Hi,
Today one of my friends called me (he is french) and told me that he found a solution.
He contacted with a government run kind of visa agency (or maybe working with government) and they told him now thailand is doing something new because they need money. If he pays 2 mil baht cash OR pays monthly some amount, government will give him 10 year visa. Now i coudlnt understand clearly but i think he said something like elite visa. He is also married and on non-o. Before you guys ask yes its a well known visa agency.
So i was wondering if this is real or not? Or there is something like this?
thanks

This sounds strange to me...that is, Bangkok Bank would not show on your passbook the total amount direct deposited from your employer.
You sure you didn't mean to say the "Net" pay arriving your Bangkok Bank acct is less than Bt40K because of deductions your employer make such as income tax/social security which occur before they transmitted your Net pay to Bangkok Bank.....deductions that occur on the employer's end; not the bank receiving your direct deposit pay.
And then whatever automatic transfers/payments you have setup with Bangkok Bank are really separate issues....and would show on your passbook "after" your Net pay direct pay transaction was reflected. The IO would even care about those transactions because they could be for anything and everything like paying your electric bill, transferring some money between accts, just the typical transactions everyone does....transaction that typically eat up most of person's monthly pay....then next month's pay comes in and the cycle repeats.
Hi, yes in 12 month statement everything can be seen. All auto payments and so on. In my case its like my new house, power-water bills and some others. She didnt care my salary slip and also the letter from my company telling my salary. She didnt check my mountain high documents (lol) all she asked me was to show her 40K in the bank statement. She want to see that like in total amount right there! she doesnt care how it splits or else but the total is there. Like i said she just want to see 40K after all payments. Like what you have in your hand after all your payments. She didnt even add up and could see its more than 40K but she didnt care. I talked with the big boss at some point the big boss was like ohh yes you are right, but then the IO talked to him in private. then he was again no. this was Khon Kaen IO btw.
PS: the tax and SSO payments are also shown on my payment slip. They said they dont care about payment slip at all.

Did you go to the bank and get them to print 1 year of bank statements showing all the detail and listing the deposits of over 40000 baht which could be correlated to your pay slips?
Surely when you deposit a sum it is reflected as such on the statement as a transaction record.
they want 1 year bank statement and salary slip and a letter from your company as an evidence of your income. Also my work permit of course. But they didnt even check them. just asked me to show 40K in my bank statement. And still a NO even though i showed them my salary is more than 40K

Sorry to hear about your troubles and denial by IO for such a petty reason.
Did you not request a 12-month bank-statement from your Bank? Such statement shows ALL transactions on your bank-account, so if Bangkok Bank deducted a transaction fee its possible that would have been shown on the statement.
But indeed it is not the amount that is transferred to your account that counts, but the actual amount you did receive on the account. That's one of the advantages of using TransferWise to transfer money as you know beforehand exactly how much THB you will receive with no surprises or deductions for bank-fees.
Hi,
Thanks. yes 12 month bank statement. But still they only cared about the money when every auto payments done. Well its like paying my new home, water-power bills and etc.

Maybe earlier reports in this thread clarify this, but I haven't gone back to check......
How can they deny a non o multi -- deny in what fashion? If the visa is still valid, then you get stamped in for 90 days (with few exceptions, like Interpol has a warrant out, etc). Of course, whe're now in the land of no more 90 day stamps, due to border closure.
Then, are you saying you got an agent to do a "bogus border run", whereby Imm stamped you out, then right back in for 90 days?
Actually, this would be a worthwhile service, and one Imm should have evaluated on its own merits. Hopefully the fee wasn't too high -- and hopefully if such a service for "bogus border runs" exists, such agents can be readily identified, as such agents are NOT in the same ilk as those sidestepping financial requirements.
Hi,
They can deny like in my case. My salary is more than 40K and shown in my payment slip. Although when i got my bank statement its was less than 40K. Reason for this is my bank auto payments. And for some reason Bangkok Bank dont show this payments but show what you have at the end of it. So they denied. I know payment salary is the real thing, well seems its nothing for both Khon Kaen IO.
Then this agency highly recommended from one of my friends at the office came up. I paid them around 29K and after 1 month they gave me NON-O 1 year visa.
The thing is, you cannot do anything at all if they say NO once. She didnt look at my documents, my nothing! she just asked me show me 40K on your 1 year bank statement. Thats all. then she said no your salary is not 40K. I showed her my salary slip she says it means nothing, bank statement is the thing. I showed her my auto payments and all too. I talked with the big boss, still NO. what else you can do?! left the IO

Well they denied my non-o multi wrongfully. I used an agent and the magic happened. If you need help contact me.

Play safe. you have a new passport
just go to the IO where you want to stay and tell them or ask them. You have nothing to lose wasting your 1 hour then making a big mistake.
-
just go to the nearest police office. If you were in thailand like 2 years, just tell them what you want, they will help you to fill a form.. sit...5-10 min you have it in thai. I think you can get it in english too if not you need to translate it via your embassy. (i might be wrong)
If you are new to thailand like for a few months they will contact to your embassy, it might take a month to get your clearence.
My friend did it last week. took his 5 min to get it from the police office.

I dont know the friendlies but stay away from nonthaburi, sri racha IOs

Hi
If you are working and have a work permit, you have tax ID already. Well, most likely. Some work places do that auto. i mean, they will do dediction from your salary. Thats what my company is doing (im not a teacher) or at the end of the year mostly January school will give you some paper work, you take them to the tax office your school working with. Here be careful you need to go to the tax office of your school not any tax office you want. All you need is your passport and work permit and that docs school give you. (again if they dont dedict from your salary). Also if im not mistaken you cannot get your visa or work permit without showing your paid tax docs.
So if this is your 2nd year there and you still have work permit and visa that means school is paying your tax. You can learn your tax id again from your school's tax office. just go there show your passport and work permit they will tell you your tax no. Ask them to create an online account. It will take 5 min. Now you can do whatever with your tax via online at home. You can print or see details. You dont need to change your tax id from job to job. When you get one, it stays with you forever. My tax id is 14 years old now, never changed.
Now, i believe the school accounter is also a teacher and doing this for her/his extra job. And dedict some general ammount from your salary and yes it will be more than you should pay. Now this is not a problem because after january you will get it back with a krungthai bank money check. It should take 2 weeks to get this. To get the money you need a krungthai bank account. Yes, they will not give you that easy lol. If you havent get any checks yet, there is something wrong with your address or your checks are coming to school.
im not sure they will give you your tax number if you call them. But tax call center is really really great and helpful.
I hope this info helps you.

im not surprised. I had non-o multi and never extended it before. Both Nonthaburi and khon Kaen IO refused to extend my visa for.. actually not the right reasons. Nonthaburi told me my visa is expired ( which is wrong because it expired on 9th May which is under amnesty and cannot expire) Khon Kaen IO was ok with the 'expired' visa but it seems they didnt study Math in the school and also in police academy because they just made mistake with my salary and numbers. And they didnt accept even though i proved them they were wrong. So basically if they say no after checking your docs in 5 min, just say ok and leave.

well im not a teacher but working. I have work permit and non-o 1 year visa. I did my visa extension via agency because of IO's mistake and being stubborn.
I dont know why you said illegal by the law. If you have the right visa.. then should not be a problem. if you dont have the right visa or qualifications, then its amnesty or not your doing it wrong from the beginning.

Im using Krungthai, Bangkok bank and Kasikorn. 14 years of experience showed me STAY AWAY from Bangkok Bank. Worst bank in thailand in my opinion. For many reasons, local or international. I highly recommend Krungthai. Kasikorn is also good.
For your case im not sure which bank will do faster and easier. But for general seriously stay away from bangkok bank. Even thai people dont use it anymore.

No , not really. Extensions are not the correct way to go if you intend to live here full time.
The correct visa to apply for is residency.
https://immigrationbangkok.com/thai-permanent-residence-visa/
People extending year in year out are just the same as visa runners. No better or worse. Using a loophole in the law for convenience.
Personally , that doesn't bother me but the Thai Visa holier than thou schadenfreude brigade just love to see others not doing as they do suffer . What possible pleasure they derive from this I cannot imagine. Very sad.
well they forgot to mention you have to pay 970.000 baht.
also i think you are not right about this too. There are many types of visas and purpose. Non-o 1 year extension is one of them. Extensions are correct up to you living situation or life style. For example.. if you have no other place to go in the world your suggestion is, yes correct. But if you are a person who both living in 2 countries or else but have a thai wife/husband you have another option. Or you have a thai national child.. you have another option. etc. All these type of visas allows you to stay or live in thailand. its all up to your intentions and what you have.
For your suggestion you need almost 1 million baht and a job here or wife or a company. So why i pay this amount instead of i can do my visa for 2000 baht every year? Also if i do your way, its better to be a thai citizen.. cheaper, easier and all the same things you need to do.. thai language, interview.. etc.
So, its actually not the right way to do. There are RIGHT ways to do for your situation.

10 hours ago, Sheryl said:Bear in mind that while there is no law against border runs, ME visas were not designed with the intention that they would be used in that manner; they are designed for people who make multiple separate trips here, with genuine gaps in between, and the "border run" approach is basically a loophole.
So no reason for Immigration to view inability to do border runs as a legitimate problem; from their standpoint people living here full time should get annual extensions of stay. "I can't afford to meet the financial requirement" will get zero sympathy as the government does not want retirees here who lack the minimum required funds.
I didnt read 6-7 pages of comments. I read the post owner comment and yours. And some others.
the very first moment i read the post owner, I was like wait a minute, its nothing with the IO or government. NON-O multi has a purpose. which is as Sheryl said. It is for the people who are married with a thai national and coming to thailand and going back to their country
About many years ago. i was very first person who posted that phnom penh cambodia border stopped doing 90 days thing (non-o multi) and many people said im wrong, something's wrong with my visa or IO is wrong. actually no. they are right. The very new head of the IO officer there ( and yes it was his 3rd day on the job) told me im abusing the visa. I hate it but yes he was right, I was! When i was mentioned this in my posts people said im wrong again, they said IO cannot say or do anything if i have the visa. Well, i say again.. NO. they can and actually they have all the right to do so. I know im the one also using this multi non-o gateway but still i know its wrong and yes its abusing the visa. That day when the officer say he will let me to this only for this time but not again, i was like f you but also i was like.. well buddy you did your job. When i cross the border i told this to the arrivals side and even the IO there surprised and she said he is new here and dont know things and she gave me her business card and told me if i have a problem again call her. Well.. no need to make it longer because now we all know there is no way to do 90 days at that border and also some other borders too.
So, i really dont agree with the PO. to be honest, yes you are abusing the visa non-o multi which is wrong and illegal (i think). BUT i also agree that marriage visa should change and be more easier. I mean why i have to have 40K income or 400K in bank? thai people dont have that but they can marry! lol
anyway this is my opinion, thanks

Because at that time i did not have 400k in a Thai bank account to apply for an extension. As soon as I was able, I transferred the money into my account which was on the 11 July. Under normal circumstaces I would have left country and come back.
Hi, i have non-o multi and expired on 8 may. Well not but IO thinks yes. So im denied for both 60 days wife visit and 1 year extension (even though i had every paper work in order) from Khon Kaen and Nonthaburi immigration. I told them and proved them that they are wrong, but we all know a no is a no from IO.
I used an agency which my friend used in my office (he highly recommended to me, thats why i used it. I never before) and got my 1 year visa. If you need help, send message to me.
good luck

I go to the main HomePro at Gnamwongwan. For specialty switches, even nice USB outlets, I would look at banggood or lazada. I replaced all my can lamps with Panasonic LED lights, from HP, and am very pleased.
Are you repairing cracks or a hole?
hi, thanks for the advice.
cracks actually but not big or many, the house is only 6 months old. just finished. But i want to paint it for decoration, you know. better color.. something modern.. but i noticed i have some small cracks like 3 to 5 cm. Not deep just cracks because its a new house. I checked if its the paint or the wall, to be honest hard to tell. When i use spatula paint comes out (yes its really bad quality paint) But still can see the crack so it must be the wall. some of them are near the window so i believe its the rain and outside and inside. They are not deep too, easy for spatula
so its Gnamwongwan then. I also believe they have paints too? Also can you tell me what should i expect for price (switches) i think they are about 300 baht?
PS: actually i just saw a big one. its like 1 meter. its on ceiling and wall corner. I believe it happened when i connected my internet cable, drilled it.
thanks

Hi guys,
So i have decided to re-paint and also change some electrical switches at my home. I want to try this wifi or smart switches for some part of my mouse. I went to homepro near central westgate where my home is. Its a really big one but still they dont have options with switches. So if you know any good shop where i can have some options to chose, please let me know with full detail location.
Also need some advice in paint too. Homepro has lot of brand and colors including the one i want. So im looking for a really good brand which will protect the walls from scratches and so on. Also something i dont need to mix thinner or water. Also need a good and easy plaster. For plaster i need ready plaster (no need to mix anything again). Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks a lot.

If you need an agency, contact me i will give you my agencys contact. They also did my friends visa 2 times, thats why im using them. my first time in 14 years using agency. They are really slow but doing it. It takes 1 month for me my friends 1.5 months. But they do.

i really think this is a important matter.
For the people already in thailand i think no need. thats for sure. But there are lot of people outside of thailand and they are waiting to get their non-o and come to thailand.. so i think they must take the test. Especially ppl from USA or Europe.
I think who ever leave thailand or coming to thailand should take the test.
Thailand is really lucky about covid. Although its a very international country we dont have many case. Well, lets keep it that way

this is what happened to me:
i have non-o multi + work permit and 14 years in thailand
I went to Khon Kaen and Nonthaburi immigrations:
Nonthaburi: They told me they will not do anything with my visa and i have to go out and come back again to thailand. Reason is my visa is expired. Asked them if i can extend my visa due to my work with non-o, again no i cannot. cannot extend visiting family 60 days here too
Khon Kaen: they told me expired visa is not a problem they can help. When i went there they told me my bank statement is not showing 40K but actually it was. I showed them my government salary slip with more than 40K income, again no. they told me they only care the number on the bank statement. I told them when my income comes i pay things auto and thats the reason. Again, no. Asked them if i can extend my visa due to my work, no. Im pretty sure they did a maistake about salary but we all know no is a no. cannot extend visiting family 60 days here too
Went to Chang Wattana, asked them if i can extend my visa due my work or salary. They told me cannot due to work need non-b. Though they told me expired visa is no problem can help, bank statment is no problem here (!!) BUT this time its my house location is problem, my house is in nonthaburi.
Both Khon Kaen and Nonthaburi IO suggested me to go to chang wattana and extend my visa due to my work, but chang wattana says no. This also confirmed by my company HR department. They tried for others but no success.
I was ready to go out of thailand after sept 26 but one of my friend in the office suggested me an agency which did his visa. I talked with them, she told me it will take 2 weeks for my 1 year non-o visa to get. for my situation it will cost me 29K (price up to the situation) I gave the green light, goy my bank book, atm card, passport and copy of my wife ID and house book. After 2 days sms came and saying 400K in my bank account. 2 days later its gone lol. Well, in 3 days it will be full 1 month and i will take my passport back this friday or next wednesday. so it was not 2 weeks. they are also doing my 90 days reports as well. They told me my passport is in khon kaen immigration, i was like LOL now i understand why they said no to my correct bank statement.
contact me if you need their contact info.
that was my story of my extension non-o multi expired visa.

i dont want to stress you but khon kaen and nonthaburi immigration told me i cannot get visiting family 60 day extension because my visa is expired while we are in amnesty (8th May). Also i never extend it before. Im on non-o multi I know they are wrong but when they say no, its a no.
just check again your visa and rayong immigration again.
PS: i paid 29K to an agency and they are doing my 1 year non-o now. its taking time but i know they are doing it because my friend suggested to me and he did before. im in 5th week now and i think i will get it this wednesday or friday.
