Better to change your visa to NON-B.  Ask your agent, if he is good he knows how to do it. It is possible for some "fee".

Staying here after divorce with this stamp is illegal.  You got your visa based on marriage,  when marriage ends, visa follows.

Immigration will never know, if nobody inform them. But there is some small risk to have much bigger problems than switching your visa to NON-B.

i think changing my non-o to non-b can be done by only agent. because i never heard of in normal ways. then what can happen when im doing my work permit or else? so thats a higher risk. Im still with plan A: wait till july or any suitable time before that. leave and get a new non-b and come back

    thnx

Yes, but unless like this poster, you get remarried, then you'll have to find a new reason to justify your extension.

As you use an agency already, check with them.

Also, seems you and your wife, about to be ex, are on reasonably good terms. Why the rush to divorce? Can't see that benefits anyone unless you/she has someone else. If that's not the case, why not stay married till nearer your extension time? Just a thought.

well if i remarry all im going to do is leave the country and come back and marry and get a new non-o visa. simple

my main plan is stay till july and leave the country get my non-b from work and come back. My company did all needs. we even have 100K covid insurance.

    thnx

like i said in the main post, because of her position in the government. They need to report themselves (everything about themselves) every year. and its the end of this month. Otherwise she was ok till next july.

  4. So.. me and wife decided to divorce after 7-8 years marriage. No kids.

I did my 1 year extension non-o using an agency last July. they are also doing my 90 days. (did first one)

Im also working with my non-o visa and have work permit.

if im not mistaken, after divorce i need to go to immigration and tell them about the story and leave the country, right?

What if i stay until july till my visa ends? Im not doing anything with immigration... official things.. my my workpermit renewel is next year september. My wife said let do it quietly. She will not inform the immigration and etc. I also know when we divorce no one reports to immigration too. So after my visa ends i can just leave the country and get a non-b and come back. Of course if things are better with covid till next july (2021)

Is there any chance i can do this? will immigration know i got divorce from the amphue we divorced?

Do i have any other option to continue staying in thailand without leaving after divorce.

PS: because of her very high position in thai government she wants to divorce like coming Monday. Because she must report her status and everything at the end of this month.

thanks a lot @ubonjoe and others...

Just because you initiate a transfer via online banking that does not mean the money "actually" leaves immediately or within hours.  It will depend on the policies of your bank, what transfer system you are using (i.e, SWIFT, BACS, ACH, etc) as to how fast the funds actually transfer.   And yes, if the transfer system you are using routes the funds thru an intermediary bank then that intermediary bank might slice off a fee as the funds  flow thru them.

What transfer system are you using with your home country bank to initiate the transfer?

    normally online

Expect your 1 week delivery time is predominately caused by your home country sending bank being slow to "actually" send the money.     And since you said a seriously huge cut is occurring that sounds like you are allowing (knowingly or unknowingly) your home country bank to accomplish the exchange/conversion on their end where their exchange rate will be at least several percent lower than the Thai bank exchange rate.   And then there is the Thai bank receiving fee which is 0.25% (Bt200 min, Bt500max at most Thai banks such as Bangkok Bank, Kaiskorn Bank and KrungThai Bank since you mentioned them....see snapshots before from their receiving fee schedules.

Bangkok Bank in-Thailand receiving fee....pretty standard for Thai banks although it does vary a little like it maybe 0.25% (Bt300 mim, Bt500 max) at one or two banks.

K-Bank has same 0.25% (Bt200 min, Bt500 max) receiving fee.

    KrungThai Bank....same 0.25% (Bt200 min, Bt500 max)

thanks for the info but i must say its nothing with the bank back at home. Normal transfer is done via internet. So the money leaves my home bank in 1-2 hrs time.

about the rates you posted. Let me tell you this someone transferred me $300 it makes something around 8XXX baht. I got 7600 or something like that. Plus i really have other bad experiences with Bangkok Bank.

So i really dont want to use and dont suggest.

you mentioned about time. Every time when money transfers me from my home country, it takes 3 days. No more, no less.. every time. same banks! but when i tried with BBL .. 1 week minimum. So its surely nothing with the bank at home. Its all about middle bank. BBL's middle bank is their own branch in London.

  7. Hi guys,

Trying to do my TM30 visa house owner webpage. House owner is my wife.

Today i did register here for my wife in 5 min with no problem: https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/

first email they sent to me saying to confirm my e-mail. 2nd one was telling my username and password.

So i went to my profile there and downloaded the TM30 form there filled it in and moved to the main page to register the foreigner.

There what ever i do i just cannot save the info! always keep saying there is something wrong with section1 info input. I really dont know whats wrong. i did filled in all the questions or sections, i even uploaded the formed i downloaded (although there is no clue its ok or not because it doesnt say anything after input the file.

any one has experience with this? is something wrong?

    thanks

A TM30 lodged for another property/province and a prior entry into Thailand would no longer be valid. As soon as you moved or re-entered the country, another TM30 would be required.

Depending on the office you use, a TM30 may/may not be required for an extension of stay. If it is required, you may have to arrange for a TM30 to be done prior to applying for an extension, in the worst instance pay a fine.

    thnx

  9. How can i know if i have ever done TM30 or not without going to IO?

Well, many will say you should know it because you are the one doing it. Actually this is what happened: When i was working in Chonburi I strongly believe my house owner did it. But this was like 6 yrs ago. And now im living in Nonthaburi. And i didnt do TM30 for years now. I do remember my old house owner mentioned about TM30 but cannot remember she did or not. most likely she did because i remember she had a paper from IO. i think that TM30 was with that papers. But again, not sure. So how can i check if i have TM30 or not without going to IO from 6 years ago.. Or does it still in the system?

If i dont have any TM30 in the system, what will happen when i go to do a new one? So far i was living in a rented house. I think only chonburi house owner did TM30 6 years ago. Then thats it no refresh TM30 for 6 years. Also all these times i had non-o multi and doing 90 days visa run.

PS: can someone put the link for the house owner can do your TM30 online registeration? I know thai people can do your TM30 online but dont know the link. i will ask my wife to do our house and register my TM30

    thanks

  11. Hi, 2 questions:

on my 1 year extension multi-o thai wife visa:

    - there is no stamp saying THAI WIFE, why i dont have that?

    on your visa extension:

    - there is no mentioning where it is from, which immigration.. ex: bangkok, khon kaen. I have a stamp saying its done in Khon Kaen.. why you dont have that?

    all city visas are differnet?
