  1. Did you even read the posts. The title is misleading. It's nothing to do with taxation. The OP is concerned that even with embassy letter that immigration office can/may require 12 month of bank statements for income method for annual extensions
  2. Compliance can easily be checked with looking at bankbook pages. When I discussed it with the main io at extension desks as to why they couldn't reply on the bank book the reason given was that in one month there was no activity in my account. Nonsense reason especially given that it was all fine for 10 extensions. Just typical immigration rubbish
  3. Can confirm that some offices want to see the monthly transfers even with embassy letter..
  4. What you are inquiring about is not tax related. Seems some offices have started to require 12 month bank statements. Think you will find BBL takes 7 days. Other banks on the spot. I have done all my extensions at CW and for the last 2 immigration want me to provide 12 month statement (funds in bank method retirement). Prior to that bankbook pages photocopies were sufficient
  5. No. Have never done a TM30 in 12 yrs dealing with CW. I exit Thailand often.
  6. What "transfer the stamp" are you referring. The io should not have required a TM30 or TM47
  7. Check out this attached thread. Think it takes 5 days now. Not sure. https://aseannow.com/topic/713652-good-agent-in-phnom-penh-for-thailand-tourist-visa/
  8. Where did you obtain your reentry permit. If not at CW then they will not transfer it. Common example is the folks that obtain reentry permit at airport. Not an issue...just travel with both passports
  9. Agree.. Been stated couple of times. I would even go one step further and use a new bank book or even new account. Of course his other option is to use an agent. At 80 yrs of age seems sensible option to me. Have agent do annual extensions, 90 reports etc
  10. Yes that's correct. He should have done one visa exempt entry followed by tourist visa leaving another visa exempt entry via land "up his sleeve" Now in bad situation
  11. Why did OP require new TM30. He returned to same address
  12. Does your immigration office accept 90 day reports via mail? If a yes TM30 should not be required
  13. Why did you go to immigration office " to stamp my passport as I did 3 years ago" ? Which immigration office. I'm going to Saigon upcoming weekend and when I return with reentry permit I will not be doing anything with immigration. TM30 etc
  14. Don't understand your post. The rule for visa exempt via land is max 2 per calendar year. The OP has already used two. Regarding obtaining a tourist visa.,.. now Savannakhet and Vientiane and HCMC require an appointment. Not straight forward apparently.
  15. No. All the current issues with TM30 required have to do with online 90 day reporting since online was "upgraded". Seems to be sync issue. Few threads running on this.
  16. Seems you have been continuous in Thailand using 2 border bounce + 30 day extension to each = 4months To exit and reenter again I would obtain a tourist visa.
  17. OP experience acknowledged. Good luck with next visa exempt entry. Thread closed
  18. You state that you read AseanNow often. Why would you not obtain 30 day extension for each visa exempt entry. 1900b. @Pattaya57 pointed this out. Extensions are very simple. You stated 6 visa exempt all via air and back to back minimal days outside of Thailand. Was this entry first time you were questioned by airport immigration? I don't buy it.
  19. Thinking now this thread a wind up. OP just joined and some posts from OP strange to say the least. Straight forward 30 day extension (1900b) vs flight out and back with accom. Not yet used land border bounce.. Yep sure. This thread does not have much more to assist forum..
  20. Good luck with that. Visa exempt entry only 2 days out with your stated history very likely denied entry. That involves pain.
  21. Your travel to Thailand falls into unique pattern class. The people that end up with issues are using the 30 in full + 30 extension (most common pattern) Then wash and repeat in some cases same day bounce.
  22. No. The issue for the OP is ongoing back to back visa exempt entry to live in Thailand. Even if visa exempt changes to 60 days that would not change his situation. Most likely has already used the 2 visa exempt entries at land border for this calendar year. That would mean next VE would be via air and quite possibly denied entry.. The guy needs a visa.
  23. There is zero chance immigration would overlook this. In another post he stated...... " Only has one bank account, we had 800 there then dipped to under 700, right now it is at 600. We are transferring now in segments" This situation very different to many previous threads where eg someone used wrong card or whatever and the error was fixed in very short time frame. OP father has zero chance of next extension at his immigration office imo. His options already posted..
  24. If you wait till next extension is due then just do a border run enter with visa exempt. You can obtain a non O at your immigration office. https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/
