It certainly does, which is why employees in constant contact with the public were given the choice - work vaccinated, or don't work unvaccinated. I keep my distance and don't breathe on anybody, you're safe from my imaginary shedding.

American Building Standards and Wildfires
Lacessit replied to Flyguy330's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
It amazes me Americans still put up with shingles on their roofs. Quite apart from the fire risk, they have to be replaced every ten years or so. A Colorbond (TM) roof is guaranteed against perforation by rust for 36 years. Orroroo is a small town of 600 people in South Australia with a semi-arid climate. There are galvanized roofs there over 100 years old, still in good condition. I guess it comes down to tradition. -
It's the severity that counts, not the vaccination status. That ship has already sailed. Calling me dishonest when you display the empathy of a scorpion, that's rich.

I get it, a statistical sample of one proves your case. What I don't get is information on how many COVID patients who rejected vaccination died, or suffered long COVID, after taking Ivermectin.
-
Australian statistics showed quite clearly ICU units were 6-7 times more likely to be admitting unvaccinated COVID patients than vaccinated ones. Effectively, those patients crowded out other patients without COVID who had life-threatening conditions. Their relatives would think your selfishness, arising from your beliefs, is unbelievable. So do I.

2025 stock favorites
Lacessit replied to bkk6060's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Precious metals and some shares - not all - have served me well over the years, although I only buy those listed on the ASX. My stock pick for 2025 is BHP. IMO it is undervalued, goes ex dividend early March. I have put my money where my mouth is. -
American Building Standards and Wildfires
Lacessit replied to Flyguy330's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
In America and Canada, I have observed many houses have roofs made of pine or cypress shingles, which then have bitumen applied for water-proofing. As a recipe for destruction by fire, it would be difficult to find conditions more ideal. While a metal roof might not survive in high risk areas, it does have a much better chance of doing so. -
Not worried at all. I'm just hoping something really nasty comes along with a 90% mortality rate, to take out all the anti-vaxxers. Think of the improvement in average IQ that would result.

Please tell me how to go on YouTube, armed with a shelf full of books behind me, a teleprompter, and thick spectacles. When I explain viruses and bacteria are actually nano-chips coated onto every device sold with a Microsoft OS, I am sure I can get a million subscribers.

Just Landed in Bangkok – Where Should I Start?"
Lacessit replied to Bens-Journey's topic in General Topics
Wow, Bangkok is expensive. 2-3K is all I have ever needed for a night out in Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai, and that includes someone to love me long time. Mind you, that was about 10 years ago. Ask BMT, he is au fait with the current COP. -

Don't come to Chiang Rai, it's brass monkeys' weather. Stay in Bangkok with the wimps. Serious advice - don't get legless, and don't carry too much cash. 2-3K baht is all you should need for a night on the town. -
OP, learn to love it. Your finger pressure on the trigger determines the water pressure you get. Gently, a slow flow. More, you can give yourself a free enema if you so wish. You will learn how to point the nozzle in the correct direction. Practice makes perfect. So enjoy Thailand's greatest contribution to world civilization.

Which hospital did your endoscopy? Government or private?

The last couple of days, Chiang Rai has had jet aircraft screaming overhead, flying low. What's going on?

Minister launches emergency plan as deadly dust chokes Thailand
Lacessit replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It's not just sugar cane, it's crop stubble and vegetation. Every year, villagers start fires in the forests, to stimulate the growth of edible fungi in the rainy season. -
You got a bargain , then. Cystoscopy with local anesthesia, Bangkok Hospital, Chiang Mai, - 18,000 baht. Same put to sleep, 65,000 baht.

Does Trump completely lack decency and compassion?
Lacessit replied to spidermike007's topic in Political Soapbox
Lots of Republican losers too, they just haven't realized it yet. -
The price seems to depend on whether anesthetic is involved. Being put to sleep during the procedure IME hikes the price by about 50,000 baht.
