  1. Did n't think you were allowed to call them that anymore? That's news to me.. Not allowed to call a cigarette a fag anymore.
  2. I heard on the radio that the fathers name was Harrold. Looks like Harrold will be paying for damages.
  3. Nice bar. The girl on the right wearing my dad's shoes looks lonely.
  4. You learn something new everyday. Never knew Thailand had bears.
  5. Wow, looks like the car park at Grand Avenue Residence Pattaya shortly after it was opened.
  6. Was the male teacher a lady boy? They think that they can do this weird inappropriate stuff.
  7. Not going to Songkla, that's a shame, got a few friends down there.
  8. Mmm, I might try it out.
  9. Aaaah, yes, that happens all too often.
  10. Appeared drunk ???? Anyway, I hope Bill and Ben are OK. They probably found a little Thai shop selling Chang beer and stopped for a drink.
  11. Wow, now I know why the lady didn't stop apologizing to me after she spilt some petrol on my bike, she was worried about getting a Slap. Bloody freaks out there getting violent over a few drops of petrol. Geeze, get some water and rinse it off.
  12. No tie....Probably, oh well, I'll stay business class if that's the case. Strange, some dress codes, gets out of hand at times. I did 3 cruises on Fairstar, 'the fun ship'. Had to wear shoes in the restaurant, I can do that and most other dress code requirements at different venues. What I would like to protest is restaurants here in Pattaya. Bruno's on Thepraya, was located just before Frasers on Thepraya, it's closed now...... I wonder why ???? Entry requirements were LONG PANTS, you are kidding me. I refuse to wear long pants around Pattaya. My gf liked that restaurant and I had so many arguments with her because I wouldn't wear long pants. The US you'd see signs, 'no shirt no service ', I agree, sensible dress codes, I'm all for it.
  13. Where are you reading in my comments anything negative? Why are you being hostile? Is English not your first language? Google translate will help you.. If you're a mind reader you don't belong here, it's obvious this mind reading skill you have has failed otherwise you'd be another Musk.
  14. Hey, nice hostile, antagonizing comment. Cheer up, it must be awful being a miserable person. You couldn't help yourself, had to add a pathetic moan, oh well lots of you whingers and whiners here. The photo was taken with a friend, a lady I knew. Have you got any friends Mr Miserable?
  15. Exactly, about bloody time, a positive comment. Stop making excuses, this article, complaining Brit is just giving fuel to the moaners. Find a solution, turn the negative into a positive. You can spend your whole life whinging and whining but there's always an option. A few years ago I had a flight from Angola to BKK, stop over Dubai, I forgot what happened but there was a 14 hour delay for the connecting flight to BKK. I found a tour guide, did some Dubai sightseeing. I could of sat in the corner and cryed for 14 hours because I hadn't seen my family for 1 month but I chose not to.
  16. I remember seeing some photos from the floods a few years back, photos of planes submerged at Don Muang Airport. Survarnabhumi was built on swampland, I reckon the rain was too heavy for it to drain.
  17. Hey, don't laugh, us rig pigs are always judged. I'm one who when traveling (I fly once a month) I dress comfortably. Always sport shoes and polo shirt, loose long pants. Most times I looked like a hobo but who cares I'm flying business class. Not one to dress fancy, probably comes with being an Aussie........ at home, around the house, thongs, shorts, singlet. I don't understand, my neighbor, he's a Pom, omg, everyday he wears long pants (never seen him in shorts) and a collared shirt around the house, it messes with my mind, who does that ???? I'm in heaven on the rig, mornings I wake up, jump into my freshly washed coveralls, then off to the morning meeting. Every few days I shave, glad I never worked in an office.
  18. Mate, sorry to hear. Give the airline a call for a clear answer. Hope it goes well for you, airline tickets, very expensive these days.
  19. Did they have to disembark using a mobile stairs? I'd say a slow process getting everyone off the plane. Emirates....... Love business class lounge, down the back of the plane, upstairs, nice sofa opposite to relax. Never got to the first class lounge, they wouldn't let me in. ????
  20. Yes, just noticed. I hated the sad and confused reactions, if you're confused make a comment, reply to me so I can explain. Thanks AN for getting ride of them, over the years I've probably only sent half a dozen. I reckon I'm the winner for receiving the most ????
  21. Free beer........ Awesome. When checking into the departure lounge at Luanda, we be given a few free beers, company provided. Good crew change, we were looked after, got a $1,000 a month bonus for working in Angola, didn't like taking the anti malaria tablets, couldn't sleep well.
  22. Are you employed through an agency. An agency will fly you on a budget airline if they can save a buck. Working for a company you're (I was Anyway) treated much better. I was working offshore, salary for 15 years, big company. 2016 things got bad in the industry, I got laid off, so I had to work for agency on day rate. It's very different working for agencies. 2019 I was working in Mexico, coming home, agency booked my flights (KLM), only a few days before departure, due to their lack of planning or their budgeting etc. Anyway, I couldn't upgrade, the flight was full, the agency booked me a middle seat. Worse crew change I've ever had. ???? Oh well, at least I could get shower and beer at the KLM lounge Amsterdam. These agencies are not concerned about your well-being, they only care about their commission they get for the days you work.
  23. These flight issues pop up daily, they have been since commercial flights started operating. The question that needs to be asked is how did this story make headlines. Move on, lessons learnt. Geeze I'm so glad my company books and pays for all flights, they never use these cheaper carriers. You get what you pay for. ???? BTW, this article below is a news worthy story, it's believed to be only the twentieth known case of heteropaternal superfecundation in the world ???? https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/woman-19-gives-birth-to-twins-fathered-by-two-different-men/news-story/1254544e1c0f4d7449ec2956ae51e85d?utm_campaign=EditorialSB&utm_source=news.com.au&utm_medium=Facebook&utm_content=SocialBakers
  24. Sad story. It's not a Happy World today. ☹️
