  1. Your graph is near identical to ours here in Chiang Mai. Best solar production also 11 to 14, 19 to 25. :) Like you, our 12 panels are virtually flat atop a 3degree pitch roof. Production starts around 0800 and ceases by 1800. Still making 1.3kw at 1730hrs with best daily peaks last month around 7kw production during middle of day.
  2. Correct. However the actual cost is not a fixed sum per unit as others have suggested.
  3. Sliding fee scale as shown here >
  4. 1st problem is getting online to register for the handout how many times did we see systems crashing during Covid due to overloaded servers. And, how will rural folk will be given access to register let alone reap any rewards. The proposed system relies primarily on funding from existing or future taxes, stealing from Peter to pay Paul. The logistics will be a nightmare and carry huge admin costs if it ever gets off the ground, which is doubtful.
  5. Within 4km of the citizens registered home address ... LOL.
  6. A good example of Chinese thinking outside the box - pun intended. Properly installed in a flood free zone and with some sort of ventilation, and shade, I think the system has merit. Perhaps more suited to cooler climates and zero-lot dwellings?
  7. Do they burn and emit toxic fumes in a house fire?
  8. On the north side you have Green Valley - good if you're a golfer though it's a bit far out of the cbd. On the south side - Nai Fan on the canal road or BanWangtan near the Makro on Hang Dong Road. 999 Developments have a display and office in Banwangtan and often handle rentals on investment sales https://999developments.com/
  9. I'm somewhat confused by your terminology though if talking 'pitch' - distance between seats - SIA's A350 Economy seat is quite uncomfortable compared with say, Cathay. Book either an exit row or bulkhead seat OR Premium Economy.
  10. Depending on pool size and elevation, a siphon left running may do the trick.
  11. Yes, AI is being used by news media to translate 'stories' from any source, especially social media, into English for publication. There is no fact-checking. Eg: the recent '5m long Cobra' story, repeated across many news sites.
  12. Similarly, AI being used to translate anything into misinformation

    BKK Hotel

Central to everything including transport - Hotel Eleven on Sukhumvit 11 Or ... Clover Hotel on Suk 16 - actually opposite Asoke/Terminal21. Quiet, impeccable service and fabulous breakfast!
  14. Output from my 10kw Deye was only showing Production/Consumption until I started feeding back to grid (shhhh) and I got a surprise at midday to see 7.37kw being produced out of 12 (x 550w) Longi PV's = 608w per panel The panels were 100% aimed at the midday sun and it was a totally clear sky.
  15. These anodised woks are almost non-stick if used correctly, moreso than polished SS ones. One can use a 3M green scourer on them. I also use a Circulon non-stick wok with lid which has not deteriorated at all in over 7 years.
  16. Purchased in Australia (ex Gov't) - 120GB/8GB ram - not suitable for gaming. Available with 500gb/6gb HDD on Lazada for Bt 2,600
  17. I replaced an 8 year old HP laptop with a Lenovo NUC and love it. I already had a 24" monitor and wireless keyboard and so only needed to buy a camera and speakers. Best part is the NUC fits in a small recess below the desk top. And oh boy, it is so fast to boot up!

    Pine wood

Disagree all you like except you are not using logic. Yes, pine can be treated, usually ex sawmill (NZ), but the DoHome 3 metre lengths, in fact none of their stock, is sold as treated. Having used treated pine framing in Australia I have 1st hand knowledge of termite treatments AND how the little critters may enjoy a meal of previously treated pinewood studs after an elapsed period of exposure to moisture.

    Pine wood

Always been available for anything except house framing, eg: condo/office partitioning, and mainly in BKK. A lot of sawn lengths are used in furniture and cabinet making. Anyone using for house construction framing would have rocks in their head and termites for friends.

    Pine wood

NZ pine wood products have been sold here for many years: t&g sarking, doors, mouldings and ply. T & G Sarking was used extensively at the Choui Fong Tea Plantation restaurant and tourist area in Chiang Rai - opened in 2015.
  21. Ok, a different company then. I also have the 550w Longi panels but Earthed independently of both house and Inverter AC side to avoid tripping by small appliances: HW heater, iron, kettle etc. 2 x Earthing rods were driven into the ground specifically.
  22. As @KhunLA has done, we purchased a Deye inverter. The SUN-10kSG04LP3-EU model is a 3-phase 10kw hybrid inverter although I chose not to install ESS/battery storage immediately as I foresee major advances in this technology, hopefully within 12 months. We are spending approx 1,000bt per month PEA, a saving of ~3,500bt. Expected payback = 5.5 years. [Battery cost would extend payback period to ~7 years] Our home comprises a pool, spa, irrigation pump and split system a/c's, 2 fridges and the usual appliances. 3-phase allows heavy equipment such as pumps to run concurrently without compromise. A future well/pump/treatment system can also be accommodated. I have a large UPS for security system, E-lighting, computer/router etc. Have also run one fridge off it also during an extended night outage. Longi 550w tier one panels cost 5,750 ea., highly recommended. Deye inverters can handle unbalanced (3) phase loads which was a concern with Huawei, also an early contender. The other limitation with Huawei being bound to using their battery/charging system compared with Deye having all built-in and ready for plug'n play battery of any make or type.
  23. As an aside, did you deal with Lanna Solar owner, the guy I refer to as the 'mad professor'. I forget his name, Uwe __ IIRC. Are your PVCells fully imported or ones he makes locally, and are they Earthed independently of your house circuits? Dampness entering the PV to Inverter circuit may be enough to trip the breaker. Crossy is the expert and may elaborate or correct my 2 satangs worth.

    Beach

Likely washing out from shipwrecks in the Indian Ocean/Andaman sea over last few years. Severe weather and Andaman currents deliver it to Phuket beaches.
  25. As a fan of Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Scott Blade and Stephen Leather, I came across Robert G White and have just finished "Arctic Sunrise" - an extraordinarily believable thriller about the life of a Russian Bratva thug. Several twists and turns made it an un-put-downable read.
