  1. Sensible authorities in many countries of the world realise that you cannot have enough forward visibility especially when driving at night and therefore ban front windscreen tint. I would suggest a 15cm strip of tint on the top of the windscreen would be an optimal solution.
  2. WHO stipulates "one dose to be injected intramuscularly or intradermally on days 0 and 3, if you've had an initial series. pep-prophylaxis-guideline-15-12-2014.pdf (who.int)
  3. Pretty obvious to me that Russia is losing this war. If they were winning they would not need more weapons...... from North Korea and Iran!
  4. I got the jump on you, I had my morning coffee 3 hours ago! That was my point.
  5. "Note the right wing press' inability to spell curricula". Possibly the linked article author wants to comply with recent conservative racial bans, not to reference historic roots from other cultures. We all know that the English language has a strong Roman Italian (Latin) influence on the English Language. Perhaps in the future, the US English language will be devoid of all references to its roots in other historic cultures (i.e. Danish, Italian, French, German etc). Eventually, if the clowns get their way, the US language may become unintelligible to other English speakers in the rest of the world.
  6. Perfect Storm! 1) TM are being more capricious and pedantic than in the past. 2) Massive influx of Russians who are now not welcome in Europe and other countries and are here avoiding the war. a. They are now extending their 45-day holiday Visa Exempt and looking for extensions and also Non O visas and others for long stay. b. Resident Certificates for bank accounts, buying cars and getting driving licenses etc. c. Also moving from temporary accommodation into renting property and buying houses which require changes in TM30 etc.
  7. Evidently Ukrainian pilots has been training on flight simulators in Ukraine for almost six months now in advance of a decision from the US. Inside Ukraine’s Secret Effort to Train Pilots for U.S. Jets...
  8. IMHO, most of those posters are savvy critical thinkers, and know that no tank is immune to anti-tank weapons. Though, these posters who engage interesting, intelligent and worthwhile discussion are not immune to the time-wasting posts of the same posters who continually troll this forum.
  9. The United Nations would dispute your narrative. Suggest you read the UN Charter. Charter of the United Nations - Wikipedia
  10. Despicable ? How so? What has Germany's history last century got to do with this?
  11. Maybe not "war hawks", maybe just "good men" doing something! “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,” -------John Stuart Mill, 1867.
  12. No! Russians dressed as "little green men" invaded the Donbas in 2014! "Little green men" were masked soldiers of the Russian Federation in unmarked green army uniforms and carrying modern Russian military weapons and equipment, who appeared during the Russo-Ukrainian War in 2014". No! "The Kremlin denied their official involvement or presence of their troops in the region, and they wore unmarked uniforms or disguised themselves as pro-Russian separatists". Little green men (Russo-Ukrainian War) - Wikipedia I agree with @jvs! You do should do some reading and not just accept the Russian propaganda!
  13. Gorbachev made this particularly poignant statement when Russia withdrew from Afghanistan in 1988. "The question of the withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan was a reflection of our current political thinking, of our new, modern view of the world. We wanted thereby to reaffirm our commitment to the traditions of good-neighbourliness, good will and mutual respect". "Any armed conflict, including an internal one, can poison the atmosphere in an entire region and create a situation of anxiety and alarm for a country’s neighbours, to say nothing of the suffering and losses among its own people. That is why we are against any armed conflicts. We know that the Afghan leadership, too, takes the same attitude". Gorbachev Statement on Afghanistan – Seventeen Moments in Soviet History (msu.edu) I cannot see Putin doing this with Ukraine. We can only hope a future Russian President will one day continue with Gorbachev's visionary changes to Russia's history of war and territorial land grabs.
  14. History tells us that Hitler's Barbarossa is more liken to Putin's Special Operation where Russia failed to take Ukraine, in particular Kyiv. This was due to same weather, logistical conditions, resolve of the defenders and arms support from the US, that occurred in Hitler's planned attempt of genocide and ethic cleansing in Russia. Yet, with escalation of war, Putin et al are doing exactly that with the nuclear armed West. Gorbachev didn't actually win the Afghanistan war either. Have ever considered directing some of your narrative against the perpetrators of this crime against humanity?
  15. Yet, Russia launched the Holodomor, genocide or "Final Solution to the Ukrainian Question" in the 1930's and now again with this Special Operation.
  16. The comparison of cases is like chalk and cheese! There is no evidence to suggest that there is, or that Biden has committed any crime. Whereas ,Trump's case is already in the criminal justice system. Biden is POTUS and has immunity from any criminal prosecution and could easily declassify all the documents in question if he wished. Trump on the other hand has the status of less than a US citizen. (At least the ordinary US citizen doesn't dodge his responsibility to pay taxes and support military service). As such he has no immunity from prosecution for his crimes, Also there is no evidence that he declassified his stolen documents when he was POTUS
  17. "Thrombosis does not develop overnight"? Yet Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a common occurrence on flights more than fours hours. In fact a seemingly young healthy personal friend of mine developed DVT after a seven hour overnight drive without a rest break. These are facts from a reality unaltered by "Orange" Kool-Aid.
  18. The CNN article in the OP says "20 Republicans ....voted for Rep. Jim Jordan in opposition to McCarthy during the third round of voting Tuesday". For someone who has previously been accused of failing to speak up publicly about important issues in his constituency, Jordan seems an unlikely candidate for GOP Speaker of the House!
  19. Reading your posts I recall my early adventures when I used to stay at a mansion in Soi Veerakit near Baanzan for extended periods in the early 2000's. Your posts bring back fond memories!
  20. The logic of your critical thinking is demonstrated by : ''If seat-belts work to prevent car accident deaths why are they not preventing car accident deaths?'' Obviously my statement is nonsense!
  21. I had a good laugh at this article, the only comment I could make would be Dmitry Peskov is self-projecting and gas-lighting in his usual delusional way....... Kremlin says Russia has made significant progress towards 'demilitarising' Ukraine "The Kremlin said on Friday that Russia had made significant progress towards "demilitarising" Ukraine, one of the goals President Vladimir Putin declared when he launched his war against Kyiv 10 months ago". Kremlin says Russia has made significant progress towards 'demilitarising' Ukraine (msn.com)
  22. There is a little expat community near Chumphon at Thung Wua Laen Beach. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1333712086758165/?ref=share Also just north of Nakon Si Thamaratt there are a few resort areas like at Sichon, Khanom and Black Elephant Mountain where expats are living.
  23. Yet, the 13th and 14th Amendments to the US Constitution directly address slavery and racism.
  24. Putin is ready for a cease-fire but trusting the other side is a problem for him. Even after Russia did everything by the book, citing the Minsk Agreement as the reason for his distrust but failing to mention other issues like the Budapest Agreement. Ukraine war: Vladimir Putin says deal may be needed to end conflict as he admits mistakes were made over mobilisation | World News | Sky News Why the Minsk Accords Failed to Bring Ukraine Peace - The Washington Post (googleusercontent.com) Ukraine war: what is the Budapest Memorandum and why has Russia's invasion torn it up? (theconversation.com) Obviously, the reason for his newfound generosity is possibly this.... Russian troops discuss mass exodus from frontline in leaked calls as Putin faces mutiny (msn.com)
  25. The PSA test will also show other possible prostrate issues such as BPH and infection and also UTI's.
