    I retired at 50 with 30 max qualifying years they now say 14 years are light. Let's see what they say when they email.

    People tell me the retirement visa is a better choice - but it needs an extra 400,000k.

    I retired at 50 and have been here without working for 15 years. When I left I was told I'd paid MAX and no need to pay more then I went to Government Gateway and saw I was short - I put in my CF83 form to HMRC and got the letter saying I could not top-up. A recent phone call was equally uncertain - I await the result.

    I must admit that I have thought I might give it a break or drop it down to 40mg. I started 20 years ago in the UK - yes to all those side effects but mildly. My father had several strokes so I'm extra cautious.

    20mg is a very low dose? I'm on 80mg PS I thought 40mg was the lowest dose?

    I'm on Diovan 160mg, which I cut in half - 80mg daily. Without it, I'm 140/95. With it, I'm 126/88. It takes around 10 points of each measure.

    They don't matter for either candidate - I don't trust them an inch, and after 2016, nor should you. Unfortunately, the public get bamboozled in the razzmatazz of both side. Trump gets shot, "he'll win easily", Harris takes over, "she'll win easily". Let's wait and see.

    No, it doesn't - it shows the biased MSM. I do agree Harris has lanced the boil somewhat for the Dems as Biden was just a liar (only God Almighty etc.). Harris was not nominated, and no one voted for her - it's a stitch-up, and many of the least discerning Americans simply will go like sheep with the MSM crowd.

    I understand that part went to my occupational pension. I'm trying to see if I can top up that portion, but it seems unclear. I have posted the two contradictory items previously - I'll post the email that I'm told they will send when they figure it out.
