  1. An at immigration when arriving in Bangkok ? Will they check this ? Thanks
  2. May I ask you an extra question ? I intend to stay several months. No problem if the date of my the return flight ticket is several months after the 30 days linked to the visa exemption ?
  3. Thanks Ubon Joe. I was worried. Your knowledge is impressive. In my case it wi!ll be "FOR RETIREMENT PURPOSES - 50 YEARS OLD (NON-O)". I understand I can do it in Bangkok. I was not in Thailand when my year extension based on Non-O visa expired, so I have to do the whole process again.
  4. I read before that it was possible to get an non-o visa at Chaengwattana after entering on visa exempt. Isn't it contradictory ? https://aseannow.com/topic/1257595-failed-attempt-at-trying-to-get-a-non-o-in-bkk/?do=findComment&comment=17321162
  5. At that time, Greece no longer existed as an independant country. It was occupied by ottoman empire !
  6. Not only for the UK. She was loved in many countries, and in France.
  7. Dear Ubonjoe, Do they grant the Non-O visa the same day you apply for it or do we have to leave or passport and come back few days later ? I will be back in Bangkok at the beginning of november, then will go to french embassy on the following day to get a certified declaration of revenue, then the same or follwing day to Chaengwattana to get a Non-O visa Many thanks
  8. Thanks Ubon Joe. I was never asked TM30 when I asked for extension but my previous Non-O visa was got at thai embassy in France. Yes I will apply for a Non-O visa in Bangkok, at Chaeng Wattana then I think. For french citizens, it might be useful to know they now have to make an appointment at french embassy to get a "Déclaration de Revenus" (no appointment needed before covid-19 pandemic). Otherwise they might get this statement too late before the visa exemption expires.
  9. Hello, I will be back in Thailand on Visa exempt (I lost my year extension base on Non-O due to covid-19) then ask for a Non-O visa and later year extension as you suggested https://aseannow.com/topic/1257595-failed-attempt-at-trying-to-get-a-non-o-in-bkk/?do=findComment&comment=17321162 Will I need a TM30 too ? Thanks
  10. Only for visa on arrival and tourists visa ? About Non-O and yearly extensions ?
  11. I much prefer beaches without any vendor and not to be bothered all the time by then
  12. There is no french region named "Pinas". To my knowledge only a very small village
  13. In Thailand are fines paid on the spot ? If you pay to the policeman, how can you be sure he will not keep the money ? Is there some kind of official voucher ?
