I dont often 100% agree with you but i Do about the foreigner needing to pay up. Thailand does need any selfish foreigners that drink and drive. There are enough Thais doing that already. Anyone drunk (or high) and driving should be fined those that hit other people should be jailed mandatory. All that BS about the 4 ppl on the MC yes its bad but necessity, drinking and driving is far worse then a family that needs to survive using the only vehicule they have. Different from a foreigner spending money to drink but too cheap to use a taxi.

But as a business there is a high risk the bill wont be paid. Besides its the club its problem not the hospital and the girls problem for not having an insurance 2 people who are more responsible then the hospital yet you put all the risk with the hospital. Let me ask you this do you have health insurance. I bet you dont.
-
I guess you are mistaken. If they cared more about people then money they would be broke and could not provide any service. This is a really expensive patient and i can understand the hesitance of the hospital. They could be out of pocket a lot money. So many people are against mandatory heathcare as its to expensive but expect hospitals to treat them free. Bit of a contradiction. Its easy spending other peoples money and telling them what to do when it does not hit them personally. In this case the fault is totally with the club and its insurance and its safety. But people make it a problem of the BKK hospital.

He asked if he can keep it yes he can. He does not have to use the email adress from his new provider at all. Maybe i misunderstood. What do you consider MOVING. Normally if you have a email adress from a provider you CANNOT keep it after you stop using that provider. But for stuff like hotmail and Gmail you can always keep them you can even set it to forward to your new email adress or even intergrate it with your mailbox in outlook.
-
That is right for email adresses that are connected to a provider. I believe Yahoo (but not 100% SURE) lik google en hotmail are free and can be moved.
-
From what i know you can always keep [email protected] its like google its not linked to your provider. Email adresses that have the name of your provider you cannot keep in general.

I don't really get the points of those who are anti cannabis. I mean nobody who is pro cannabis is for giving it to kids. Sure it can happen but its not as if kids could not get it before. I could get cannabis before and I am a foreigner. So to think that Thais could not get it its crazy. If anything, I pay more now than before (for better quality). Rules should have been made for driving and cannabis and rules should have been made for not selling to kids. But that seems so normal for me that those kind of rules are in place that I normally don't even mention it as some control is needed. But they messed up but that is not a good reason to be against cannabis, that is having a problem with the implementation. Lot of old timers who love drinking are dead set against cannabis you see it a lot on this forum. No not everyone who is against it is like that but quite a few still think alcohol (the more dangerous of the two backed up by science) is ok while cannabis is like some huge danger. Its time for people to really learn and see that cannabis is milder and better. Time to change the mindset of people and no cannabis is not without dangers but far less then alcohol. Best is not doing anything. But there just should be choice for people. -

No its not really the point, seems normal to me that they make laws to prohibit driving when under the influence. That is normal IMHO. Point being that i havent seen any stats on how much worse it got. I havent even seen news articles of people who are high and driving. (we seen all kinds of strange stories to put canabis in a bad light but not those). So i really was wondering how often does it occur. I am not against laws for this I am actually really for laws on this point. You cant be pro alcohol checks and not pro cannabis checks in traffic. -

Do you really think it was not available before. I mean before the local school kid dealer just had other places to buy it. I mean i could get it easily before. Now the only difference is that the quality is better and I pay far more per gram ???? -

Eh i meant numbers in Thailand because there are none as of yet and there have not been any cases in the news yet. So its all pure speculation. People act like its a huge thing but it is not. I am not advocating getting stoned and driving I am saying its not a major problem yet. If you really want to save lifes ban alcohol. Don't use the save lives excuse when your not willing to ban alcohol. Because otherwise its all a farce. -

How many accidents have you seen because of weed.. you can't even see it and it has not been reported. I guess your bias is showing. -

David your comparison is wrong because for driving drunk you need to be in a car behind the wheel and being over the limit. So its not about when you consumed alcohol That THC is detectable in the blood does not mean these people have used it in Malaysia. Most countries punish usage in their own country not in in a third country. IMHO levels should be checked to see when people used and then maybe punish them. But to punish someone to have a trace of an element in their blood is crazy. Now catch them smoking in Malaysia.. great, catch them with cannabis in Malaysia great. But just catch them with cannabis in their blood something that can be there for weeks so no way to know where it was used.. not so great. But me as someone who occasionally uses it would certainly not visit countries like that. Good thing this is in the news it will educate people. -

Cannabis is NOT a good thing for parties. Not something to take when you have to drive. At least you did the right thing and NOT drive. I have used cannabis a lot a lil and non at all. So I think im quite intimate with it. For me the only problem is the munchies. Besides that no problems. So i was a heavy user at one time and i stopped cold turkey without any problems. So i know about how it works. I have no concerns about cannabis besides of course kids getting it. But i think nobody ever wants kids to get their hands on stuff. Though I drank alcohol at 11 or so. Was in bars at 14-15. (those were the liberal Dutch days). I don't think that cannabis is really for parties (personal opinion). Maybe take it with some friends. But it certainly for me at least needs a totally different environment then the standard party. But your milage might vary. I seen more people do drugs in Thailand then in my country ???? -

We are talking about experience with cannabis. Have you used it.. have you been around it and so on. I thought you said you never used it ? So then you don't have experience about cannabis. -

Yes but we are now talking about you without any experience in the field. That is the other way around from your statement. If you are saying that people with experience can benefit from extra education great. But what about people like you who form their opinion based on some google searches ? Compared to those of us who have real experience and can use google too. You are someone who has NO experience just googles some research without knowing how severe or or how often it happens. While those with real knowledge are telling you how rare this is and then how mild it is. That is totally different. -

Not entirely true as one is small sample size. However most here are saying the same thing. Addiction of cannabis is a joke. While those with no experience are pointing to super rare cases and then even in those cases the addiction level is so light that after 10 days it goes better. Compare that with alcoholics that need years and years. I mean its gets easier for everyone with signs after 10 days and in a month its all gone 100% While technically that is an addiction its not much at all. -

Brian if that is true (and i believe you) your experience with your education must have been the same as mine. Great to have good preparation but working in the field is different and that is when you start to gain practical knowledge. I would find it really strange if it was any different with you. By starting to work as an accountant after my education was totally different then reading and studying for it. Most people have this experience. But maybe admitting this is a bit hard as it blows your argument out of the water. You cant just read something and then be an expert of it. Maybe history or something like that. But in general not really as there is a huge gap between book knowledge and actually learning / working in the field. -

Brian can i ask you about your education because it seems you don't know much about it education. I know about online learning and I know about going to school to learn. Then when in finished my education i started to work for real and found that it was good to have education and it helps you prepare but its far from the real thing. Most people I know who have studied have these experiences. So I wonder why yours is different. Nothing beats practical learning especially after having studied before. That is the way of the world no online school or any school can give you more knowledge then someone who has been in the field for years. An education makes it easier to absorb the knowledge and helps you in your field. But the real knowledge comes from being in that field a lot. Of course they should have put some rules in place. Stupid Thai logic. Can't say i disagree there. They should just have put an age limit on there. Its just stupid they did not do something like that. I all for legal cannabis but its not a good idea for kids (no drug alcohol included ever is). Also laws on driving are important i mean only idiots would get in their car high. Kinda the same people who drink and drive. -

Ehhh you do know what your quoting though ? After 10 days it gets better (talk about mild) You would be describing an alcoholic if this was about alcohol. We are talking about people who have had this for 11 years plus and smoke 5 times a day. That is huge and rare. And all they got after stopping this was some irritability and other stuff no withdrawal symptoms as with alcohol. Actually this shows more how not addictive this stuff is if anything. -

If its not more harmful then alcohol then put the whole discussion to bed because we can live with alcohol so if its less harmful living with cannabis should be easy. Now you got a point about the online purchase of cannabis but as its still rarer then alcohol getting someone to buy alcohol for you is still easier and faster. They should just allow cannabis to be used but put an age limit on it. Just like with alcohol. Done and ready. Im happy you did let go about the experience part not being needed to have more insight in topics. I really found that a strange remark. In almost all cases having some experience in the field your discussing about works. In general those with experience know better what they talk about so its valid to throw this at the feet of those with no experience and just an opinion. You fell straight into trap of not having experience when you brought up addiction as its one of the rarest things to happen. That kinda showed exactly how much you knew. Iam of the mind that they should either always have both alcohol and cannabis legal or ban them both. I guess that is an opinion many drinkers can't live with. -

Sounds minor especially if compared with alcohol addiction and stopping (death can occur). Yet we all know that there are few people who have these problems with alcohol. Its the same with canabis but for your argument you are taking the rarest cases and even then it pales in comparison with alcohol cases. So what does that kind of information teach you ? Maybe that you should stop demonizing cannabis and accepting that alcohol consumers are the true junkies and the true ones at risk. Once yo udo that and then realize that alcohol addiction is rare and real problems from alcohol are rare too. Then with your new found perspective you go back to the discussion after finaly realizing that alcohol is the real problem and then realising that even though its the most damaging in most cases it does not do much damage. Then you got a good indication how good pot is in comparison. The problem is that mainly old people seem to be against liberalization as they hate acknowledging that better then alcohol. We are expecting old people to change their views that is impossible. They have been brainwashed over time and it will take forever for those to get some solid understanding of cannabis. As a Dutch guy it was always available, and guess what i never seen someone attack others while high on cannabis, can't say the same about alcohol though. Plenty of violence. Addiction wise i did not see much from alcohol and cannabis. Hangover wise alcohol always won. Stupid action wise alcohol also always won as most canabis users fell asleep ???? As for the I dont need to use something to know, true. However those that have used both and been around users have a far better idea then those who only got their info from other sources. Its like thinking you can be an expert on fitness without ever touching a weight. Now sure there might be some exceptions but in general those with practical experience will know more. -

Oh but i done my research and i seen the Russian counter intelligence and their trolls. That is why i don't trust your information at all. I suspect you of being brain washed or something like that. Clear thinking people would always mistrust Russian information. One just has to look at the propaganda at their TV and watch Puttin and other lie all the time. So Russian information is Russian lies and they fabricate evidence. So I am sorry I don't trust you or what your selling. I think most rational people after hearing all the lies of Putin, his ministers, and seeing state propaganda on the TV or Russia would realize that information on that side is super bias and possibly manipulated. Now that does not mean that the other side is clean, id say they are more trustable but still not above manipulation. Still if i had to bet i would always bet on their info being less lies and bias. -

Maybe he is a strong supporter or Russia. Don't forget Russia is a master at manipulating media and so on. China is not bad at it either. Either side has an army of paid for trolls. I am not saying that the guy is a paid for troll. Just saying that there are a lot of people that are super bias and some are even paid for it to spread misinformation.
