  1. There are well documented war crimes being committed by Israeli soldiers, most recently with drones killing injured children, there are multiple eye-witness accounts. To prove Netanyahu is guilty of war crimes you have to either prove he ordered war crimes directly, or that Israel's response is not proportional. The former is impossible, the latter is down to a jury to decide.
  2. There's plenty of evidence war crimes are being committed. That doesn't mean Netanyahu is guilty of them, to prove that you would have to prove Israel's response (under his leadership) is not proportional.
  3. Maybe a solution is to lacquer the circuit boards? I have had Daikon indoor units repaired 5 times and scrapped 2 when the outdoor boards were damaged by geckos.
  4. The Former Colonies wouldn’t be in this mess if they hadn’t revolted and buckled under to their British overlords. (sarcasm, I need to spell that out to as you don’t understand our language).
  5. What does your lease say?
  6. Your lease should be with the landlord not the agent. It’s not valid if it’s with the agent. I don’t use agent’s contracts, I write my own and I renew directly with tenants after the first year and I do not pay Agent commission for the second and subsequent years because they do no work for it as it’s my contract.
  7. I think we are safe in Thailand, they are unlikely to declare war on China & can fairly much be guaranteed to take the moral low-ground in any war
  8. VinFast are rubbish, there are hundreds of them here, but they are all Taxis
  9. I’m sure my daughters could explain your thesis, but they are ‘hard at it’ studying at Payap University while I have to slum it in my Executive Suite at the Dusit Princess Hotel on Phu Quoc. Please sympathize with me. 753769467.568604.mp4
  10. I didn’t understand your last post Vinny, could you explain it in more detail, please?
  11. I’ve eaten in Billy’s many times and watched his son grow up from a toddler to a teenager. Billy is Burmese btw. Everything except Pizza is excellent there IMHO
  12. Forget the absolute numbers, it doesn’t tell you trends. Look at market share percentages. Please don’t reply to this Vinny, you’ve made your point and I’ve made mine, let’s agree to differ, nobody wants to see you drag this on and on.
  13. I took this graphic from the EV Club Thailand group on Facebook. It’s fairly clear EV market share is increasing substantially and this can only mean the ICE market share is decreasing. I thought I better post it as it’s clear young Vinny is either not able or capable.
  14. Yada, Yada,Yada
  15. Vinny, you’re nothing more than an old troll peddling misinformation.
  16. Vinny, you can post absolute numbers but you’re incapable of researching percentages? I believe EV market share has grown massively and ICE market share has declined massively. I thought you might be capable enough to extrapolate those figure, apparently, I’m wrong. Perhaps someone more capable will do that.
  17. Perhaps you could quote market shares instead of absolute numbers, they we can see buyer behavior.
  18. That’s true, but should it make a difference?
  19. A conviction for smuggling Heroin however opens the doors to being a cabinet minister.
  20. Roojai cover the seal dynamic and premium models, but they will not cover the performance model.
  21. It was an Indian restaurant, it’s polite to eat following their cultural norms, with the correct hand. The gentleman diner is both Thai and Canadian. This was the Chiang Rai dining group in its eighth year and open to everybody not the gentlemen who may be invited to the OP’s “billy-no-mates” event.
  22. Now in our 8th year, every second Thursday of the month a group of people meet up at various locations around town, December 2024 we are at La Ola for lunch at 12 noon on 12th December. Everybody is welcome, and it’s a good opportunity to make new friends. The restaurant needs to prepare enough food for the number of people who book and need to know how many people will definitely be attending at least 24 hours in advance so please make your booking in good time. The cost for this event is 499 baht per person and there will be the opportunity to sample a few of the restaurants dishes in a Tapas style usually half a dozen or so. If people book and then do not turn up, the organiser will be asked to pay for them so if you RSVP it is a definite commitment and we must ask that if you can’t make it you give at least 24 hours’ notice or pay 499 Baht per person. If you have been to La Ola before with Ostraka you will know what a fantastic event this is, and if you haven’t been then you are in for a real treat. Probably the best restaurant in Chiang Rai, I strongly recommend you come hungry! Co hosted with The Chiang Rai Ex-Pat Club.
