  1. There are numerous threads regarding return date including CW specific. 30 days is common. Here is just one thread noting variations in under consideration period. https://aseannow.com/topic/1295329-non-imm-o-marriage-extension-under-consideration-stamp/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1349168-under-consideration-2-months/
  2. Don't understand why any drama. Seems that you applied for extension based on marriage. That has an "under consideration period" The immigration officer will stamp a date for you to return for final stamp. Has nothing to do with expiry of current permission of stay. In regards to bankbook to show the 400k in account...... The funds should remain in the account during under consideration period.
  3. You do not need to obtain Non O retirement in UK. In fact you could have obtained a Non O retirement from visa exempt entry to Thailand. Process outlined in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/ Can you satisfy the financial requirements. If not use an agent. As for Savannakhet that is now e-Visa application. I would avoid that.
  4. A non O eg retirement cannot be extended by 30 days. The only extension option is 12 months that does not suit your requirements. The Non O would provide a 90 day stamp then you could do a border bounce for a 60 day visa exempt entry
  5. Well the last time I switched US passports I was asked for the old one at Thai immigration. The OP is living in Thailand on annual extensions from Non O. After he attends immigration for transfer of visa information and any relevant stamps ...eg a reentry permit then for future travel he does not need to travel with both passports.
  6. It's common to date the termination letter to date in future for reason you outline.
  7. Good. BTW: most likely not required at KK however have bank book with you. At CW recently they wanting to check financial compliance when doing stamp transfer. Yes I know just made up rubbish, however forewarned
  8. Here is link to form some immigration offices use. CW being one example . Here is link. At bottom of form you will find list of docs to provide. There is no charge for transfer of visa info and any Stamps. Remember to update new pp # with your bank https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=995063&key=4ad28e64c063398b61d0a726240743c6 Here is very old thread specific to KK. One person mentioned service fee. https://aseannow.com/topic/1057309-new-passport/ Here is more recent thread. Not KK specific however mentions few recent changes such as no embassy letter etc https://aseannow.com/topic/1318879-new-passport-…having-information-transferred/
  9. Your example is very different to the OP. He is not living in the condo. He is asking about a tenant having a guest stay few nights. "What if the tenant decides to accommodate a foreigner friend for a few nights ?"
  10. Explained somewhat in this thread by ubonjoe. If the husband (you) has a Non O retirement. (which is not the case)
  11. Keep an eye on what the OP is asking. First up currently there is no TM6. Also not interested in future "cross check" From the OP....."What if the tenant decides to accommodate a foreigner friend for a few nights ?" Answer: do nothing. Or if OP wants to do a TM30 then go for it. Up to him.
  12. Hopefully someone who has used agent for DTV in Cambodia will post. Prior to Laos going to e-Visa I enquired about "complete package" to Savannakhet with agent. That was the whole 9 yards accom etc etc however approx 100k
  13. The Google search is positive. Where would you be applying for the DTV. Soft option category?
  14. It's still job done. As yet no confirmation on change of visa exempt from 60 back to 30. Even if a night or two required in Laos surely that's not a deal breaker. Where would you be located in Thailand. A bounce to Cambodia with agent minivan run most likely same day bounce. Alternatively obtain a Non O retirement since you have the 800k in bank. Non O-A don't even think a out it. Yes a SETV would work.. Passport country? The Non O e-Visa is sweet in that it would be bullet proof. 90 stamp on arrival. No visit immigration for extension and the border bounce to complete the 5 month plan.
  15. Provide an address to who. TM6 was ended couple of years ago. OP is asking if a TM30 is required after trip abroad returning to ongoing address. Unfortunately it can be inconsistent even at same immigration office. Best off to do a TM30 upon return.
  16. @mankindmatt5 excellent report and of great assistance to others. So to be clear your spose obtained a Non O as your dependent. You mentioned needs to be obtained outside of Thailand. Some folk are incorrect in thinking this can be obtained from visa exempt or tourist visa entry.
  17. Just to be clear.... The link to form I posted is for transfer of information from old pp to new pp. At bottom of the form there is a list of docs required. No on that list is photocopies of bank book pages back to last extension. This is a New requirement at CW. The io also made me go down to level 1 to update bank book. I did that by making a deposit. This is not to be confused with "bank letter". That letter provided by bank (100b) is required for annual extension. It was not required for the transfer of stamps.
  18. I don't follow your thread. How many times previously has "...immigration officer comes knocking at the door.... " By way of example... My partner has few rentals. One eg is a farang teacher. He has various family members on holiday stay with him. Same tenant recently had his gf staying there. She needed a TM30 regarding immigration so my partner did one. In the other example of friends visiting him as tourists and had no need to attend immigration to obtain example an extension, my partner (the owner) did nothing. If you are so concerned then do a TM30 for the tenants guest.
  19. Topic covered extensively in this current thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1356064-thailand-digital-arrival-card-tdac-system-is-online-but-not-announced-as-starting-yet/ Thread closed.
  20. CW uses a form to fill in for transfer. Bottom of form lists required docs. Of course bank book photocopies was not on the list. When I protested (calmly) to senior io rear of L34 she sent me gonna to lower level to do update. My bankbook was not sufficient. For anyone interested in form some offices use for transfer. Here is link https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=995063&key=4ad28e64c063398b61d0a726240743c6
