  1. If you return to Thailand with a reentry permit a TM30 is not required unless you are changing address. Which immigration office? OP your wife needs to do TM30 for your guests since they intend to apply for an extension. Do not concern yourself that it wasn't done as soon as they moved in. Do it prior to them applying for extension. 2.2 in this..... https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=689134
  2. Think that's it. I have seen reports where the person has had to explain to the airline staff what their particular stamp means. Some staff for example are confused with elite visa etc. Prior to covid with lot of travel my reentry permit was perhaps few pages back and I had the practice of marking that page for quick access.
  3. Not sure what you mean by marriage visa. You either had a non O marriage or a ME non O or an extension. Apart from the ME you would have had a reentry permit. In any event as you suggest sometimes you run up against this rubbish. I always suggest to have wifi (if possible) and as last resort step away and book throw away flight.
  4. Yes. A non O retirement not a non O-A. Very different animals. The non O retirement only requires the 800k to be in the bank on day of application for the non O. The two month seasoning is for the extension. Sadly Jomtien immigration (rogue) with dracula lady is asking for 2 months prior to applying for the non O. There is current thread running about this issue.
  5. The airline clerk was in the wrong. Someone more senior would have corrected it. It can happen if visa has very short life. I was once asked for onward flight even with visa for Vietnam. The issue was my visa for Vietnam had only 4 days remaining. Don't know why you were asked.
  6. Yes. Upon arrival (return) your 90 day clock starts from your entry date. Entry date is day 1.
  7. Where are you planning on "converting" to a Non O-A A non O-A is obtained in your home country or country where you have permanent residency.
  8. I will choose to not believe it thanks.
  9. Are you really sure that's it's a non O-A visa that you want. If you are looking to retire in Thailand then a non O retirement is better option and no insurance requirements. As for health certificate that is not difficult and is discussed in this thread along with few folk suggesting non O-A is not such an attractive option for some.
  10. For extensions to a non O based on retirement or marriage the funds do not need to shown to come from abroad using money in the bank method. The "show funds came from abroad" is required for a non O retirement application made in Thailand. Note not required for non O marriage application.
  11. Non O multiple entry one year visa. Non O single entry based on retirement or marriage Tourist visa
  12. That was answered in first couple of replies...here is mine post #2.. "Airport visa exempt entries have no limit (in theory) Visa exempt via land entry is two per calendar year." The irrelevance comes from the fact that the 2 visa exempt entries per calendar year via land borders has been clarified. What folk need to be aware of is that while there is no stated limit to visa exempt entries via air there is a risk of refused entry depending on history in/out of Thailand. Your history of week visit every month does not require scrutiny.
  13. That a week spent in Thailand entering for one week per month visa exempt ongoing is completely irrelevant. Enough.
  14. Broken record. Offer assistance to the OP or just do nothing which is better option for you.
  15. No problem. Thinking you may have used agent to obtain extension. That's fine.
  16. Oh dear. You must have done a change of address TM30 in order to obtain extension at another office. Have you actually changed (address) location?
  17. Are you using the new online system. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add Edit: I just noticed that you received reminder so yes you are using new system .
  18. I agree with @mockingbird It's not all that convenient but there are options from Pattaya other than Cambodia. BIt left field but you could even consider flight to Udon Thani and from there minivan from either airport or central plaza to Nong Khai. Just another option.
  19. As you know the rule is 2 land border entries visa exempt per calendar year so you should not have an issue. Where are you located. Have you considered Laos borders? Maybe short break from Thailand rather than a bounce.
  20. Over 90% of folk here that ask about visa exempt entries via air are asking with a history of staying in Thailand not for one week period and followed by time out of Thailand. It's well know that there is no written rule regarding number of visa exempt entries via air. That's a given. It's the time spent in and out of Thailand that starts to cause issues for some. Your personal travel pattern is an outliner.
  21. Whatever "admitted till date" is stamp in pp is your current permission of stay. A reentry permit expiry date will match that current stamp. It will not apply to your 12 month extension.
  22. You need a reentry permit to keep your current permission of stay valid till prior to your extension. So yes a single reentry permit then if required in the future another reentry permit after you obtain your extension .
