  1. You do not need a certificate of residence to apply for a 12 month extension a TM30 should be sufficient at CW. However you need much more than what you list. eg... photocopies of various pages of pp. Proof of financials (800k in Thai bank account seasoned for 2 months) Bank letter. Updated bank book on day of application also make a transaction (small deposit) Map of location of where you live in Bangkok..
  2. Zero worry buddy. You have NO issues. Also chill about changes to current requirements.
  3. Many posts of zero issues. Just for comfort of mind... Have wifi access on your cell. Any silly issues step back from counter and book cheapest onward flight. It does not need to be return flight. Not ideal but will be under 2k baht
  4. Enter visa exempt then apply for extension = 30+ 30. Then apply for another extension and you will be refused and given 7days to exit Thailand. Or Overstay by 3 days = 1500 baht. Or enter visa exempt and take lovely trip out of Thailand and return visa exempt. That equals 30 day Thailand+ 3 day min place like Saigon + 30 day visa exempt from Saigon to Bangkok. Forget SETV that's overkill
  5. Couple of options. Book a "rent a ticket" Example "onwardticket.com" cost approx $12 USD. Buy a throw away ticket to eg Bangkok to Saigon approx 1900b. Book refundable ticket. Worst option.
  6. "Monthly visa " is a term you invented. Folk entering via Visa Waiver from approx 64 countries is referred to as visa exempt entry and gives a 30 day permission of stay stamp. That can be extended by 30 days. 1900baht. "Working Days" is irrelevant.
  7. Correct. Even if directed to doc check after que desk. #1-4. ignore that. walk to L32. You need to show hard copy of appointment confirmation. Arrive at L desk 20 minutes early. without being pushy have your appointment on display.. They not call you up.
  8. It is 2 visa exempt via land borders per calendar year.
  9. The 12 month extension starts from expiry date of current permission of stay Not from date of application. In other words you do not lose days applying early
  10. You are so overly worrying the situation. A late filing of a TM47 so minor. 2000b fine at worst. Personally don't think you will be fined with your EMS postal "evidence" As for changes to requirements for Non O extensions both the financials and insurance just relax. Most of this is down to Big J playing the "look at Me" game. Just chill.
  11. This year I had to obtain one month SETV for Vietnam (eVisa) The online eVisa application was a breeze. 5 business days process time
  12. Exactly. Thanks for detailed answer. Was the exact same question I was asking about. It's not a financial thing. Have already made it perfectly clear to my Oz family that under no circumstances they come to Thailand. As for my Thai partner (10 yr) I don't even want her to be troubled. OP, perfectly understandable plan.
  13. Thanks for update. So it seems that knowing what you know now you could apply successfully next time. It's a pain that the requirements are often not completely clear.
  14. OP, if you enter Thailand visa exempt you will receive 30 day stamp. You can apply for an extension which is also 30days. 1900baht. How long do you wish to visit Thailand?
  15. METV "not honored" would require link to post stating that. Fast tract would not be necessarily helpful. Agents (some) in Thailand (Bangkok) provided assistance in this regard From memory 4k so expensive insurance.
  16. You have been chit chat with someone re SWIFT. The thread has references to WISE. I did one today at midday and yes in Thai bank account in short time. Just for others here is my transfer today as there have been some posts in other threads re time for transfer.
  17. Had another read of your OP. If you have extensions based on retirement and asking question about defacto wife it implies that she has not been to Thailand much? Perhaps suggest you spend time in both Germany and Thailand. There are other visa options for her for extended stay. One example would be METV which could provide up to 9 months stay. More details of your plans would give more advice/suggestions..
  18. OP exactly what visa do you have?
  19. 15+ days at most offices. CM 21 days Think Phuket is 15 business days
  20. Nice reply. Just thinking the Non O-X Would be worst option. Hope you sort out a good plan
  21. No idea what you on about. I use WISE. If I do a transfer using WISE in the early morning from Oz. Then the amount lands my Kasikorn at 2pm. If I do transfer pm then funds land am next day. Your Point? Nonsense post
  22. In my thinking your thread has been a joke. From start to finish. Some folk have posted options. Your options have been outlined h
  23. Have zero understanding of your post. BTW: It is farang.
  24. You can't use a multi entry permit too much. The io was just being a jerk..
