  1. As posted above. Check spam. I made appointment CW last November and received confirmation instantly. Thinking try another appointment as if you have an confirmed appointment they will ask if you wish to cancel existing and book new
  2. Which immigration office are you referring to with such a generalized post. You would need to file TM30 for change of address and not much more
  3. Which immigration office. Do you really believe that folk on non O extension need to provide rental contract.
  4. You cannot extend a non O by 30 days. Contract for rental is not required for 12 month extension.
  5. Australian embassy for one does not provide that Also the Thai bank account in many threads is connected to pathway to a non O retirement and time is if the essence. Some embassies will require appointment. Also charge fee (not small) Agent approx 3500b short turn around
  6. First up I live Bangkok and have assisted (or tried to) to open bank account for various people. In Bangkok the banks required a residence certificate. Here comes the catch 22. Bangkok immigration will only supply a residence certificate if you have done a 90 day report.. Clearly not possible if on a visa exempt or tourist entry.
  7. Couple of points in your post. "10 years ago..." Also "CM". Your information is well past use by date. Post current experience. . For example Bangkok and others require a residence certificate. etc etc. Thinking the new money laundering laws played a part.
  8. First up you need to obtain reentry permit. You can apply for extension up till 3/9/2923. Best to apply few weeks prior to that date. Obviously you need to satisfy financials and insurance requirements
  9. Ignore that Just write any date or nothing. Same applies for departure date if reentry permit is obtained at immigration.
  10. Clearly you have no idea of requirements to open a Thai bank account with visa exempt or tourist visa entry. Especially in places such as Bangkok.
  11. The office for reentry permit is Zone 2. Past security control and PRIOR to passport control. At BKK they provide service to fill in form , provide photo etc. 200baht. Personally I prefer to have the form already prepared along with photo.
  12. Enter Visa exempt and obtain a 60 day extension to visit Thai wife.. 90 days in total. Need longer obtain 30 day extension to your visa exempt entry + visit wife extension. Total 120 days.
  13. OP, which airport are you departing from? Reentry permit is 1000baht single and 3800 multiple.. The TM8 form requires a photo.
  14. The op obtained a 30 day extension which allowed stay till Jan 19. Why did he require extension? Given current visa exempt provided 45 day stamp. visa exempt entry would have been plenty of time to obtain a non O. Yes requires 15 days remaining on permission of stay and some offices (CM 21 days) . Poor planning
  15. Correct.. Clearly he didn't show much forward planning. 45 days visa exempt entry and now thinks about non O retirement.
  16. You would be applying for a non O visa based on retirement. For that visa you only require 800k in bank on the day you apply. That 90 day stamp gives you time to meet the requirements for 12 month extension. It's NOT a retirement visa (no such thing) You will not need 30 day extension. I assume you have a Thai bank account. If not use agent to open one and transfer 800k asap. Popular option for that is WISE (formally TransferWise)
  17. You do not need to do anything. TM30 in your situation is for change of address or when you return with new visa or visa exempt.
  18. Which immigration office. What type of visa and extension
  19. Correct. I quoted the OP by error
  20. Yes. The screenshot provided by the hotel would need to be same province at immigration office. Does not need to be night prior. Prior to check in ask hotel if they are filing a TM30 and can provide screenshot.
  21. You stated... "I have been living in the same condo for almost 2 years, I did initial TM30 here, but I never knew I was supposed to re-do it after coming back from abroad" Did you enter on new visa or visa exempt then you need file a new TM30. If re-entering on same visa or a reentry permit then no TM30 would be required. By way of example...I'm typing this from Oz on a two week trip home. Back Bangkok in couple of days with reentry permit. Will I do a TM30? Absolutely not. Mainly as it is not required. As for 90 day report. I will do that online 75 days after date of entry to Thailand.
  22. Caught doing what? Travelling throughout Thailand as a tourist. Perhaps on a tourist visa. Please! Time for ignore. Do some research.
  23. Incorrect. Virtually a zillion tourists visit Thailand and none file a TM30. The copy of TM30 being filed by the hotel would be sufficient if attending immigration for example an extension. Read first post from ubonjoe.
  24. Don't even understand why you are doing TM30,s in person. Why are you doing TM30. That is for change of residence. Not for traveling inside Thailand or even from trip abroad unless you enter on new visa or visa exempt
