  1. Morning Joe missed that one. The Trump Apologist's Playbook: Apologist: "He didn't say that." Reporter: "Here is the quote." Apologist: "I didn't hear that." Reporter: "Here is the quote." Apologist: "He didn't mean that." https://x.com/JoeNBC/status/1845957067531866433
  2. I really enjoyed Don't Move (2024), not a great movie but a good entertaining 'edge of your seat thriller'. Now on Netflix.
  3. Seems our resident “If there’s no link, it’s a lie” Trump sycophant has no idea or link either. Now our resident dictionary, he is inventing his own definition of “coup d’état” to suit his narrative. Merriam-Webster actually defines coup d’état as: “a sudden, decisive exercise of force in politics; especially: the violent overthrow or alteration of an existing government by a small group.” No military uniforms required—and no weapons, either. 4. Proven bankrupt six times, banned from business in NY, and barred from setting up charitable foundations. Ripped off investors, employees, and banks. Proven rapist and criminal with four arrests and dozens of indictments. If that's your idea of a 'proven leader,' then sure—he led the U.S. straight into hundreds of thousands of unnecessary COVID deaths through sheer incompetence. But if 'birdbrain' is your best critique, maybe leave the ornithology to the experts and stick to facts.
  5. Who would have thought that after dismissing Trump's classified documents case, Aileen Cannon is now officially being considered by him to be his Attorney- General. Aileen Cannon Being Considered as Donald Trump's AG Sparks Fury: 'Insane' - Newsweek
  6. Really! Katie Johnson says otherwise!
  7. You're clearly tangled in the weeds of Nazism and Fascism here, with Trump's immorality, authoritarianism, oppression, and totalitarianism. Any links to support your graphic?
  8. Right! 'Please post the evidence'. 'Because you say so doesn't mean it's valid'.

  10. What is a super dooper? Does your dispenser look like this : If not buy some, maybe easier. If it does a few suggestions: Pre-cut the tip: Cut the tip of the applicator with something sterile to make it easier to press. Use a dropper aid: Consider purchasing a dropper aid or adapter that helps squeeze the vial with less pressure. Warm the vial slightly: Warm the vial in your hands to make the plastic more pliable. Or get someone else to do it or if that doesn't work consult your doctor. Your doctor may have prescribed Vislube for you but it is not typically used for macular degeneration it is for dry eye, did he prescribe anything else?
  11. I previously used the single-dose Vislube, which was easy to dispense. However, I eventually discovered that Vislube caused me significant eye pain, a problem that seems to occur occasionally with others. Consequently, I switched to the more affordable carboxymethylcellulose or natural tear-type eye drops, which proved to be equally effective.
  12. I wouldn't like to spoil that record or waste your time or mine. Maybe start a Sichuan Food topic. Enjoy your 'SiChuan Peppercorns & Salt'.
  13. He wanted to run amok with it. Instead of using a sharpie to control hurricanes, he suggested nukes and questioned why the U.S. doesn't use them in conflicts. There was also controversy when he allowed a Mar-a-Lago member to be photographed with the nuclear football. On January 6, Trump urged his crowd to 'hang Mike Pence'—who had a backup football with him. Following those incidents the Pentagon revised its standing security protocols due to their security concerns with a past President. Trump’s lack of awareness and carelessness, including storing classified nuclear documents at Mar-a-Lago, showed he was not fit for such responsibility.
  14. Tuna mornay is a basic bechamel sauce with cheese, canned tuna, sweet corn and peas served with rice. 🙂 You do know how to make a basic bechamel?
  15. My soup is basically a Thai soup or 'Gaeng Juut' which typically excludes the potatoes. I also make a type of chilli con carne and tuna mornay for 'soft eaters', which is also good for freezing.
  16. You can utilize a slow cooker, rice cooker, or a trusty 100-baht 'multi-functional' pot with a lid on your preferred stove. My favorite soup includes finely minced pork combined with glass noodles formed into small 'luuk chin', and is cooked with garlic, onions, carrots, Enoki mushrooms, Chinese celery, Chinese cabbage, and potatoes, seasoned with salt and pepper, and simmered until everything is tender. (Note: The glass noodles help soften the pork balls. Cut the firmer vegetables smaller and test a sample for tenderness before completing the cooking process.) I typically prepare enough for two servings. The soup can be frozen for additional meals; occasionally, the potatoes may turn grainy, but this is usually not an issue. By the following day, the soup in the fridge thickens to the consistency of a hearty stew. There's no need for additional rice, as the noodles and potatoes provide ample carbohydrates, resulting in a very fulfilling dish. Should you require further details, feel free to ask!
  17. I have a fortnightly cycle. The frequency of the cycle is optional.
  18. I’d suggest more attention to the design—on my blender, food often gets stuck between the blade and seal. When someone else handles the cleanup, they aren’t always meticulous, so I end up redoing it. I’ve found stick blenders easier to clean; just run and rinse a few times. Still need to get one, though!
  19. Ah, I see we're still having trouble distinguishing 'Capital' from 'Capitol.' Allow me to clarify (again): Capitol refers to the building where Congress meets, while Capital refers to the city itself. DC is indeed the capital city, but the building in question is the Capitol—no 'a' in sight. Now, your thoughts are yours, really? Interesting, because they just so happen to align perfectly with the same narratives pushed by right-wing disinformation media. You know, the ones that faced billion-dollar lawsuits for lying about… what again? Oh, that’s right—the facts. As for the January 6th incident, labeling it an "armed insurrection" isn’t just based on one car with a weapon; it's backed by multiple arrests and charges involving weapons and assaults. But, when building arguments on shaky foundations, accuracy tends to be a casualty. Care to give it another shot? Maybe this time with a dictionary.
  20. Your thoughts aren’t always correct, especially considering your past mix-up between the US ‘Capital’ in DC and the ‘Capitol’ building. A bit more accuracy could really strengthen your arguments!
  21. Wow, thanks! I really appreciate it when someone makes a compliment—it's like a rare gem in a sea of questions! But seriously, maybe do your own research and watch the interview. Do you really need me to spoon-feed you the answers? It’s all there if you’re genuinely interested in what she said!
  22. If you can’t provide proof for your claim that Harris didn’t answer any questions, then you’re not criticizing—you’re lying. She addressed immigration, healthcare, and gun control directly. Exaggerating or ignoring facts to push your narrative doesn’t make it true; it just shows you’re not engaging honestly.
  23. "Q's and A's"? Cute, but Harris gave answers—immigration, healthcare, gun control—clear as day. Your 'no A's' take? Just false. And those 'F's' you tossed in? That’s not an argument; it’s ad hominem fluff. You’re dodging facts and labeling instead of engaging. So, if you're done grading imaginary tests, maybe try actually listening.
  24. Excessive canned food can be bad for your health: cans often contain high amounts of sodium, sugar, and other additives that may be detrimental when consumed excessively. many have a lining that includes bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical potentially impacting the endocrine system. the canning process is known to diminish the content of heat-sensitive vitamins such as vitamin C and some B vitamins. As someone with temporomandibular disorder (TMD), I sometimes struggle to chew large food pieces, and the frequent cleaning required for blenders can be a hassle. However, I've discovered that slowly simmering freshly chopped vegetables and minced meat on low heat yields an exceptional healthy dish.
