Extension of Stay based on Retirement without any 90 day report done ever
You had a Non O-A. For every annual extension of you "permission of stay" you require insurance. As a result many folk have killed off their Non O-A and subsequently obtained a Non O based on retirement. (no insurance requirement) If someone has a Non O-A and married to a Thai they can obtain extensions based on marriage and no insurance requirement.

Can I get a re-entry permit at Don Muang Airport?
First up I over reacted with my previous post as it didn't take nearly as long I would have imagined. It's just that there were approx 15 and in my many had never seen que like that. It was ALL reentry permits. The overstay desk guy was doing step one and sliding the pp,s to reentry. Interestingly not one had prepared the TM8 and we're paying 200b for io to prepare form. From when I walked into airport I was given boarding card and airside with reentry permit not much over one hour.

2023/24 update How to obtain cert of residency in THAI for motorbike license
You will not be able to obtain a certificate of residence in Bangkok as it requires a 90 day report receipt (TM47)

No Need for 90 day's reporting ?
Which immigration office. Some offices do the 90 day report when someone does an extension. In reality 90 day reports have nothing to do with extensions.

Can I get a re-entry permit at Don Muang Airport?
Warning: for all my banging on about obtaining reentry permit and it's a breeze. It ain't. I'm currently sitting in substantial que at DMK. Advice is to allow lot of extra time. Very few farang in the que.

Delta airlines in USA to Bangkok 90 day stay with 60 day visa
It's unusual for airline to ask for onward ticket if you have a visa. Certainly the case for airlines to request onward flight if flying visa exempt. You clearly are well aware of what to do if refused by airline. Step away from counter and book a "throw away flight'' Obviously you require internet.

Trouble with 6-month passport?
Can be both. Certainly it's more often than not an airline requirement. Thai immigration does not have that as a requirement. Some nearby countries immigration do. Attempting to fly to Thailand with less than 6 months validity the issue will be with the airline at departure.

Can I get a re-entry permit at Don Muang Airport?
Frankly don't understand some threads. After your last post two folk have suggested that check validity of your Non O-A (if indeed that's what you have) . You were online in last hour and contribute nothing. Actually I'm flying to Saigon tomorrow and obtaining multi reentry at DMK. Normally would post a report of experience. But nup ..what's the point.

Extension of stay for retirement monthly income method
Not everyone use Bangkok Bank. Many threads with reports of issues. This thread attached is Bangkok Bank specific. https://aseannow.com/topic/1275217-wise-money-transfer-now-not-showing-as-international-transfer/

Do I have to be out of Thailand for 180 days?
For the number of visits per year you outlined you will have zero issues. As you are aware the visa exempt entry (30 days) can be extended by 30 days.

Extension of stay for retirement monthly income method
It's actually "for long term stay" The last option for "reason for transfer" It does not guarantee will be shown as FTT. I use Kasikorn which is also partner bank with WISE.

Do I have to be out of Thailand for 180 days?
OP, There is no 180 day rule. However as correctly pointed out above , the io may question why you are not using non O with extension and reentry permit. However you mention "2 or 3 times per year" Zero issues with that. Many tourists visit far more often than that each year.

Trouble with 6-month passport?
Speaks volumes. Very foolish from the OP.

One month into 90 days of my first Non O retirement Visa - If I leave before 12 month extension (home to Europe for very ill family member) can I pause?
Good point. I see this now. The OP states the following..... "If I apply for my extension in mid November, will I need to remain here until 4th Dec to get it in my passport" Clearly not aware of the process. He will receive extension on day of application and can also obtain reentry permit on same visit or at airport.
-
Trouble with 6-month passport?
He is 100% not asking about flight. The OP is foolish to plan international travel and have a border line expiry date on pp. As I posted earlier Thailand immigration does not impose the 6 month validity rule however airlines do. Also many nearby countries immigration do have that requirement.

One month into 90 days of my first Non O retirement Visa - If I leave before 12 month extension (home to Europe for very ill family member) can I pause?
Thinking the OP exits prior to window for obtaining 12 month extension. If it was not his first extension he could provide evidence of applying early. He needs to season his funds in bank so guessing applying early is not an option. Re the 21 days that you mention for CM.....that is about applying for Non O. He already has that

So what makes Russians deserving of 90 day visa exemption??
A political thread. Must be a forum for that surely.
-
Trouble with 6-month passport?
OP, Thailand immigration does not have 6 month pp validity rule however many airlines do.

Can I get a re-entry permit at Don Muang Airport?
Do you mean Non O-A. If so is the visa still valid. If the visa is valid it's a multi entry visa..

Please Confirm Visa-Exempt Brit Tourist Plan to extend stay in Thailand
OP, your plan is crazy. If you enter visa exempt obtain a 30 day extension. You mention Vietnam. Excellent option especially if you have visa exempt to Vietnam. After return to Thailand visa exempt obtain another 30 day extension. You did not mention how long you wish to stay in Thailand.
