I have aftermarket wheels and I think they are 1 inch wider than the standard wheels (8 inches) but they have the standard tires on, I will be upgrading the tires two sizes wider when they need replacing. Standard tires on wider wheels gets rid of the tract issue from standing starts on dry, clean roads.

By HEV do you mean Hybrid ICE or Hydrogen vehicle?

You might be interested to know that one of the major manufacturers of green hydrogen agrees with McKinsey, Hydrogen has no place in passenger cars and will be used for long haul trucking.

Correct me if I am wrong. All I am hearing from EV owners here is that they are very happy with their purchases. The only people that seem to have strong opinions against EV’s is those members who are ignorant of the ownership experience. Actually, your pictures hadn’t loaded when I replied, I was referring to other Internet memes. Also, I suspect those photos are staged.

Except what you see on the Internet shows the charging cable plugged into the car, it doesn’t matter whether the generator is running or not, you cannot engage drive with a cable in the socket. That’s why they are all staged and fake.

Being green or doing something good for the planet had absolutely nothing to do with my decision to buy an EV, it was entirely selfish, I just wanted a better quality drive experience.

Thailand is executing a plan to go greener, IMHO they could do better. Thailand’s EV subsidies, EV targets and going green generally are all part of a master plan.

I tend to change my cars every 1 or 2 years. I know the car market very well, that’s why myself and one of my daughters drive EV’s. Decisions gained from knowledge trump opinions gained from ignorance or prejudice. If you knew what you were talking about, it would help. The number of BYD’s on One2Car changes every day, it’s a very buoyant market with high demand. I’m trying to buy a 2nd hand Good Cat for my youngest daughter, but they are too expensive, new are a better buy.
