  1. Are you really sure that's it's a non O-A visa that you want. If you are looking to retire in Thailand then a non O retirement is better option and no insurance requirements. As for health certificate that is not difficult and is discussed in this thread along with few folk suggesting non O-A is not such an attractive option for some.
  2. For extensions to a non O based on retirement or marriage the funds do not need to shown to come from abroad using money in the bank method. The "show funds came from abroad" is required for a non O retirement application made in Thailand. Note not required for non O marriage application.
  3. Non O multiple entry one year visa. Non O single entry based on retirement or marriage Tourist visa
  4. That was answered in first couple of replies...here is mine post #2.. "Airport visa exempt entries have no limit (in theory) Visa exempt via land entry is two per calendar year." The irrelevance comes from the fact that the 2 visa exempt entries per calendar year via land borders has been clarified. What folk need to be aware of is that while there is no stated limit to visa exempt entries via air there is a risk of refused entry depending on history in/out of Thailand. Your history of week visit every month does not require scrutiny.
  5. That a week spent in Thailand entering for one week per month visa exempt ongoing is completely irrelevant. Enough.
  6. Broken record. Offer assistance to the OP or just do nothing which is better option for you.
  7. No problem. Thinking you may have used agent to obtain extension. That's fine.
  8. Oh dear. You must have done a change of address TM30 in order to obtain extension at another office. Have you actually changed (address) location?
  9. Are you using the new online system. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add Edit: I just noticed that you received reminder so yes you are using new system .
  10. I agree with @mockingbird It's not all that convenient but there are options from Pattaya other than Cambodia. BIt left field but you could even consider flight to Udon Thani and from there minivan from either airport or central plaza to Nong Khai. Just another option.
  11. As you know the rule is 2 land border entries visa exempt per calendar year so you should not have an issue. Where are you located. Have you considered Laos borders? Maybe short break from Thailand rather than a bounce.
  12. Over 90% of folk here that ask about visa exempt entries via air are asking with a history of staying in Thailand not for one week period and followed by time out of Thailand. It's well know that there is no written rule regarding number of visa exempt entries via air. That's a given. It's the time spent in and out of Thailand that starts to cause issues for some. Your personal travel pattern is an outliner.
  13. Whatever "admitted till date" is stamp in pp is your current permission of stay. A reentry permit expiry date will match that current stamp. It will not apply to your 12 month extension.
  14. You need a reentry permit to keep your current permission of stay valid till prior to your extension. So yes a single reentry permit then if required in the future another reentry permit after you obtain your extension .
  15. You mean 30 days remaining on your visa exempt entry. Your not applying for an extension so I cannot see why immigration would not allow you to apply for the non O retirement as soon as you enter Thailand. With a visa exempt exempt entry you use a TM87 form visa application form instead of a TM86 change of visa status form. Perhaps someone will be along that has done the process as you outline. As you would be aware normally you would need to show that the funds (800k) came from abroad however in your case with funds in Thailand for quite some time that should not be an issue.
  16. Not to sure about some of your opening post. You haven't been trapped here. Airports opened several months ago along with land borders. No overstays doesn't mean anything. Also you have a Malaysian pp? Fit (in their mind) someone working in Thailand as you have not exited since 2020. A week out of Thailand in Malaysia in my mind would be minimum. You mention live mainly CM. Thinking border run to Laos better option than re-entering Thailand visa exempt via air.
  17. It's (void stamp) normally issued for repeated applications at same consulate.
  18. The receipt won't have your address on it but it will be in the system. As you are aware Bangkok immigration is bit strange when it comes to issuing of residence certificate. You need to have previously have made a 90 day report with CW to apply for residence certificate. I'm thinking you are best to attend CW for residence certificate with your new TM30. Your current tm47 receipt shows that you report to CW. Having your address updated (change of address) and then apply for residence certificate. 200baht and mailed to your new address within 2 weeks.
  19. I know Phnom Penh can be so so. Sometimes on a second time tourist visa application pp being returned with visa sticker attached and a red Void stamp on it as a gift. Can't recall first time application for tourist visa being rejected at Saigon consulate. Can occur if it's a second one in shortish time frame. Saigon is a small helpful office. By the book but certainly not a place that folk suggest an agent. Application is made am and picked up next day pm. It's very handy to Bui Vien street (tourist walking st) It now requires appointment so forward planning a must. I'm actually going in couple of weeks. Being Oz I needed an eVisa. That was a 3 working day turn around $25usd. The yellow bus #109 is a 20k dong trip (1usd) .
  20. Joining some of the dots I think that your abroad trip end march could be to a place such as Saigon. There you could obtain a tourist visa for reentry to Thailand after March 31. Giving 60+30 day in Thailand with still one land border bounce up your sleeve which would give you 30+30. If you have not been to Vietnam be aware that it's a ripper. Easily spend couple weeks plus there. Saigon in particular easy quick access from airport to district 1 which is also very easy access to Thai consulate for a tourist visa.
