  1. Vinny, you’re nothing more than an old troll peddling misinformation.
  2. Vinny, you can post absolute numbers but you’re incapable of researching percentages? I believe EV market share has grown massively and ICE market share has declined massively. I thought you might be capable enough to extrapolate those figure, apparently, I’m wrong. Perhaps someone more capable will do that.
  3. Perhaps you could quote market shares instead of absolute numbers, they we can see buyer behavior.
  4. That’s true, but should it make a difference?
  5. A conviction for smuggling Heroin however opens the doors to being a cabinet minister.
  6. Roojai cover the seal dynamic and premium models, but they will not cover the performance model.
  7. It was an Indian restaurant, it’s polite to eat following their cultural norms, with the correct hand. The gentleman diner is both Thai and Canadian. This was the Chiang Rai dining group in its eighth year and open to everybody not the gentlemen who may be invited to the OP’s “billy-no-mates” event.
  8. Now in our 8th year, every second Thursday of the month a group of people meet up at various locations around town, December 2024 we are at La Ola for lunch at 12 noon on 12th December. Everybody is welcome, and it’s a good opportunity to make new friends. The restaurant needs to prepare enough food for the number of people who book and need to know how many people will definitely be attending at least 24 hours in advance so please make your booking in good time. The cost for this event is 499 baht per person and there will be the opportunity to sample a few of the restaurants dishes in a Tapas style usually half a dozen or so. If people book and then do not turn up, the organiser will be asked to pay for them so if you RSVP it is a definite commitment and we must ask that if you can’t make it you give at least 24 hours’ notice or pay 499 Baht per person. If you have been to La Ola before with Ostraka you will know what a fantastic event this is, and if you haven’t been then you are in for a real treat. Probably the best restaurant in Chiang Rai, I strongly recommend you come hungry! Co hosted with The Chiang Rai Ex-Pat Club.

  9. The hat is to hide a hair transplant!
  10. You’re all overthinking this. Let anyone come who wants to come, host greets everyone and makes them welcome. Host chooses the restaurant. I’ve been doing this for 8 years and we often get requests from restaurants to choose their restaurant resulting in great deals. Look at this as “giving something back” rather than what can I get out of it.
  11. There are a few on Trustpilot who had their claims rejected. Unfortunately, it's not possible to contact them.
  12. The car took 3.5 seconds to come to a stop in the video, it was already decelerating. Assuming it only started braking at the beginning of the video (and it was probably before that), AI puts the speed in excess of 120 km/hr.
  13. Is it possible he gets bigger commissions from them? There seem to be some very unhappy customers on trustpilot, according to WrLife's CEO, they are all liars.
  14. Always check out insurers on trustpilot WrLife Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of www.wrlife.net
  15. I self-insure, but I would strongly recommend that anyone contemplating taking out insurance checks them out on Trustpilot etc.
  16. This has been debunked in these forums before, at least 5 times. Do some research before posting false information.

  19. I pay my live-in maid 2,800 baht per week, 560 baht per day for 6 hours per day. If you want Nanny duties too, it's important you never ask for more than 8 hours work (inc. nannying) in a day or you will lose her. Maid & Nanny are two different jobs, if you are going to combine them then it's important you don't expect too many hours from her.
  20. I'm looking forward to Thailand getting some of the larger luxury EV's from China.
  21. The first thing I would advise is don’t lose them. Your wife is probably doing something wrong. Pay them more than anyone else and treat them like family, don’t expect them to be slaves and respect boundaries. In 12 years I only had 2 maids, the second is the daughter in-law of the first, who retired back to her village.
  22. PS I wouldn't buy a Tesla either.
  23. This guy was quoted $55k 7 years ago for a C63 engine. Close to around $55k,at least that's what I was quoted by the dealership when I bought my car. They warned me to take care of my engine or else it'll be that. Can't imagine the newer ones to be any cheaper.
  24. Well.... I didn't reference Italian cars, or French cars, or Russian cars, or Spanish cars, or American cars, or British cars. Is there a reason you specifically wanted me to reference Japanese cars?
