  1. There have been reports of cancel and resubmit being successful. If you end up having to attend CW use the appointment option. It works very well. You need to print out your appointment confirmation email.. At ticket office go to far right side. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131
  2. Very helpful post. Thank you.. There is a big difference for ME Non O marriage. Which is a 5000b visa valid for one year vs single entry non O .
  3. That's good advice for some fields. The drop down menu is the winner. Regarding magnifying glass for autofill... So embarrassed that I did several until was alerted of that option. Another example of learn from forum advice.
  4. This question has been discussed previously. Just ONE simple requirement (in my understanding is flight from home country to Thailand) So many threads along lines of .. "I'm currently in Thailand can I go to nearby country and apply for e-Visa (eg UK citizen) and then enter Thailand. It's a loop hole to very poorly implementation of e-visa. Some folk even inquired about METV that can only be obtained in your pp country. Many folk trying to scam the intention of e-visa to Thailand.
  5. Seriously. Read @Lemsta69 post. Here is part of that ... "You can either go back to France where your French passport gives you the "right of abode" or fly to a nearby country that accepts applications from foreign nonresidents." SInce you are in Korea the best plan is to forget e-Visa and fly to country where you can apply for visa at a Thai consulate. one example would be Saigon as flights might be an option. Having French pp you can visa exempt entry to Vietnam..
  6. The Thai address means nothing. You have a French pp. The word "residency" is being misunderstood. Do you have Permanent Resident status in Thailand. I'm guessing not.
  7. Maybe next visit if you want a year grab a METV and chuck on couple of visa exempt visa entries via land.
  8. I posted this early in your thread.. "Been in Thailand ongoing 17 months. Please update with what happens re Vientiane. I wouldn't do it." OP, you made a good call and imo dodged a bullet.
  9. Indeed looks like this. Folk should not be concerned if the return back date is past the expiry of current permit. Edit: In attached pic ...disregard last line "Thai Entry Permit......"
  10. Just to be clear. Are you obtaining a Multi entry non O marriage visa valid for 12months OR A non O marriage single entry visa? There is thread for ME non O Marriage posted earlier. Here is excellent report for non O marriage. https://aseannow.com/topic/1263040-non-o-visa-run-to-savannakhet-june-2022/ Edit: this thread is also multi entry 12 month visa.
  11. Indeed they do and has been posted several times for various offices. Most recent here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1298009-money-in-bank-for-extension-based-on-marriage-minimum-must-be-kept-there-whilst-under-consideration/?do=findComment&comment=18146776
  12. You will be applying for 12 month extension of stay based on marriage (it's not a visa). You be given a return date for report back to immigration. Can be a month later. Referred to as "under consideration period" Do not interprete that as anything other than final tick off. If using money in bank method you should maintain funds in the bank during this period.
  13. That's correct. After the initial one the data is kept. After the passport entry and (maybe) surname click on the magnifying glass and bingo all filled in.. Even that can have a glitch. I was having no problems up until recently. My report rejected ...."no room number" Sort of strange given that the address was stored and autofill.
  14. When you mention agent along with 15 months... Did the agent cover the financial requirements? Also where was the non O and extension stamps issued. You are using this link right https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add
  15. OP, both you and your friend applied for a non O based on marriage. That visa provides a 90 day stamp however it has an "under consideration period" where paperwork is checked by divisional headquarters and also home visit. You are given a return date and that is to give you stamp that has expiry date 90 days from your application date. But wait there is more.... In the last 30 days of that stamp with 400k having been in bank for 2 months you apply for 12 month extension.
  16. Yes of course along with AU and USA embassies. That does not prevent citizens of those countries using income method. Just requires more evidence. As mentioned in this thread.
  17. You are correct. Sorry. Read through thread. The OP has not contributed at all since starting thread. Yet has time to post in chat threads such as "no grab delivery" etc. I hate these threads. Of course your post is correct. If OP has not already applied for extension it will be granted Either way will cost him 1900b for application. Perhaps a mod will put this thread to an end.
  18. Think you misunderstood the situation. The OP required extra couple of days. Seems has used extension already. In that situation he can apply for extension knowing full well that's not an option and will be denied He would be then given a 7 day "get out of dodge stamp" It's not a 7 day extension
  19. This has come up previously. Example UK citizen in say Vietnam can he apply for SETV e-Visa from UK when they are in (as stated) somewhere like Vietnam. IMO it was a flaw in the e-Visa introduction.
  20. This exact question has been asked previously several times times ending with vague outcomes. Thinking this is one where you need to consult with your immigration office. That can be more difficult for some. I'm in exactly same boat as OP. For years annual extensions based on retirement leaving 800k all year round. At some point I would like to move to income method. Reason is simple. To avoid having funds in Thai bank that my partner (not married) cannot access easily even with Will. I always posted that to "change" maintain the funds in bank up till date of next extension. Start 65k transfers 2 months prior to application. I'm Oz so cannot provide embassy letter. In those previous threads ubonjoe advised that I would need to show 12 months of transfers. And that guy would be right. However still thinking advice from the immigration office you deal with gives clear answer.
  21. The Thai address in pp is irrelevant. You should be asking if you can apply for e-Visa with French pp while currently in Korea. Which type of visa are you after. SETV?
  22. It's jour pattern of staying in Thailand that's the issue especially thinking you can do that with back to back visa exempt entries. Even if doing that by air your plan is one night stay in KL and back next day.. Not anyone's business why folk want the least time possible out of Thailand prior to reentry. Two possibilities would be working or the love thing. Suggest for next period of stay in Thailand have a clear plan and know what period of stay you are after. That can mean combination of METV,SETV, Visa exempt entries along with extensions. The main thing you could also consider is time spent outside of Thailand. Many many wonderful places to visit.
  23. The extension 60 days would start from expiry of current permit. Not from day of application.
  24. Application for a non O retirement in Thailand requires the 800k in the Thai bank account on day of application. That provides 90 day stamp. That gives time to season (2 months) the funds for subsequent 12 month extension.
  25. It's an error. Ignore it. No point in having it fixed.
