  1. For reference: Highway 12 is still a 2-lane road as it traverses Nam Nao National Park between Chumphae (east) and Lomsak (west). Entrance to/from the park is controlled by checkpoints and barriers. Route 12 is definitely not a Highway here.

  8. Yes indeed, Cambodia being one. Never alcohol bans on religious days. Our only alcohol ban this year is for General Election Day this coming July.

  10. With the greatest respect, at that time the yellow shirts and their military support were the terrorists killing innocent people. No yellow shirts - no problems.
  11. Interesting - from the photo it looks as if he was transporting "round" cabbages. Chinese cabbages have a distinct shape: Whatever, cabbages are widely grown in Chiang Mai Province as they are in the Lomsak area of Isaan. I do not think the cabbages had actually been imported from China.

  14. Thank you for your observations and the same here in Cambodia. Thailand - the hub of Covid-19 and masks! For reference, I have recently had my sixth free vaccination (fourth Pfizer booster) at my local hospital in Siem Reap, courtesy of the Royal Cambodian Government. I never wear a mask these days.

  16. Set up local pig farms among the hotels and restaurants where the food waste will be most welcome!!
