  1. New in my book. Name an agent in Bangkok that can do that.. If it's as you state then why ask. Just trot off to agent and obtain the 5 yr TDL..
  2. Agents don't do anything to obtain TDL. More a hand holding exercise..
  3. What is status in Thailand. On extensions or....? Your account does not make sense. Read attached thread. You require a Non O to obtain a 5 yr TDL. With visa exempt (tourist) status you would receive a 2 yr licience. Also you can apply for a 5 yr TDL up to 2 months early. OP disregard this posters account.
  4. First up 800k seasoned for 2 months prior to application for extension is not a "Jomitien thing". All offices require that. So without an agent likely that your application would be rejected. For your next extension you may have an issue (unlikely) as immigration can and often do look at the bank book back to before last application. Your bank book would show non compliance. BTW: how much was the "dip below" and do you have another bank account.
  5. Don't follow. If OP has a Non O he only requires 400k in bank for 2 months prior to obtaining extension. From the OP ...... "I want to enter on a visa exempt (for a few days), leave Thailand (for a further month), then enter on my Non-Imm O and trigger the 90 days." Fact is when he reenters Thailand he would still have almost 2 months left on permission of stay. He can transfer the 400k even prior to first entry. With your suggestion he will also need onward flight for his second visa exempt entry via air. In addition requires multiple visits to immigration. Not best option. Lot of mucking around with zero benefit.
  6. Some immigration offices do. @chickenslegs in current thread..... "Separate bank letter listing each of the monthly foreign transfers, Proof of where the money came from. I produced a letter from my pension provider, showing the monthly and annual amount - this was accepted" And we turn blind eye. No such animal as a "Retirement Visa" Pension is irrelevant. As I posted earlier the Non O has requirement of being over 50. Not necessarily retired. If using money in bank the funds do not need to be shown from abroad.
  7. The OP has thread running regarding income method and seems has been using that method previously for extensions. Not about to play guess work re now asking about money in bank method. And he would be (technically) incorrect. He is obtaining an extension based on being over 50. Retirement has nothing to do with it. Not working in Thailand is one condition. However we all short hand refer to extension retirement..
  8. No. Some offices now require a TM30. Some seem to be leaning towards requiring 12 month bank statement where previously bank book with photocopies was sufficient. As mentioned above...if you are changing from income method to money in the bank you should state that.
  9. Expats living in Thailand on extensions from Non O have zero issues apart from meeting the requirements. By obtaining multi reentry permit they can travel internationally and return to Thailand with zero issues. They do not need to even exit Thailand. They can live ongoing. You bring in off topic comparison to living in Thailand visa exempt. That will become very problematic quickly using trips out of Thailand and return via air to obtain visa exempt stamp. In addition we are seeing changes in border runs. Finally the 60 day is a recent innovation. Could change back to 30. The OP asked about ongoing living in Thailand with extensions from Non O. Not asking about other nonsense.
  10. 800k in Thai bank account in your name only for 2 months prior to application for extension and maintained for 3 months after application and not below 400k in other months Naturally immigration check retrospectively back to previous extension to check compliance OP, your other current thread indicates using income method. If changing from income to money in bank method that should be made clear.
  11. Thanks for that. Had read that somewhere previously. This is first year I'm switching to income method from funds in bank method. Extension not till Oct so will check with Kbank options to show as international transfers.
  12. Do whatever you want. Others will continue to obtain 12 bank statement even if that's few days prior to application.
  13. Yes FTT is a BBL code. Folk need to check with their bank after obtaining their 12 month bank statement. If any monthly transfer (for income method) is not shown as from abroad then they will require credit advice. I use Kasikorn. I fully expect some of my WISE transfers would be sent to BBL then as a Thai bank to bank transfer to my Kasikorn a/c
  14. That's not what they want. So leave it there.
  15. OP, since you can obtain a reentry permit to protect your 90 days..... Best option is to enter Thailand with the eVisa and obtain a single reentry permit. Go on the one month trip and upon return to Thailand organize date for the 12 month extension. Keep in mind the extension can be applied for up till expiry of the 90 day stamp.
  16. You typing about ~5 day shortfall? That's no problem. BTW it's only BBL that requires 5 days to provide bank statement. Other banks it's on the spot..
  17. What relevant docs could embassy possibly supply. UK embassy no longer provides income letter.
  18. Searched around various countries eVisa Non O. Here is one on Vienna eVisa site.... "2.1 O Visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Travellers must enter Thailand within the said 90-day period. They will be allowed to stay in Thailand for a period of up to 90 days, counting from the date of entry. During the 90-day period of stay, if they wish to leave and re-enter Thailand, they are required to apply for a re-entry permit (single or multiple) before departure. If they leave Thailand without a re-entry permit, the current stay permit shall be considered void."
  19. OP, first up the issue of obtaining a reentry permit for the 90 day stamp. @scoutman360 asked this in a thread may 2024. His report .... "For those interested, today I got my re-entry permit at CW in Bangkok under a 90 day Non-O for retirement. No questions, no issues. I had a booked appointment and was in and out in 15 minutes. Thanks for all your help!" However note in same thread a guy asked same question at CM and was told clearly...NO..cannot obtain a Reentry Permit to protect the 90 days. My understanding is that you can. OP, in the month you are out of Thailand where will you be? Ask as you could obtain a Non O eVisa during the month outside of Thailand. OP, exact same question asked in this thread.... https://aseannow.com/topic/1324898-i-got-a-non-o-single-visa-but-i-would-like-to-enter-into-visa-exempt-use-the-visa-later/
  20. Online work has been "tolerated for years" Not allowed is income from Thai customers. You stated "a lot of retirees" Nup. Vast majority are not working on Non O
  21. Many off topic posts removed. Actually should be lot more removed. Stick to thread.
