Discussed in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/ In the OP take note of Para 2.2.... 2.2 After the house holder, owner or possessor of the premise of hotel manager has reported as defined in Article 2.1, the same alien has left the premise and returned for another stay within the valid period, the house holder, owner or possessor of the premise of hotel manager do not need to make another report; The alien as defined in paragraph one shall include those who being granted multiple-visa who leaves and returns to the Kingdom with specified time in the visa, and those with re-entry permit. Previously, most immigration offices in Thailand wanted a new TM30 report within 24 hours every time a person left and reentered the country. This change eliminates that requirement.

Non O Retirement Visa
DrJack54 replied to Highlander61's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Your posts are off topic. The OP asked if transfer of stamps needs to be done immediately. Answer: No. I suggested he should update bank account info. And yes he should. Your LTV and banking habits is of little interest. -

A Tip: get your bank to update passport #. If you are using money in bank the income letter will need to reflect your new pp # That's immigration issue not a bank issue. -
Tourist visa to stay over 30 days ??

You won't sit at Laksi all day and pretty sure appointment is available. In any event far better option than a border bounce from Bangkok. Agents can obtain 30 day extension on your behalf. Thai Visa Centre is one of several. -

Think we should let your experience through to the keeper. I obtained new pp few weeks ago and when I attended Kasikorn bank the very first thing that they insisted upon was to update my bank account details. New pp # -
Tourist visa to stay over 30 days ??

You can obtain a 30 day extension cost 1900b. You would apply at IT Mall Laksi in Bangkok. Current thread outlines application process. https://aseannow.com/topic/1324628-30-day-extension-to-visa-exempt-entry❓/ -
I do TM47 application on android phone. The process no problem . The rejection has been common for me. "Please report to your local immigration office" Mail in has been more bullet proof.

Have a read of this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1143060-non-o-visa-for-father-of-thai-child-after-divorce/ Also for best advice added details. Is current wife agreeable to amicable divorce. Can this be delayed till current extension is due to expire. This situation comes up often and also covered in marriage divorce forum

I have. (CW) Think you should be OK. When you receive back the approved tm47 (hopefully) there will be a notation to do it 15 days prior next time.

30-day Extension to Visa Exempt Entry❓
DrJack54 replied to Skeptic7's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Have you read before this statement "up to the immigration office" No consistency in Thailand. I would suggest try couple of weeks prior to expiry. Which immigration office. How long does the guy wish to stay. -
CM have ignored the change of tm30 rules fron June 2020.

30-day Extension to Visa Exempt Entry❓
DrJack54 replied to Skeptic7's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes. Enter visa exempt and obtain 30 day extension. He could also obtain 60 day extension to visit wife. Very simple process for 30 day extension. He would require a TM30 along with some basic photocopies of pp and TM7 application with photo and 1900b -
I seem to recall post you mention. In any event some folk use fast track in another zone and are processed through passport control then walk back to place I posted above. Suggest you use Zone 2.

End of work permit options
DrJack54 replied to 2long's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP, the process is mentioned by @Caldera earlier....the termination letter is dated in future. Also explained in this cut/paste from ubonjoe in older thread... "Immigration will post date the cancelation to the day on a termination letter from your employer to give you time to leave the country. If not you would be on a overstay when you leave the country." -
Non O Retirement Visa
DrJack54 replied to Highlander61's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP, you can transfer stamps/information any time you want. Yes can leave it till extension renewal. Best idea is to transfer prior to that. Currently I'm traveling with old and new passports as CW would not transfer reentry permit as it was issued DMK. Be aware to update your bank with new pp details. Note: for folk having their stamps transferred at CW they now requure proof of money in bank (if using that method) Caught me out recently and was made to go downstairs to update bankbook and photocopy the pages since last extension. -
The op is not after a certificate of residence. He wants to do 90 day report
-
No, reasons are now given in the rejected email notification Not for my last 3 rejections online application However thanks for update which helps me not. " Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected. Please contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately.
-
Very rarely given. The standard statement is " report to your immigration office"
