I really don't think that will happen, because it is not sustainable. The average lifespan is increasing. IMO Labor and the Coalition would combine to defeat the bill. The Greens can put forward initiatives like these, such as the recent housing bill. They know they won't have to actually implement the policy, but it does garner them votes from the two major parties from people who are too stupid to see it's political cynicism.

If we have the gumption to uproot ourselves in search of a better life, please explain why we should be penalized for it. Do you pay non-resident tax of 31.5% on your self-funded pension?

When the OP's wife can no longer work, it will be interesting to see whether the daughters live up to the implied obligation to take care of her. Any village daughter would; however, the reference to an elite accustomed to entitlement may not be a happy ending. My guess is the daughters would then be harassing the mother to access farang funds.

It used to happen with me, until I realised it's a glitch that sometimes happens in gmail accounts. It can happen when posting on social media as well. It may be traffic-related. Nothing to do with the keyboard. They usually start failing when one or more of the keys decides to quit. Which happens more frequently if they are repeatedly hit too hard when typing.

I have found it useful if I am writing an extensive email to create a document in LibreOffice ( Linux version of Microsoft Office ). I open the email, fill the subject line, then copy and paste the text from the document into the email or post. It's saved me a lot of aggravation.
