  1. I think EV owners are more mindful of floods, I don't think any EV owner would deliberately take their car through a flood. Both times I did it, I had already traveled 90km and didn't want to turn around. I think it's the Wuling EV they demonstrate as amphibious here, it can float and cross floods.
  2. Vibrator, hand cuffs, dog collar, butt plug Seriously, I only use mine when flying, it's handy for passport, boarding card, powerbank and phone. I don't use it any other time.
  3. That's great for consumers because all those vehicles will be sold cheaper, so the numbers are still accurate.
  4. They are basically portable wall boxes. The functionality matches a wall box but they are much cheaper. If you put a screw in the wall, they hook over the screw and make a semi-permanent installation. If you wire a standard 16 amp plug to a portable 32 amp socket, you can also take this combination with you for hotels etc, just remember to select 16 amps or lower first.
  5. You're the one with the web of lies, you're so biased it beggars belief. Here is the verification of the "unverified comment from the Gazan doctor". Almost every day we are seeing reports of atrocities by the IDF and yet if we are to believe you, none of them are true.
  6. I don't think it is, or you would have said where the origin of Hossam Shabat's report (he is a reporter, he never stated it was his opinion). It's his job to report what he hears. It came from Dr. Al Bursh. I can't help wondering how a Dr. can "see" to deal with a vapourised body in the hospital, I suspect there's a mistranslation somewhere here, however that is just my opinion.
  7. It's clear we are not going to agree. Your mind is closed.
  8. So "multiple eye witness accounts" are baseless? Wake up & smell the coffee Brian.
  9. Some auto manufacturers are in trouble in the UK. They are going to be fined around 600,000 THB per car they sell that fails to enable them to hit a 22% threshold on EV's (not sure if PHEV count, but I know a man who will comment, cue: Vinny) Separate research by The Telegraph motoring desk show a litany of seemingly successful companies which, with only a month to the end of the year, are facing massive bills for non-compliance. Electric-only producers such as Tesla and BYD are obviously in the clear, with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jeep and Cupra – along with MG – having EV sales comfortably over this year’s 22 per cent threshold. In fact, some of those companies are trading their surplus in a carbon market that has been encouraged by Government. Less comfortable are Lexus, Hyundai, Vauxhall, Honda and Audi. Those selling large volumes of cars, many of them uncompliant with the ZEV mandate, face the largest fines. Think Toyota, Skoda, Kia, Nissan, Volkswagen, Ford, Mazda, Jaguar Land Rover, Seat and Suzuki. How the Zero Emissions Vehicle mandate is skewing the UK car market
  10. I did note it was a Gaza journalist. My constant accusations as you put it come from multiple eye witness accounts. I am still not surprised you read and post conspiracy theories
  11. This is my wall box, I had my electrician fit the 32amp plug and socket (lower right in the photo) so when I move I can unplug the wall box and take it with me. The ABB wall box is a superb device and with 3 phase is capable of 22kw charging.
  12. Why am I not surprised you read and post conspiracy theories?
  13. Here's another article on Nissan's woes. I suspect they won't exist inside 2 years 'Real reason' for Nissan collapse revealed as finance chief steps down
  14. I never said to discount his arguments, I said he cannot be considered unbiased.
  15. What is sad is your unwavering defence of Israel. Your grammar and spelling doesn't help. Greg Rose cannot be considered unbiased, he is Jewish and probably holds an Israeli passport, the whole point of legal process with the ICC is to determine guilt or innocence. It's wrong to consider one Jewish man in Australia crying wolf.
  16. So what do you do with accusations? You gather evidence and if you think they meet the burden of proof, you do EXACTLY what the ICC did, you issue arrest warrants.
  17. Incidentally, my salesman told me that they received the email from Rever at 3am on the morning of the discounts.
  18. What is the size of the battery on the car you're thinking of buying?
  19. There seems hardly a day to go by without more accusations of war crimes by Israel. Here is another accusation from an Israeli Former Defense Minister in today’s news that aligns with my own thinking https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/former-israeli-defense-minister-yaalon-warns-ethnic-cleansing-gaza-2024-12-01/
  20. But the MG will drive through a flood, the Yaris won't. Ground clearance is irrelevant.
  21. What a strange comment
  22. You can get chargers that look like a granny charger but are fitted with a 32 amp industrial single phase plug, they charge at exactly the same speed as the fastest single phase wall box (7.4Kw at 230v). All that's then needed is for an electrician to fit a 40amp breaker in the OP's consumer circuit breaker panel and cable it to a 32 amp socket where he parks his car. For the OP who rents and may at some point move houses, it's a better option for him because he can take it with him (you can put a screw in the wall and hook it on the wall and it's then a portable wall box). It's also much cheaper.
  23. 42K is way too much. If you're doing less than 100km / day use the supplied granny charger If you're doing 100-200km/day go with the plug in 16amp/3.6kw charger at 6,800 baht or less If you're doing 200km+ in a day followed by long journey next day budget 12-20,000 baht and get an electrician to fit a 40a breaker in your existing panel and a 32 amp socket in your parking area and buy a 7Kw portable floor/wall box I showed the picture of. There is no way on this earth I would spend 42,000 baht on a wall box.
