  1. You will obtain the single entry Non O marriage in Ottawa. When you enter Thailand you will receive a Stamp giving permission of stay of 90 days. Transfer 400k into Thai bank account. In the last 30 days after funds have been in bank for 2 months you apply for a 12 month extension of your permission of stay. Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only? Just for clarity ...you are NOT obtaining a one year Non O, rather you are obtaining a 12 month permission of stay. Referred to as annual extension.
  2. A first hand report rather than random pic would be more helpful.
  3. Simple question answered and current thread running on this topic. Thread closed.
  4. So you're referring to DTV , Workcation category? I would hardly call what you outlined as working as "digital nomad"
  5. 60 days. Extension available 30 days
  6. Indeed he mentioned Wed Thurs. There are slots on Thurs Fri. Currently this. Appointment link https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  7. It's not visa on arrival (that's a different thing) It's a visa exempt entry and currently provides a 60 day stamp. Also a visa outside of Thailand is obtained via e-Visa and that can take few days. Is it the financial requirements that causing the issue for extension from Non O . Just seems your plan rather convoluted. Be aware that if you do exit and reenter you (currently) will receive a 60 day stamp. You can also extend that at immigration by 60 days "to visit wife" 1900b
  8. Why do you want a tourist visa when currently visa exempt is 60 days. What's the thinking behind obtaining a new Non O marriage? Why not just obtain extension+ reentry permit.
  9. Tip. Generally agents use apps such as Line etc for type communication. Good option is call them direct. Here is another suggestion https://thaivisaexpert.com/retirement-visa/ Thai Visa Centre - Visa Agent https://g.co/kgs/zEzHcjY
  10. Why would you wish to receive direct deposits into Thai bank account. Seems you would be opting for first category Workcation (Digital nomad/remote worker/foreign talent/freelancer) Suggest you keep the DTV and any tax obligations separate. Extensive thread on this . Pinned above.
  11. OK...That plan will work and you will be stamped in for 90 days when you enter Thailand prior to April 22. That can also be extended by 60 days to visit wife. You will require a reentry permit for trips abroad after Visa expires (April 22). Ongoing consider annual extensions. You do realize that the 400k can be used after final stamp for annual extension.
  12. OP, I have asked this question earlier. You need to clarify for best advice.
  13. I haven't seen a report of ME Non O from Laos since e-Visa introduced. Also regards HCMC read first post from @Tod Daniels in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1334937-is-a-one-year-multi-entry-marriage-visa-still-available-from-hcmc/#elControls_19129277_menu Thinking your best option in future is to do annual extensions based on retirement. Obviously requires reentry permit for travel abroad.
  14. And yet you posted this 11 months ago..... "Hi all my situation is I'm on visa exempt and only a week left, but I also doing my car registration issues and cert-of residence is last thing I need"
  15. I don't believe so. Sites such as this one from TAT ... Emphasize arrival.. In the short video (good one) ..it does not even mention the departure field. https://www.tatnews.org/2025/04/thailand-digital-arrival-card-system-set-to-launch-on-1-may-2025/#:~:text=Completion of the TDAC will, entering using a Border Pass.
  16. The ME Non O is a visa with a validity of 1 year. You can enter Thailand and will be given 90 day stamp every entry while visa is valid. By exiting Thailand and reenter just prior to expiry of Visa you will be given a 90 day stamp. Once visa (not the stamp) has expired you would need to obtain a reentry permit to exit and reenter Thailand. You have most likely read previously that a ME Non O can provide stay of almost 15 months. That's due to what is outlined above
  17. He obtained an e-Visa (tourist) and entered ~mid Feb. The 60 day stamp will expire April 18. He needs to attend CW for 30 day extension. Is aware of requirements. Asked if anything new. Answer No.
  18. Thinking the hours you posted (3.30pm) is correct. I certainly would not arrive during lunch break as you need to hop onto long line at 1pm to enter. Then also obtain Queue ticket.
  19. Good point. Overlooked that. If the visa expires May 21 ...he could exit/reenter Thailand for another 90 day stamp prior to May 21 May be possible to complete his trip in that time. Obviously would need a reentry permit
  20. To apply for 12 month extension of stay based on marriage you require the 400k in bank for 2 months prior to application. That application will then have an under consideration period (perhaps a month). The funds should remain in the account till final stamp is entered. Depending on immigration office you would/may also have a home visit. The thing with annual extensions based on marriage is that travel during this time can be problematic due to home visit. I did not examine your dates...expiry and planned trip to check if feasible. As mentioned the 60 day extension to visit wife could be used to buy time and push back the extension date application. Plan B: Yes if after your trip you enter Thailand visa exempt you could obtain a Non O marriage at your local immigration office and then obtain 12 month extension. That process is explained here and that thread has links to similar thread. Take note of TM87 form required. https://aseannow.com/topic/1315828-visa-exempt-to-90-day-non-o-spouse-visa-conversion-in-thailand/
  21. Sure thing. As explained you do not have a visa. Also a clear easy statement such as .. "Going to CW for 30 day extension any change to required documents" Would have been clear rather than cryptic OP.
  22. I remember the OP now from this thread: https://aseannow.com/topic/1351622-e-visa-do-you-still-need-to-print-it/ That was also vague. Seems OP entered Thailand with a single entry tourist visa (e-Visa) and that would have given him a 60 day permission of stay stamp. (He has no visa) Seems now wishes to go to CW for 30 day extension. Apart from basic copies of pp immigration most likely require a TM30.
