I drove it some time with ITAC off, I see how it works now if you're cornering hard under power.

I tried ITAC off, I couldn't tell the difference

Roads are clean and dry, it's just the tyres lose grip some of the time. The car has more power than the tyres can handle on a greasy road (no rain here for months). Sometimes it's ok. What does the superfine print say? i can't drive it spiritedly?

On second thought, it's likely both wheels were losing transaction and it is a multi-channel ESC The answer here is to feed in power slowly.
-
I mentioned before that when I floor the throttle at low speed it stutters a couple of times before it gives me full power. I figured out what it is, it's the ESC. turning it off I get full power straight away but the back tyres lose traction and the car starts to go sideways. Driving a fast car without ESC is far too risky for me. There are 2 issues here, first the ESC looks to be a single channel device, ie when a wheel breaks traction it cuts the power to all wheels, if it was multi-channel then it would control each wheel independently usually by breaking the wheel that loses traction, hopefully it will come with a software update. Secondly, the car needs bigger & better rear tyres. The Continentals are a good compromise but they aren't sufficiently grippy. I don't know how much wider you can go, on a previous high performance EV the rear tyres appear to be much wider and much more expensive (circa 25k THB ea), but I can't find the specs.

Electric Vehicles in Thailand

Tesla lost money for many years, it's not unusual. -
I agree 100%, the overall car market is not going to grow significantly, the market share of EV's as new sales is going to increase, that can only mean legacy ICE vehicle share is going to drop. We can all extrapolate from there what that means, dealerships closing or consolidating, range of ICE models decreasing, price war on ICE vehicles which is great for the consumer, etc etc

Bangkok has approximately 10 times the population of Chonburi, it is also a lot more densely populated which lends itself to EV's. Chonburi has approximately half the volume of EV's per capita, which is not unreasonable considering it is much more sparsely populated and many of the sales shown as Bangkok were people from Chonburi because their province's dealerships were in the process of opening up. All your post proves is that you are a bigot.
-
No it doesn't. The study shows that 50% of owners of some bad EV's switch back. It's clear Tesla and other Chinese brands don't switch back as they are delighted with their cars.

My advice is make your shortlist and test drive them all. There is a big difference, only two in that list drive well. I have had 2 new pickups, first was a top spec Vigo (3.0 Auto G) and 2nd was a top spec Ford (Ranger Wildtrak 3.2). The Ford was a far superior drive, but I wouldn't recommend keeping it past 5 years and I would take out the extended warranty too. I borrowed a friends Nissan Navarra top spec, horrible car.

Removing Section 112 has nothing to do with overthrowing the democratic regime of the government with the King as the head of state. The UK has a democratic regime of government with the King as head of state without a Section 112.

The OP said he wanted a new car for next year, BYD will have an EV pickup on sale sometime next year, it may be a PHEV.

Nissan Motors Credit Rating was downrated to "Junk" status last week. You buy a Nissan at your peril.

I charge to 100% about once a month, most of the time I charge from about 25% to 85%. I have charged once from 9% to 100% (2 nights ago). My drivers carpet fits fine. The only farting noise I occasionally hear is me. First service today (completely free). I told the Salesman that all the stickers on their cars are incorrect, they do not have Lithium Ion batteries.

Electric Vehicles in Thailand

1,199,000 would make it very expensive compared with the D and X, if it drives anything like the standard models it will be a fantastic hot hatch. -
Story only 4 years old, couldn’t you find an older one?

Thai EV sales surge by 603% amid government incentives

You should be selling your Tesla shares now, at least one analyst is predicting they will make a loss this year, that will make the share price tank.
