BYD set to overtake Ford and Honda Chinese Automaker BYD Set to Surpass Ford and Honda in Global Sales

Congratulations Yodarapper, you’ll be very happy with it. I chose 40% cut 60% transmissible window film on my car. Try charging with your Lazada charger at 16 amps, if you think it’s getting too hot, just knock it down to 13 amps.

BYD describe the Seal as a Sports Saloon and it’s an incredibly fun car to drive. It has a very low center of gravity, almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution with a 55% bias on power to the rear wheels. The car is set up to be incredibly safe in normal driving with a slight oversteer under a lot of power. With instantaneous torque available it makes the car both appealing to a careful driver but with immense power and superb handling for those who want to push it the limit or drift it round corners. Not on the public highway obviously.

My takeaway from that is twice as many people are choosing EV’s over Toyota. Who is losing out from these EV sales?

First determine the type of load your device has, if it's inductive rather than resistive, size accordingly. I have a 2KVA pure sine wave UPS but it needs external 48v batteries if you're interested? It used to run the lighting & IT circuits in a very large house.

The Seal Power to weight ratio is 150% of the Raptor, I believe the expression is the Seal will p?ss all over the Ford. Ford Ranger Raptor V6 Engine: 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 Power: 405 horsepower (302 kW) Weight: 5,325 lbs (2,436 kg) Power-to-Weight Ratio: 0.08 hp/lb BYD Seal Performance Engine: Dual Motor Electric Power: 523 horsepower (390 kW) Weight: 4,540 lbs (2,055 kg) Power-to-Weight Ratio: 0.12 hp/lb

I chose 40% cut (60% transmission) front, sides and back. Nothing for the roof, it's already specially treated and I don t find it hot. -

Geely are one of China's biggest Auto manufacturers, I am sure they will open in Chiang Mai within 12 months so I wouldn't let that put me off. I think they own Volvo too and make their cars for them in China. Regarding Sealion 7 and future improvements. I would suggest you ignore future improvements, this is probably 3 years away. By the time we get 3.0 EVO there will be something else 3 years away, and this will go on for decades. Buy what is available here and now unless you're sure something is coming within a timeframe of under a year. -
Here is a link Taysla เครื่องชาร์จ3.5KW EV 16A เครื่องชาร์จไฟรถยนต์ชนิด2สายชาร์จชนิด1 16A j1772 evse 80V-260V สำหรับยานพาหนะไฟฟ้า | Lazada.co.th choose the Type 2 option. This will work on your existing socket where you park your car and will charge at about 3.5Kw on the 16 amp setting. Your house appears to have a good electrical installation, you shouldn't have any problem. You can select 8, 10, 13 or 16 amps, the highest setting is 60% faster than the supplied charger. If you have a breaker trip (unlikely) or you feel uncomfortable, knock the current down to 13 amp which is 30% faster than the supplied charger. However, it should be perfectly OK at 16 amps, that's what the socket is rated at.

I think about three years, it’s best to forget about new models and incremental improvements unless they are imminent and this one is not The currency Sealion 7 is a stunning car -
Where to start, NVH (Noise Vibration & Harshness) which is what tires you on a long journey, 5 times more per km running cost, performance, handling, 5 hours per year wasted at fuel stations, not being able to fill up at home, overly complicated with too many moving parts, increased fire risk (12 times, 130 times if Hybrid). We have an MG4, a superb car, but it wouldn't be buying an MG with an ICE engine. @Yodarapper you've been all through this loop and chosen a superb car, the Atto is an excellent choice and perfect for you.

I wouldn’t be buying any ICE no matter what the price

You're right, because they don't want your car, they will offer less than they get from a tent as they want to make a profit on it, oft times they are guessing what a tent will offer them so have to be careful. -

I would try and sell your CRV privately at about 250,000. I just looked at One2Car and they seem to be 300k+ so you need to undercut, advertise on One2car, bahtsold and facebook marketplace. -

I think the Sealion charges at 11Kw on 3 phase Carl previously had 3 phase as we talked about AVR's. Personally, I prefer single phase at my home, if I was going 3 phase I'd make sure I had everything I wanted running in a power cut on on the same phase. I would also install 3 ATS transfer switches to switch a failed phase onto a working phase as most of the power cuts we get on this development are a single phase failing. -

EV Charger should start to list them, if you want to start single phase and upgrade to 3 phase later, you'll need a 22Kw 3 phase charger most likely with a Type 2 plug for the car. Just check it can run on single phase first. Don't buy an 11Kw charger as it will only charge at 3.6Kw on single phase. -

Does that extra 20,000 include installation? If it does it's a good deal, if it doesn't you'll find them on Lazada from about a third of that. -
Just make you buy one with a Type 2 plug into the car.

Any of them with the mains plug being 2 pin will be ok, they always spoof the missing earth.
