  1. 10k covid insurance for 30 day cover sufficient. The 23 years is irrelevant.
  2. Your missing the point. My application was rejected because a particular clerk did not accept the fact that my docs were certified by a JP. Even though the web site indicates that JP is acceptable. Still to this day states that.
  3. It's on most threads. There are others. https://tqm-app.com/static/thailandpass/index.html
  4. Interesting definition. One I certainly would not support. BTW my pre covid flights DMK to Saigon were ~ 1200baht. In any event not the point.. And you need to examine Thai immigration rules rather than spurious definitions of tourists. Again Thai can easily take out the guess work and set rules. For some reason they have not.
  5. Don't understand any of that. "Genuine Tourist" love that term. Please provide definition, which I guess will be to do with number of days per year in Thailand. Again no such rule exists. Pre covid with very cheap flights to places such as Saigon it was very easy to exit and obtain tourist visa or reentry visa exempt.. Again since Thailand does not have any limit on visa exempt entry via air, they are opening can of worms. Ridiculous rules for entry. Particularly as I just outlined in previous post.
  6. Most SEA countries do allow ongoing stays. What's the issue. Many folk live in Asia as outlined in my post couple above
  7. It would be very easy for Thailand to construct rules that achieved any set of "outcomes" that they want. The have a rule of max 2 border entries visa exempt per calendar year. They have zero stated limit on visa exempt via air. Why not? Very simple to make a rule. Basically just a stuffed up system leaving far too much to guess work. As for tourist visa to live in a country....prior to covid, I obtained four 3 month multi entry visas to Vietnam every year. Simple, clear cut.
  8. As stated you won't need to show onward flight. With a tourist visa I would be staggered if you had issue to enter Thailand. Pre covid I exited los a lot for years (every month). Only personally seen few guys questioned. From that, my impression is answer with outlined planned itinerary. Sorta like you have set plans even if it's rubbish. My guess was the few I've seen questioned were entering visa exempt.
  9. You have a tourist visa? Onward flight not required for airline. Also not required at Thai passport control on arrival.
  10. Covid insurance is 20k and from May 10k cover. The cover should be 30 days. Approx 650 baht. Links in many current threads
  11. Pre covid obtained multi reentry permit every year for many years. Thanks for the helpful advice.
  12. Obtain reentry permit at airport. Can't see much reason to obtain at immigration unless the office is very convenient to where you live. Request for departure ~ date I understand, the rest not so.
  13. So just to be 100% clear....you have a reentry permit in your passport. This statement is not clear to me... "Just returned LOS on Retirement visa re-entry." You either returned with a valid non O-A or 12 month extension with a reentry permit. If you did not obtain a new visa then you do not require to do TM30, as advised by others.
  14. Thanks for clear report. By copies bank book I'm guessing every page back to date of previous extension. Bank statements not required? With the 90 day report receipt, I'm guessing you volunteered that. Should not be required. You didn't provide lease?
  15. There is a sub forum that deals with everything related to mobile phones and plans. Here is a current thread that will take you that forum. Check out the threads or even start a topic if your question not covered.
  16. You report if you have/will have been in Thailand for 90 consecutive days. If exit prior to 90 you do nothing. When reentry your clock starts again reentry date counting as day 1..
  17. Maneerat on Soi Post Office 13/2 is very popular and is often recommended. KeyVisa has UK manager so that might be option if preferred dealing with English speaker.. There are plenty.
  18. Pretty sure that the tm6 info isn't required with new system. BTW ...my approval took couple of days. I literally am still in shock.
  19. That's sorta the recommendation however many reports of obtaining earlier that 2 weeks prior. 30 days would be pushing it however was obtained close to pervious "cut off" dates.
  20. There are numerous options for agents. Pattaya in particular has numerous ones and good service. Also cheaper than options in Bangkok. Here is a thread that deals with Pattaya.
  21. My mistake at time being very inexperienced was to assume information in website was accurate.
  22. 14 prior and up to due date. Previously up to 7 days before due date. I recently had success using new system after many failures with old online system.
  23. I'm referring to living in Thailand. The non O marriage goes hand in hand with 12 month extentions. For some folk the fact of having to exit Thailand periodically would be a deal breaker. On the other hand some guys can't or don't want to use income or money in bank for annual extensions and the ME marriage 12 month visa is solution for them. In any event out of this chit chat.
  24. Has very different financials. Also very different in other ways. Only gives a 90 day entry (yes that can be extended by 60 to visit wife, then need to exit and reenter. I wasn't aware that it was available in UK. Savannakhet was one popular place to obtain previously. Not aware of currently being issued there. Phnom Penh is only doing single entry non O and not sure about Saigon. Makes it very popular with married guys living in Thailand that don't mind a border run. Would be my visa of choice if married..
  25. It's slightly confusing as your doing the transfer of any stamp immediately prior to obtaining extension. Let's say the transfer was already done. In the new passport on first page they will make details of your non O visa. Any information relating to that visa. You provide photocopy of that. BTW there is a photocopy, print etc stall on lower level near the banks.
