest you also take a TM30
  16. I'm sure the OP can consider DIY given some of the posts in the thread. Seems 80k usd annual income equates to 50k baht per week. Coincidentally the guy in link I posted earlier used an agent at a cost of 50k. Up to the individual with option he opts for. Seems like chump change for the "wealthy pensioner"
  17. Lost track of where you arer at with agent. If current extension ends mid June you can apply for extension up to 30 days prior at most offices. If agent is obtaining the extension that can be obtained much earlier.
  18. Think you are outlining your plan for your particular situation. That will work however messy IMO. Take example of someone located in Bangkok using Pattaya agent. Most likely stamps issued at Jomtien. Would be best to do quick border bounce and start over. In any event doesn't concern OP,s friend who seems not to have the finances even for an agent.
  19. Which immigration office. So they accepted statement from app. How long did that take
  20. Whoops... Just noticed that he is on tourist visa. That means agent obtains a Non O + 12 month extension. That's going to be ~30k
  21. Some in this thread I posted earlier. https://aseannow.com/topic/1353860-agent-for-renewing-uk-passport-in-bangkok/ Key Visa previously was go to agent as the owner Darren (passed) was a UK guy. Plenty of others
  22. Having used agent to cover financial requirements he cannot switch to DIY. Would require starting over. In any event he doesn't have the 800k. Agent for ~13-15k or go home.
