  1. @Andrew Dwyer post above from Tod confirms the info that sent you in pm earlier.
  2. Stop woffle and address the OP question.
  3. They did say it was "temporary" and only suspended at airports to speed up immigration control upon entry. Many of us shake our heads. For expats they have our 90 day reports confirming address. As for most tourists they move around a lot and an arrival card seems foolish. Hopefully 90 day reports will one day be eliminated. Serves zero purpose.
  4. As you point out ...every immigration is different. I think some offices (eg yours) do it as a favor. IMO the 90 report has nothing to do with extensions and especially now with the improved online system the immigration office should just deal with the extension.
  5. Your first 12 month extension starts your 90 day count.
  6. The OP is already in Thailand and intending to obtain a non O in Thailand. No insurance required.
  7. There is no space for TM6 on the new online form
  8. Damn ridiculous imo. Of course that can be all cancelled as soon as visa issued.
  9. Read reports of occuring at Nong Khai friendship bridge. One option to avoid long van/bus trips would be fly Bangkok to Udon Thani return. Minivan from airport to Nong Khai over bridge and straight back. That's possible. BTW it's a border bounce. A visa run means obtaining a visa and that's an overnight option at the very least.
  10. There is however very rarely would that be requested and even then in a situation of repeated consecutive entries visa exempt and the immigration officer looking for reason to refuse entry. The OP,s daughter won't have an issue.
  11. OP, where are you currently located? Shortly after covid restrictions eased some reports of obtaining visas in PP with success. In the past known as a place where using agent is common. Did you consider other countries. For a tourist visa my pick would be Vientiane or Saigon. Note both required an appointment now.
  12. How rude. Perhaps the OP is not native English speaker. Also my reading of the OP is that his daughter is coming for a 4 week visit. Apart from that your unhelpful reply had already been well covered.
  13. Last month entry.
  14. 1. No 2. No. However you would need to obtain a reentry permit to keep your 90 day stamp permission of stay valid.
  15. If I had a child in local kindergarten/primary school, I wouldn't be happy having some random farang helping the kiddies.
  16. In that case no problem. BTW visa exempt entry currently give a 45 day stamp.
  17. It varies for different offices. The letter can be up to 7 days pre application but as this attached thread shows ....many offices require the letter to be on the same day as application,..
  18. I asked previously re if daughter actually has a tourist visa. Some folk refer to "tourist visa" upon entry when they actually mean entering on visa waiver. You mention 30 day visit. Why would she bother with a tourist visa when visa exempt entry is available. The point is if flying visa exempt she may require onward flight by airline at departure.
  19. The thread is about CW. Yes you are correct all immigration offices are different. The rest of my post suggested day or two prior is best option if cannot be done on day of application.
  20. Try doing a withdrawal and get back to us.
  21. It's well know that up till 7 days is accepted. Granted most folk recommend obtaining the letter a day or two earlier if location of bank and immigration office warrants that.
  22. The letter is accepted up till 7 days prior as already pointed out by another poster. All irrelevant as this thread the OP specifically asked about CW and I have outlined best process for that office. Namely obtain letter and make deposit into account to show activity and update on day of application. Give it a rest.
