First up good reply. Now to your first Non O-A in 2917. That visa would have been applied for in home country. There is not proof regarding funds in Thai bank. In fact the funds can be in home country bank. As I stated earlier the funds using money in bank method for extensions does not require proof of where funds came from. By way of contrast...if someone obtains a Non O in Thailand from visa exempt or tourist visa entry then the 800k needs to be shown to have come from abroad. You had a harsh deal at your immigration office as most offices given your application for Non O would have accepted that the funds had been in Thailand "for some time" A matter of several months would be sufficient. Also no way a new bank account should have been required.

Don't know why you thought the io was in the wrong (she wasn't) You were obtaining a new visa. Namely Non O retirement and for that you need to show funds came from abroad. Note for ongoing 12 month extension the funds do not need to be shown to come from abroad using money in bank method. Yes but understand you are converting nothing. You killed off your Non O-A and from visa exempt entry obtained a Non O. Nothing to do with your previous Non O-A.

The requirement is 65k (minimum) per month. Immigration will not be flexible on this. Transfer added amounts from other funds in home country to keep above the 65k

If your flight from France is not direct that would be good. You could consider a SETV eVisa. Not sure of cost currently. IMO my guess is that you would not be denied entry at BKK. Perhaps questioned about itinerary so be able to show some accommodation etc Flight out within 60 etc

Seems that you obtained a NON O-A Visa. That visa is valid for one year and is multiple entry. It also requires insurance. Obtained only in home country or country where you have Permanent Resident status. This thread is not about Non O-A. The OP is trying to obtain a Non O single entry. I don't know why as he can enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain a Non O at local immigration office. There is also a Multiple entry Non O which is no longer available.

Very rare that immigration would want to see cash. With a visa it wouldn't happen. Bank application etc is useless. Again with a visa this would not be required. Visa exempt the airline at departure may require onward flight. Unlikely immigration on arrival would ask to see onward flight You are asking about METV vs Visa Exempt. Suggest decide on one option and limit your questions to that.

WISE also do transfers of up to 2mil to Kasikorn and BBL. 1.5M to SCB.

Can't see why onward would be required. You are not (imo) entering Thailand. You remain airside. For convenience I would print out your flight tickets rather than have on phone.

Yes however 100% do not do border run without using minivan agent. Bangkok/Pattaya to Cambodia good option. Keep up to date with reports closer to time you need it
