    After you enter Thailand with tourist visa you can obtain an extension at immigration office where you are staying. A TM30 may be required and your hotel can provide you with screenshot. The extension requires few basic photocopies of pp. How long do you hope to visit Thailand?

    Just making sure that you are aware of 60 day extension to visit wife. For 90 day reoccurring stays a visa exempt entry 30 days + 60 to visit wife is simple. Be aware that some offices may want you to obtain standard 30 day extension first. Check with you immigration office.

    Will leave requirements for tv to others that can perhaps give recent experience. As for your stamp into Thailand it would be 60 days. Once in Thailand you can also extend that 60 days by 30. The cost for extension is 1900baht.

    For non O based on marriage you need 400k in bank on day of application. Obtain your non O at immigration in Thailand. That gives a 90 day stamp. In the last 30 days with the 400k having been in bank for 2 months obtain a 12 month extension. No need to exit Thailand.

    Don't be too worried by these type of threads. There was a spat of refused entries not long prior to covid. Especially at DMK. A lot depends on your history of visa exempt entries and importantly time spent outside of Thailand between entries.

    What is your problem. Thailand makes available visa exempt entry also they do not place a limit on visa exempt entries via air. The poster that you quoted had very low level visits to Thailand. He does not require a tourist visa. The io was way out of line. Not unusual.

    Oh please. Having funds on your person and onward flight is virtually never required by immigration upon arrival. The requirement for onward flight is all down to the airline at departure. If flying without a visa or reentry permit then an onward flight MAY be required by airline to issue boarding pass.

    OP, your friend needs to act very quickly to use option of going to immigration to pay overstay days and obtain 30 day extension. More than few days he should exit Thailand and pay overstay upon leaving.

    Thanks for that ...however the one app that I have lost my id #for is my Westpac banking. Luckily with my previous phone I transfer all my apps, etc to my current phone. The password and id# was transfered with the app. Another banking app with different bank transfered the app but not with log in codes. Go figure. Anyway plenty of cheap cells. The GF suggests a Samsung A12 for 4500baht. Seems good enough

    Hopefully can jump in on this thread. I'm also looking for new phone. Basic phone required around 5-6k. Any suggestions. BTW the only reason for need back up cell is that my current cell has started getting into a turn on-off loop. Yes read about it on net and possible causes. Deleted videos etc to free up space. Just nervous as existing phone has my banking and access codes which I don't have.

    I use CW have fixed bank account. Stay in draw all year and I deposit 1000b on day of obtaining bank letter and copy of bank book pages.

    Non O based on what. Why obtain a non O if the stay required is 3 months only.
