  1. What like spending on accommodation and stuff like that? Or perhaps you think the figures quoted in other threads are all directly relatable to the specifics of the report above.
  2. I’ll give inserting the ATM card a go next time. I admit I was in a bit of a rush to get rid of the cash on my way for a beer with a friend.
  3. I yesterday sold a top end racing bike, the buyer drove over to inspect and pay but arrived after the banks had closed. I was expecting a bank to bank transfer but he turned up with cash. Which is of course always nice to receive. I took the money to a Kasikorn Bank Cash Deposit Machine but could not make the deposit as the machine requests a Thai National ID number as and I could not see an option to use my passport number. I understand this requirement for an ID number comes from the latest anti money laundering measures. So now I have to make a trip into the bank to make the deposit. Do the CDMs accept Foreign passport numbers or is there a a hack I’m not aware of?
  4. No mention of mobile phones in the OP. It might be something Transam dreamed up.
  5. It took five minutes for the predicted nonsense to show up.
  6. Trump has been cowed by the gag order. His attack on the Judge’s daughter, who is not included in the gag order, is a news grabbing stunt that portrays Trump as doing what his supporters love about him, being overtly offensive and attacking a woman. It’s pure cowardice. Think back on how many times in the past Trump’s response to a man who has power or leverage over Trump has been to attack the man’s wife or girlfriend. It’s what this slimy coward does. His supporters love him for it.
  7. He can after the DOJ has finished with him.
  8. No surprises at all. The fact millions of people in the UK are relying on food banks for basic food needs has been discussed at length on this forum a number of times. Brace for the usual ‘blame the poor for being poor’ comments.
  9. It’s going to make the image of prisoner shackles on Trump all the more enjoyable.
  10. I think we all agree, or at least I hope we do, that it’s a good idea to keep religion out of government - way way out of government.
  11. On the matter of Assange reviving bail backed by a guarantor and then going on the lam, burdening his guarantor with the legal obligation to shell out the cash. Do you have any thoughts on that, or is it one of those gray areas between known truths, signed agreements and the desire of a toxic narcissist to avoid justice kind of things?!
  12. Because the bigoted views you were fed and chose to swallow out weigh over 800 years of Common Law Jurisprudence.
  13. You might recall the bridge hadn’t yet been knocked down.
  14. Like there’s never going to be another vote on the matter?
  15. Dylan Mulvaney might not be your cup of tea, but then taking a Freudian view, your overt expression of disgust together with your posting history of anti transgender ranting might suggest otherwise.
  16. Article 7. For those suffering the delusion that treaties and case law doesn’t matter: https://www.congress.gov/treaty-document/108th-congress/23/document-text
  17. Got to give the Republicans some credit. When they invent baseless allegations they simply will not give up on them. Imagine if they put half as much effort into serving America.
  18. How is any of that remotely relevant to topic under discussion? Read up on amicus curiae.
  19. The headline seems to be from a different article.
  20. I’ll explain it simply to see if you can understand. A man has the same rights as a woman, for example the same rights to address a court of law. Refer your first post above. Denying someone that right because they are transgender would be an example of denying transgender rights.
  21. By filing an ‘amicus curiae brief’ with the court. Completely consistent with over 800 years of common law jurisprudence.
  22. Baseless opinions made by people who are unable to defend their nonsense.
