  1. Indeed. The OP implies he requires 2. Fact he asks the question re obtaining 2 at same time means he is either unaware on a multi reentry is available for 3800baht or if 2 trips need to be all that's required he can also obtain 2 single reentry permits when required 1000baht a pop. Clearly he is also unaware (imo) that reentry permits are available at airport prior to departure.
  2. OP, are you aware that you can obtain a reentry permit at airport at departure. It takes a few minutes so I don't understand why you would not have time.
  3. Good point. Bottom line is the owner should have better communication with agent and provide required docs as per what my Thai partner had to provide outlined in previous post. Will be interesting what happens when there is issue with dwelling for repairs etc. I suggest anyone looking to rent to avoid owners that are difficult to contact.
  4. The OP will be dealing with CW. Shouldn't have an issue. Hua Hin is another office that was requiring letter from your embassy and would not accept the affidavit. Some USA friends confronted with this paid 5k baht each for this to go away (agent). Plenty of "we do it our way" immigration offices in Thailand.
  5. This won't help much but a similar experience from different angle. As recently as last Saturday my partner (Thai) rented out a townhouse to a farang. She had to provide the agent with her ID and blue book etc so that the agent could organize TM30 for new tenant. Surprised the agent in your case was not able to organize the TM30. Would have been my first question. BTW OP, you refer to "house" how as a foreigner can he own a house.
  6. Not always about few baht. Also the new non O will cost 2000baht. Unless the op is intending to remain overseas for some time, for me it's a no brainer. The OP states ..... "....... spend a few weeks back in the UK and am planning accordingly." Why not obtain the extension prior to brief trip out and purchase reentry permit. Single reentry 1000baht.
  7. Pretty sure in one post mentioned 3 or 4 months longer. A 60 day extension to visit wife and in couple of months time hopefully by then could do border bounce then visa exempt entry + extension or another 60 to visit wife....... Thinking better option than flying to Saigon for another non O marriage and has already mentioned the 12 month extension from non O entry (currently) not high on list.
  8. So, you were able to register on the new online system. Obtain password etc and then it stated pending and subsequent rejection. Any reason given?
  9. Obtain your extension prior to trip back to UK. Don't forget to buy a reentry permit. You can do that at same visit to immigration for your extension.
  10. OP, so yes you have obtained a 30 day extension. You can apply for a covid extension just prior to May 25.
  11. True of 30 day extensions to visa exempt and tourist visa entries. For married folk some have been given covid extensions prior to using extension to visit wife.
  12. If you use the new online system you wouldn't need to do any of that. Also you skipped over travel time return to immigration office. For many that's a big deal.
  13. I find extensions based on retirement similar to a teddy bear picnic. Nothing difficult.
  14. The 60 day extension would start at end of current permission of stay. You may be able to obtain the extension some weeks prior. Most common is couple of weeks. Land borders should not be an issue with visa exempt entry. Maximum 2 per calendar year. Yes Siem Reap is very nice however if your obtaining a visa you will deal with PP.
  15. Not sure I follow. The 60 to visit wife should be a go with some supporting evidence. As for the rest.... I was referring to land border exit reenter. No visa just return visa exempt. Your in Chiang Mai so should by then have an option. After the 2 months to visit wife the insurance and Thai Pass could/should be history. Note: just realized that if you exit Thailand and reenter visa exempt you can obtain another 60 day extension to visit wife
  16. Yes sadly what you state about various immigration offices having their own "set of rules" is true. Damn ridiculous when you think about it. I deal with CW and have never presented a TM30 or 90 report receipt for annual extension and the farcical thing is your office could be opposite.
  17. Take some supporting evidence. Either statement from doctor/hospital. @Sheryl can advise. Your only trying for 60 day extension to visit wife. In another post think you mentioned that you only needed another 3 or so months then leaving Thailand? If that the case just obtain the 60 and hopefully an easy border bounce may be possible by then. With that gives 30 + 30 with visa exempt entry and extension. 4 months in total.
  18. You make it sound that bank statements required for money in bank method and also for income method. I use money in bank method method and have never provided bank statements. An important thing is to have a designated account for immigration purposes. When using an everyday bank account, then yes transactions can be consolidated. Easy to avoid that.
