  1. Thinking will be waste of time. Keep eye on reports in this forum. Hopefully will be sorted. There are one month roster guys using visa exempt entries. You only need 30 days per entry to Thailand. Should be a stop gap option..
  2. Discussed here https://aseannow.com/topic/1313090-re-entry-permit-during-visa-under-consideration-period/
  3. Understandable. I do my reports via mail (CW) and so far pretty much bullet proof.
  4. Have you considered 90 report via mail. A TM30 should not be required.
  5. Your suggestion re agent is very valid. The guy lives in Pattaya so suggest he drop into Maneerat Soi 13/2 or one of the many other agents to explain his situation. If the guy can at some point have couple of months continuous in Thailand (holidays?) then a non O with 12 month extension and reentry permit his best option. However even that has issue as Jomitien were requiring 2 months of seasoning for the 400k. (not correct rule but it's Jomitien)
  6. Don't follow. The guy is only in Thailand for a month then out for a month. During the under consideration period there may be a home visit.
  7. He was meaning a ME Non O visa. Has validity of one year allowing entries that grant 90 day permit
  8. As per above reply....thinking the appointment system at Savannakhet will hopefully have the bugs ironed out. Here is thread (march) that is a report of ME Non O marriage. https://aseannow.com/topic/1321369-1-year-multiple-entry-based-on-marriage-savannakhet-feb-28th-2024-report/
  9. It's a big problem for some folk. One example is current thread where the guy is on typical oil/gas type roster These guys ideal visa is ME Non O. Most obtained these at Savannakhet. If the appointment system cannot be improved that's an issue. Saigon appointments also well in advance (my understanding)
  10. You mean the law that was changed June 2020 Read para 2.2 https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/
  11. Thinking that would not be required for extensions based on marriage. Have never read a report of anyone being refused extension for not maintaining the 400k during the under consideration period. So can't imagine why immigration would wish to see bank account. My guess is it's directed to extensions based on retirement. Perhaps issue for those using agent. I did politely protest. The form CW use for stamps transfer has list of requirements on page 2. Bank Book photocopies is not listed. The io would not tell me why (never previously required) they wanted them. Also made me go downstairs to banks to update bank account..
  12. Yes no problem. For others: be aware that at CW, when you go there to transfer stamps etc to new pp they require you provide bank book and update and photocopies if using money in bank for extension (retirement).
  13. Have zero idea what you mean. When Vientiane introduced appointments similar problem arose. Reports in future will hopefully give direction. Many folk use ME non O from Savannakhet so this is an issue..
  14. The rules are clear. The OP misunderstood the requirements. No he is not. Stating that retrospective check on financials dates back to date of application for extension. In fact some offices even want to see the 2 month bank record prior to date of current extension.
  15. You cherry picked one unrelated comment from OP. Then "crazy requirements" Stick to OP
  16. First up the guy I replied to is not the OP. Secondly in previous post from him earlier he is from UK.. His "visa on arrival" is just incorrect term. He meant visa exempt. Try to offer advice to OP.
  17. 1. Yes 2.Yes and not difficult 3. Non O obtained in Thailand gives 90 day permission of stay. If you wish to enter visa exempt and obtain a non O (retirement) The process is outlined in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/
  18. If the funds have been in Thai bank account in your name only for "some time" then proof funds came from abroad should not be required.
  19. The hotel would give him copy of screenshot of TM30 if he asked. Doesn't need AseanNow Clearly the guy didn't even do simple Google search of requirements for 30 day extension. Then blame immigration office
  20. You complain about your troubles with immigration is couple of threads and now this. It's plastered almost daily on AseanNow that a TM30 is required for 30 day extension.. The guy you referred to was not prepared.
