  1. Precious? did the boat also have lifebuoy ? appears in this case they used a live Boy instead. Was it lost in translation "Throw in the Live Boy"
  2. I tried warning a friend not to build a house with his GF, didn't listen lost it ', and then he did it AGAIN ! I advised him to stop buying her gold, but then this time married her, House built, and furnished, car and motorbike her name. Yep took the lot. You can warn him but the purple head won't listen, no ears and only one eye.
  3. Wow you must get a passport often then. The OZ embassy has Very specific rules on the photos. Immigration don't worry so much. Not sure what being in Ratchaburi has to do with passports.
  4. Or it could belong to a dead friend, or two. 'I have Nothing to Declare, honestly Sir '.
  5. Yes good idea, there is no special training needed, it is surprising how many Thais are willing to live in, no rent to pay, and take care i.e. Feed, shower, and dress someone. we i.e. my Wife, found a lady to call in on our friend every 2 days for just 4k a month, as he eventually needed 24/7 care She eventually moved in with him, so she was 3k a week better off, no bills to pay ether. Ask around your friends wives if you can.
  6. Be careful with that they have to be laser printed.
  7. At least the Brits don't all have a fanny, and can find Green Fire exits, not stupid Red ones as in yanky land, And the best driving skills.
  8. I was replying to the OP, not talking about my own circumstance,. One is skirting the law not ''You're''
  9. I just did a google search of 'testing stations' in your area, loads of 'em !
  10. Keep your eyes open their everywhere look for that sign. Tyreplus also do the testing, normally these places like you to by extra insurance from them, i do, 7k a year num 2 insurance.
  11. Normally 200b for the car test, and then to get the tax 'sticker', so I doubt it would cost much more to get a new book and plates, as most of these testing stations go to the land transport office everyday i'd say 1,000k tops + govt charges.
  12. Depends if you get stopped at a road check on the way home.
  13. And so they should be, I thought 'he' was a princess who was going to send me millions.
  14. Yes I'd like to know more about these "Thai agencies" could come in useful
  15. Very true but was the victim not armed? 'coz that's normal for debt collectors to do here.
  16. Ehm lealy ? Never ? according to my list it is. so never is false info.
  17. I'm not sure how long it is 3-4 years, but the reg plate will be cancelled and they can issue it to another vehicle, I.E you will have to re-register the vehicle, new book, new number, one of those testing stations displaying the yellow gear wheel should be able to do this, if you don't want to go to the land office.
  18. I presumed the OP "coming back from Australia" had an OZ passport, which is why I posted a Picture from an AUSRALIAN PP. jeez
  19. Do they not have a list in English what you need, most do.
  20. Not strictly true, I did not get 'a letter' with my new OZ pp in Thailand, just a stamp in my old one. No problem at Immigration or Banks when I showed up with both, and I put the new number in myself.
  21. Many set up a company, 49% owned by you and 51% by a few shareholders, you are the majority shareholder.
  22. Only 2 banks on that road a Pink one & a Navy blue one.
