Thai Government Prepares to Recruit Thais to Address Labor Shortage
EVENKEEL replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Until they find a better job, then no. They made a definite choice when many failed to complete even M6. I worked manual labor jobs for many years, the one thing I always did was look for something higher paid, always. When I was out of work and looking, well that was a full time job for me. I went factory to factory to factory daily trying to find something. Here unless a job comes knocking I don't think they're looking too hard. -
Before the change, the definition for “vaccination” read, “the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.” Now, the word “immunity” has been switched to “protection.” The term “vaccine” also got a makeover. The CDC’s definition changed from “a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease” to the current “a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.” It's just a coincidence this change happened now. I think not. Up until covid hit us we looked upon a vaccine as a stopper more or less. We felt sort of safe having kids vaccinated. When my daughter was born here in Thailand they gave her many vaccinations or shots or whatever really smart people call them so they can feel smart. Now you're trying to say it's just a coincidence that the definition of vaccine changed.

The only thing that should matter is the money, period. -

It's humorous because when I ask the little lady the working status of certain family members in Isaan, it's no jobs.....Covid. So when I pursue this subject I say "Well I've read many companies don't have people to work" Response is a blank look. -
Thanks, sounds like a good option.

So, thought I'd hit up the Pattaya guys about where the big bikes park at Central Festival coming in from second road? Thanks...

This vaccine doesn't get rid of any disease. Here in Thailand getting the vaccine is more than walking into a CVS so I'm late getting mine. It doesn't mean I'm happy about it. I spent 24 yrs of the Gov telling me what I had to have injected if I wanted to keep a job. I object to the labels and name calling because we question taking a vaccine which doesn't have a long track record. If the vaccine works then why are vaccinated people worried, oh wait it doesn't really stop Covid does it. People who are fat and have other medical issues should take it. If you're young and inshape and don't want the vaccine then that should be a personal choice. If the government can tell what to inject in out bodies, what's next?

Read my post again maybe. I've been jabbed with every possible juice for last 20 yrs to keep my job. Those include small pox and anthrax to be able to work in Middle East. I'll take the covid experimental juice to make travel easier. Just because the FDA gives approval doesn't mean squat about long term side effects which aren't known yet.

How many of these patients were hanging on by a thread before the covid virus was detected? The old and sick should be vaccinated, but what about the young and healthy, they should take the vaccine to help Others, be a team player and inject that experimental juice in their arm. And if these covid patients were vaccinated then why are they in a hospital if the vaccine works. I'm scheduled for Phizer, just to get along I'll take it. Doesn't mean I think everyone is obligated to.

All those people who work overseas on a rotation but have a home in Thailand have been locked out for a long time because doing the quarantine made the trip home nearly impossible. Some leave the workplace in various countries AKA merchant seamen. Needing a visa each time to enter is over the top stupid.
