It is an O-A Multiple entry visa (if that overstates it, sorry ????
.
If you really have an O-A visa (not an O visa), airport immigration wrongly stamped you in for 90 days and you need to get the error corrected at your immigration office.
Edited to add: But even for 90 days, your numbers don't add up. If you entered on Dec 16, then 90 days would mean your permission should expire on Mar 15, not on Mar 12.

Only to defer the expense , that is all.
But I understand now, get it sorted sooner
All extensions cost the same, so the Covid-19 extensions actually add up to being more expensive, as they are only for 60 days each. Also consider that you need to go to immigration twice for each one (at most immigration offices).

I don't get how this can go unnoticed for longer than a few days. With my Thai bank accounts, I receive SMS and/or push notifications whenever money goes in or out. Sure, a bank employee could disable them for my accounts, but then my own transactions wouldn't trigger notifications anymore either. I'd also like to think that a low-level bank employee cannot fake whatever I get to see in my apps, so any large amount missing would certainly get my attention within a few days tops.

It sucks to be a migrant worker in Thailand. That's not a plight I'd wish on anyone!

All eyes on Israel, they will soon be able to tell us how well the vaccine they are using protects under real-life conditions, outside of a clinical trial.

I'm surprised that they gave you an extension that ends after the date your passport expires.

Phase 0, buy some vaccine and get it delivered, for starters. Maybe someone should tell them.

I only ever walked through, so I cannot say I'll miss them. With the caveat that whatever I will have to walk through next time might be even less appealing to me. ????

Not ashamed to ask for cash handouts wherever they might come from, this one.

I think they're being silly. Obviously the problem isn't with alcohol in itself, but with socializing while drinking. I've tested that on myself, hanging out drinking with friends (while it was allowed, of course). It's just not compatible with social distancing and cannot really be made "safe".
That's why I disagreed with the general alcohol sales ban during last year's first lockdown, and also disagree with banning alcohol in quarantine outright. I do agree with the bar closures, on the other hand, much as I dislike them myself.

Emphasis on "may", and I think at this point it's a BIG maybe!

At 7/11, I use the TrueMoney app, which is also useful to top up my MRT card cashless. It's also accepted at many other places. Elsewhere I use a Rabbit card (often), PromptPay QR code payments (occasionally) and Visa card payments (occasionally). Grab is linked to my Visa card as well, so my deliveries and rides are also cashless.
All things considered, I use cash a lot less. In Bangkok, I mostly carry it around as just a backup.

Could be 5 million, could be any other number. They've got it covered.

He has acquired Thai citizenship, subsequently renounced his American citizenship and yet he writes his prime minister in a foreign language. Weird.
As for his idea, we live in hope, but there's no proof that vaccinated people can't still spread the virus. There's also no proof that any given vaccination is effective against all present and future strains. At this point, this amounts to nothing more than wishful thinking.

20 hours, that sounds like a horrible experience. My longest ferry trip was 7-8 hours and that was plenty!

It tastes worse than detergent, it cannot be healthy!
I've seen plenty of people who must have been on Lao Khao for decades. So, while certainly deadly, it's a slow killer. Plenty of other things to die from prematurely, from motorcycle accidents to smoking cigarettes.

Many a Nobel Peace Prize has been wasted on prematurely celebrating peace with regards to Israel that ultimately hasn't materialized to this day. For this reason, I'd suggest to look elsewhere for the time being.
On the other hand, I'd imagine that Trump would throw a fit if his son-in-law received that prize instead of the one person who truly deserves it - him. That would make it worthwhile.

I've seen Vietnamese work and I've seen Thais work. Much as I enjoy staying in Thailand and among Thais, let's just say as far as workers are concerned, the Vietnamese run circles around the Thais. That they are ALSO cheaper certainly doesn't help either!

Just this once I will agree with Boris Johnson and wish Sir Tom a full and speedy recovery as well.
A truly remarkable guy, hopefully he's got a good few more years left in him!

The AstraZeneca vaccine seems to be quite crappy compared with other Western made vaccines, so it might be a good idea to consider other options.

I hope that's just a typo and they mean by the end of 2021.
They've done quite well so far, but if it really takes that long to get 70% of the population vaccinated, there's a real danger that Thailand will ultimately fall behind despite the great start.

Who can file the TM30 depends on the IO. I've been allowed to file it myself twice, at two different IOs, with just a booking confirmation from the hotel. If they later fined the hotel for failing to take care of this, I have no idea...
How to get started: visa exception to Education Visa ?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

In practice, that means that you won't get a locally issued Non-Ed visa for studying at an informal school, unless the school has connections AND you are willing to pay an extra fee to entice the officials involved to give you the visa. Specifically, the official fee for a non-immigrant visa is 2,000 baht, but you will most likely be asked to pay something like 13,000 baht.
