    I apologise profusely. The 10k, from my THB balance was set up late Thursday evening and arrived 14.03 on Friday. I was getting confused with the AED transfer to Dubai which took seconds. Sorry.

    Yes, I am getting Monday quoted if I send now. Don't you know that Thai bank computers, Wndows 8, go to sleep at weekends and Bank holidays. Give them a break. 555

    Last Friday I did Bht 10k for family expenses. Arrived in seconds. Then another 35k for long stay arrived on Wedneday, 14.03pm as always.

    How many times does it need saying that if the reason for sending is Long Term Stay or Buying Property, where it MUST be shown as an International Transfer, FTT in Bkk Bank, the transfer will arrive at 14.03 the next WORKING DAY. Other wise it takes seconds, even to UAE Dubai.

    I am the one who renews the Bloo Loo blocks. Most toilet paper we get is so thin, it will biodegrade in water alone. Isn't it marvellous that a thread about BM2 missus not wanting to give him a share of her money, to biodgradeable bog paper. Rock on AN!

    We have nothing like that. Simply a round concrete cover out in the lawn, with a removable plate on the top which my Mrs gets a truck to come about a year to flush it out, stinks somewhat. Tha's it.

    However using Cloud storage, your data is available to you on any device, wherever you are. I do realise the slight security risk, but I take that for the convenience.

    Last year, I asked my Bangkok Bank for a statement of my account receiving the monthly transfers, at the end of June, after six months, stamped and signed there and then. Went again at beginning of January for July to December and got the next one, plus letter of ownership of the account. Immigration accepted them all no problem. Extension was due 7th January, so went on 3rd.

    We are not married, but together 14 years. Paid for a house to be built (Bht 3M) and a pickup in 2012, but both in her name. Where do we stand on that? They are hers by gift I guess. We have our current account as a Joint account, so when my clogs need popping, she can legally use the ATM card for what she needs. The only money which would go through Probate is the 400k in the bank for Immigration.

    I personally know of a man who owns a HMO, ex-my hotel, and he is getting over 60 per night for one person in a single room. More than I used to charge for a double, bed & breakfast.
