the National insurance was/ is a huge scam.The single childless worker pays most into this scam.The mandarins also cleverly wrote it to make you believe you pay less into it than you actually do..'The 'employers contribution'..would have worked for the first year of the scam..After this all employers would take this 'contribution' into account when working out the salary for any.every job..He would also show this 'contribution' to the trade unions seeking higher wages..
I was born 1944 and had to pay 44 years of national insurance..Most of the time I was an employee but had to pay some further years voluntarily to qualify for full sate pension..The courts of Europe decided that my pension is a government benefit.

Oh my God,the world is ending.

I agree. My argument lies with McEnroe & Connors actions being acceptable whereas Serena's are not.  

Hmmm.  Not so sure about that one.  Got to the end of Season 2, parked it since then, might have to revisit.
 
Just went through both seasons of The Frankenstein Chronicles starring Sean Bean (several references to the 95th Rifles it being set in same time period although Sean isn't Major Sharpe in this one).  Very well done series IMO, good acting, good storyline and vey good sets.

 IIMO your problem lies deeper than coaching from the sidelines, which (btw) is commonly regarded as acceptable

Season 2 is seriously weird. I don't remember season 1 being such Twin Peaks style.
 
Now I'm watching it mostly because of the Holly character. She is just the best.

Yes have to agree with you, they don't seen to even find talented good looking minorities anymore. Probably a shortage with everyone trying to be so politically correct.
 
Well, these are the modern times we have try and live with...…………………………...    

Its from the BBC so very PC has the obligitary multi racial couple ,lots of left wing retoric , gay footballer etc etc .very strong women running a left wing newspaper and of course a young reporter of colour.

The story seems to be ok ,dont know if it will hold my attention ,but it ticks all the boxes for todays tv . :)

You have been reading the wrong newspapers. Kinnock was originally anti-EU, but by the time he was elected Labour leader he had changed his position. In fact one of his first moves after becoming leader was to re-align the party's stance on the EU following Michael Foot's opposition to it.
He was later appointed as one of the UK's European Commissioners by John Major's Conservative Government. As someone with 25 years experience as an MP, with 9 as leader of a major political party, he would appear to have been an excellent choice. Do you have a problem with that?
