Irony at its Hight
- Can I re-enter Thailand as visa exempt status after my tourist visa expires?
Initially when I assumed only one setv I would suggest flight Bangkok to Saigon return a take mini holiday. Many countries visa exempt to Vietnam. That still could be option if you could provide letter supporting application for Non B. Irrelevant but never understand why folk what same day reentry to Thailand.- Can I re-enter Thailand as visa exempt status after my tourist visa expires?
That is the entry window. When you enter between those dates you will be stamped in for 60 days. Suggest you look at your current permit stamp.- Can I re-enter Thailand as visa exempt status after my tourist visa expires?
You need visa for Laos. Simple process. You can reenter straight away. Re your 90 day visa have no idea what that is. Where did you obtain it. A non O provides 90 day stamp. A tourist visa 60 days.- Can I extend my retirement visa by 30 days. tm.7 ?
Have NEVER heard of anything remotely similar. The OP mentions "visa" so presumably he is on non O based on retirement or is on 12 month extension. Either way there is zero chance of io giving a 30 day extension. If he had a Thai wife he could obtain 60 day extension to visit wife.- Can I extend my retirement visa by 30 days. tm.7 ?
No. You could do a border run without reentry permit and obtain a 30 day stamp (visa exempt entry) that permit can be extended by 30 days if required- Can I re-enter Thailand as visa exempt status after my tourist visa expires?
You did not mention in the OP that you have had 2 tourist visas and extended each by 30 days. So how many days will have been in Thailand with very little time time out. Personally I would avoid retry via air. You need to exit prior to expiry of your current permit. Upon exit any days remaining on your stamp is gone. From Bangkok you could fly return to Nong Khai. Exit/reenter via friendship bridge.- Driving License Renewal
In Bangkok you will also require a certificate of residence. You can renew your TDL after it's expired. I did a report in Motor forum will see if I can find it. Did mine in March at Chatuchak. Here is a thread that details Certificate of Residence https://aseannow.com/topic/1260361-certificate-of-residence-question/- Can I re-enter Thailand as visa exempt status after my tourist visa expires?
Yes. Assume you are aware that your 60 day permit can be extended by 30 days. Also if you obtain a visa exempt entry that can also be extended by 30 days. Where are you located in Thailand.- divorce yes/no
Showing your true colors. Not surprised in the least. OP, you sound like a controlling kanker. Also pretty foolish to think it's a simple gig to take a Thai to live ongoing in Europe. Not impossible however problematic- How long to get Non-O visa extension (retirement purpose) ?
Yes you will. Here is link for appointment if you elect to take that option. https://gov.immigration1.queueonline.net/appointment/login.html?v27- How long to get Non-O visa extension (retirement purpose) ?
Yes. It's a good idea to make an appointment.. Runs like clockwork and your application is very smooth. Banks are located lower level (SCB does not have branch there) CW are now asking for copy of TM47..- New O visa
I was referring to the "within 24 hours" Many folk make.sure they file a TM30 prior to dealing with immigration.... That random thread was 2019 when imm had the big clap down on TM30. Short lived.- Mukdahan-Savannakhet border crossing / Re-entry Permit available?
OP, why not just obtain reentry permit at your immigration office.- New O visa
Show ONE post where that has occured.. Some folk applying for 30 day extension were fined 800b without TM30 proof. The 24 hr was irrelevant. As- When having received a '7 days to leave the country' permission, would doing a border-run result in a refusal to re-enter Thailand?
She can exit Thailand within the 7 days and reenter on visa exempt or any visa that she obtains.- New O visa
So folk that do it later are fined. Can you provide post of that.- New O visa
There will be no fine regardless of when you register for your TM30. Make sure TM30 is filed prior to dealing with immigration for eg extension . Edit: replied to wrong post. Yes Mon 23 public holiday. Thinking immigration closed.- Help urgent Re eVisa Vietnam.
Thanks for the reply. Don't have any time to try and find out what went wrong. I leave next Wed for Saigon. This evisa I will use to enter has again exactly same 16 day window. Enter date ....Until date. No doubt I will be given same 16 days.. I'm only there for 5 days so not and issue however onto Oz for couple of weeks and back to Saigon. At worst I have lost $50 usd I might use a Vietnam visa company to obtain eVisa for me. Damn shame as the eVisa applied is so easy. Prior to eVisa , Australians had to obtain approval letter and attend visa on arrival desk. Wish they still had that option now!- New O visa
So what type of accommodation did you move into in Bangkok. If renting a condo etc the owner can/should do s TM30 for you and you can ask for screenshot of it being filed- Report CW Bangkok non immigrant O extension retirement
Yes a reentry to Thailand starts the clock.. You can obtain a reentry permit on same visa to immigration for your extension or obtain it at airport.- Tourist visa application - London
Some fields you can skip. The one you mention is one example Since when is non O visa not issued. What was the non O based on previously?- Non-O visa from Trang but live in Chiang Mai
You are close. It's 2 months prior and 3 months after application and not below 400k in other months. Many folk opt to just leave 800k + all year round to avoid slip ups. And YES both methods are checked retrospectively. For cross over ...funds in bank to monthly transfers my understanding is both need to be shown . (Without embassy letter)- Non-O visa from Trang but live in Chiang Mai
I dont see it that way. By way of example.... I have just now obtained current extension retirement using money in bank. I'm thinking of changing to income method. For the next 12 months I will do monthly transfers and ALSO maintain funds in bank. When io looks at my bank statements they will see that I complied with money in bank and should accept monthly transfers for next extension. The requirements are checked retrospectively. Exit Thailand and reenter and obtain new non O then can use your monthly 12 month transfers.- Non-O visa from Trang but live in Chiang Mai
I'm only guessing...seems your agent may have used money in bank for current extension and funds (money in bank) were not maintained for current year. Yes the 12 monthly transfers you can show in bank however immigration will also look at your bank account for meeting money in the bank method. IMO .,With 12 month of transfers you will be able to exit Thailand reenter visa exempt. Obtain a non O retirement and obtain extension using monthly transfers - Can I re-enter Thailand as visa exempt status after my tourist visa expires?
