Crime Buriram Village in Shock as Man Attempts to Have Sex with Livestock
Burma Bill replied to Georgealbert's topic in Isaan News
This sort of sexual behaviour is not uncommon - even in the UK! As a former forensic scientist in the UK Police Service, several bestiality cases were received in our laboratory. The victims were mainly cows and dogs. Sheep, horses and pigs were rare. -

Yes, but many years ago. My Nissan King Cab pick-up was side swiped by a Thai lady driver who lost control on a mountain road near Phayao up in Lanna. Fortunately she was insured and her company agreed to pay for the repairs to my vehicle. I was fully comp insured. I notified my insurance company which was also a major repair centre in Phayao. The wife ran the insurance side of the business and her husband managed the repair side with a team of engineers. Both were amiable friends and allowed me to observe the repairs being carried out. No problems at all and I was soon back behind the wheel!

Logic tells me yes. For example, a prepacked fresh cheese and ham sandwich will have the same barcode at check out whether in Pattaya, Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai or Khon Kaen. I may be wrong.

With respect, good, bad and much drivel is being written here in AN on this topic. Throughout most of my life (now 80+) I have relied on a paracetamol tablet taken with a hot drink (coffee, tea, squash, water etc.) to relieve the symptoms. Yes, I have had flu vaccinations and spent a couple of days indoors until the symptoms ease. This is my personal choice and it suits me after so many years. I hate facemasks and never wear them unless mandated to do so. No further comment from me.

Immigration Thailand Digital Arrival Card. TDAC
Burma Bill replied to CharlieH's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks for the information but with respect, I live in retirement in Cambodia so all this TDAC and other nonsense does not apply to me when it comes to visas. That is why I destroyed my form after clearing entry into Thailand - no further use. -
Immigration Thailand Digital Arrival Card. TDAC
Burma Bill replied to CharlieH's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Hi Sheryl. A few days ago I crossed into Thailand via the O'Smach land border crossing from Cambodia. I presented my passport with my TDAC printed paper form. (no smartphone). The IO scanned and stamped my passport. This was returned to me along with the TDAC form. I asked if he should keep the TDAC form and he said no. All had been completed. I destroyed the TDAC form. I presumed the relevant information was already on Thai Immigration's computer. -
Very strange it is only Thailand - the hub of Covid paranoia. There are no apparent resurgences in neighboring countries, in fact I Googled to research any other resurgences and there were none. Perhaps this Dr Thira releases scaremongering information to keep himself employed! Happy I live in Cambodia. I will remove my old mask from its shelf and brush off the dust ready to wear - just in case I have to visit Thailand. No further comment from me.

Why are you still in Thailand, not in Vietnam?
Burma Bill replied to JoseThailand's topic in General Topics
I am no longer in Thailand, or Vietnam - I'm in Cambodia, an easy and hassle free country with no financial or bureaucratic administration especially regarding visas. -

Her problem could have easily been resolved by just getting up and finding another cafe that did allow the wearing of shoes! -

Not absurd at all. I still use my old 3G Nokia mobile phone which suits me in making phone calls and text messages. None of this app rubbish. I use my personal home computer and Epson printer for all my needs, including TDAC registration form.
