  1. I had the van version to carry my amps and PA in. Good for a bit of lay down dancing in the back as well. THEN
  2. OK, sorry Joseph. Will be a good boy from now on.
  3. Do they not burn the crop BEFORE harvesting to make it easier to cut. And is that why the Government have threatened to fine any sugar factories which buy 'burned' sugar cane. Rice fields are set alight AFTER harvesting, the only reason I can see is to provide some nutrients for the next crop, as they do not burn everything.
  4. Don't really want to read through five pages, so can anyone tell me what I shall need, live here for years on Retirement Extension. Used to fill in that silly TM6 and was so pleased when it stopped, although 2 or 3 minutes with a ball-point an hour before landing didn't make much difference. So now, returning in February after 3 weeks in UK with a Re-Entry Permit, what will I need please?
  5. You're joking. 500 gms for Bht 150. That'll do for 50 pizzas ie One a week for a year.
  6. I would have brought my foodie lifestyle from Manchester, but cannot find Holland's Steak & Kidney Pudding or Boddingtons beer here. 555
  7. Chicken is chicken, pork is pork, onions are onions, veggies are veggies, whether from a local market or Lotus/Makro. It only becomes a Thai or Falang meal when you put it in the pan with different flavouringgs.
  8. If your IO is a good one, he'll accept the Combination Method. I have 420k in the bank, and transfer 35k per month, which totals over 800k.
  9. The last person executed in Thailand was on 18th June 2018 (Gemini AI)
  10. Are you saying that a couple need 2 -3 M per year. Rubbish. Me, the Mrs, son at Uni, working daughter with 4 year old. 250 sq mtr house, diesel Vigo & City paid for, as is pool-less house. Cook mostly here, I like my English stuff, moderate beers, mostly do my own garden with help from relatives. Live on Bht 35k per month, with one trip to UK per year.
  11. This was done with a quill, and you can tell who signed it.
  12. My four year old can write better than that
  13. Ha ha ha Now this is a proper signature
  14. I was not suggesting ordering from Honda, although I am sure ANY Honda dealer can order ANY part for ANY of its models. I am suggesting getting the old one recovered for a lot less money. OK, a trip to P'lok.
  15. And didn't Charlie III get a proper fountain pen which did not work and he was heard to utter an expletive?
  16. The original covering was 'leather' laminate on the parts which the body toched, arms, seat, back, leg rest. The other was matching PVC. After only 3 years the plastic turned a weird shade of blue., and the 'leather' came off its backing espcially where my sweaty arms rested. Now it is back as good as ever.
  17. Puppy dog, now a hound!
  18. He said earlier that it is a plastic tank sitting on a patio area.
  19. He can't even use a proper fountain pen, just a kid's felt tip jobby.
  20. I agree that our beer CAN be a bit on the tepid side, that's how it should be, but repressed? No way.
  21. No. Just my passport. I do now have Pink ID, and got my Gall Bladder done last year, laparoscopy job. for Bht 40,000. Good or bad? I am still here!
  22. So Bht 42M divided by (51000 + 151) makes Bht 821 LOST PER PACK. I guess it really means CARTONS as opposed to packs, but the poor Government only loses the TAX & DUTY on those fags, not the total value. But it sounds good for the Police!
  23. Are there over 26 different hospitals within reach of your home, and was each one for a different ailment?
