  1. To my knowledge fines do not appear. Online can be done up till due date (previously 7 days prior) In Bangkok you would attend CW. Added note re the online report link I posted above. Is this what you used. If you have done one previously you do not need to type in address etc. After the name, passport etc.. You hit on the magnifying glass icon and it autofills from previous report.
  2. Assume you are using the new online reporting. Here is Link first for register and second is login if used previously. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login There is no need to fill in address etc. It's autofill from previous report. Regards your current situation you could opt to do the report in person at immigration. That can be done up till 7 days post due date. You can do online reporting 15 days prior. Obviously best to do it early in case there is an issue.
  3. 60 day covid extension ended. Yes Laksi if you entered Thailand visa exempt and staying in Bangkok
  4. Obtain 30 day extension. If you are in Bangkok be aware to apply at Laksi and not CW
  5. What is your current permission of stay based on. Extensions to a non O etc?
  6. So you maintain a minimum balance of 800k all year and you also have income of 65k+ per month for the 12 months. Amazing.
  7. Your post is confusing. The bank letter does not state "I have loads"... It simply verifies that you are the owner of the account and the current balance. Your bank book pages (or statements) so the minimum balance throughout the year.
  8. It's not impossible. Just lot of mucking around. You would need to obtain letter from embassy as alternative to residence certificate. Not all embassies provide that service. For some embassies you need an appointment and that can take time. An agent is an option especially if time is of the essence such as when someone is planning on obtaining a non O. Visa exempt no problem for the agent.
  9. That is incorrect. With a visa or reentry permit the airline will not require an onward flight.
  10. Just arrive visa exempt. That's stamps you in for 45 days. Depending on desired length of stay ...you can obtain a 30 day extension and/or do border bounce for another 45 day visa exempt entry.. Happy days.
  11. All bit irrelevant. The guy you asked stated the following.... "yes i did opened one on 30 June 2022 in BKK, with my yellow book and pink ID...…that was all needed!!" In another post stated..... "What i did was, I called the SCB Call Centre to inform my local branch that I am coming in and that I am on a long term NON O Thai Wife extension,"..... The point is he had a non O marriage extension. In the main ...the threads about opening a bank account relate to those on visa exempt or tourist visa in which case it is not straight forward. With work permit or non O... Opening bank account is not huge hurdle.
  12. This will sound pedantic but it's not. No such thing as retirement visa and marriage visa etc. You are asking about annual extensions to the following. Non O based on marriage and retirement there is no insurance requirements for extensions. An extension from a non O-A based on marriage there is no requirement for insurance. An extension from a non O-A based on retirement requires insurance.
  13. OP, here is your thread from Sat. For comprehensive advice I think a clear outline of your plans would be a good idea. Then you receive best advice that suits your needs. Extensions to a non O will require bank account and you mention that you don't have one, however you can open account with a non O. Also you mention use of agents as an option.
  14. With a visa or reentry permit no question from airline at departure to have onward flight. However if you read threads discussing "onward flights" there are easy options. Google "onwardflight.com". Also you can buy throw away ticket on the spot if any issue at check-in. Cheapest ~ 1500baht.
  15. You can obtain eVisa SETV in UK that will give you a 60 day stamp upon entry into Thailand and can be extended by 30 days. May not be so popular currently as visa exempt entry gives a stamp of 45 days. That also can be extended by 30 days.
  16. Agent: Siam Legal or ThaiVisaCenter or Bangkok Buddy etc. Cost approx 3k. As mentioned several times in this thread, Bangkok has added difficulties compared to some other provinces. Without a work permit or a non O visa most banks will require a residence certificate from immigration or letter from embassy. In Bangkok to obtain a residence certificate you need to be filing 90 day reports Obviously not done by visa exempt and tourist visa holders.
  17. Guess I will find out October 19. Been in Thailand same address for 10 years. Never have done a TM30. Will be disappointing if this is a new requirement.
  18. Strange. I have never provided copy of TM30 or 90 day report for extensions retirement at CW. Have appointment for my next one on October 19. That will be interesting as don't plan to submit either.
  19. There is a post in this thread that showing bank account when receiving final stamp was not required. Also I cannot recall a post ever outlining any repercussions other than a warning. Having said that.... immigration officers do sometimes request it so bottom line....why would anyone risk it being an issue. Leave the money untouched untill you have final stamp.
  20. The 35k was economy. I wouldn't know Business class. Flying to from Melbourne, Oz it's a 9 hour direct flight. Just checked my current flight coming up. 7,500baht return direct. One thing the Oz folk have over the UK and even moreso USA guys. Flights so easy with low cost airline such as Jetstar. Edit: the above fare is book when airline has their Sales. For folk not retired I imagine the travel dates are far more restrictive.
  21. According to Skyscanner (that has options to look at recent flights UK to BKK) Approx 35k one way direct. Sounds very expensive.
  22. Yes he did. I give up.... I stated "read MY earlier posts they did not mention non O"... Meaning I suggested visa exempt + extension then wash and repeat with border bounce. My suggestion later regarding he could have a 5 month stay without obtaining extension to a non O was just to point out your error. Done.
  23. Read my earlier posts. They did not mention obtaining a non O. BTW it would only be two visits to immigration for 30 day extension+ non O. The onward flight "get around" is very simple and options discussed often. You stated that the only option without exiting Thailand was to obtain annual extensions to a non O. I simply pointed out that is incorrect Which it is. Your words...... "This is the only way you could stay for 4-5 months continuously each year without having to leave Thailand"
  24. What? .....you suggested this.. "which would then allow you to apply for a 1-year extension of stay." He can obtain a non O retirement in Thailand with no intention of obtaining annual extension
  25. I notice post from ubonjoe pointing out that they were issued in the past. Presumably you are now on annual extensions based on retirement with the normal financial requirements.
