  2. From CNN this morning, Thailand didn't even make the top 10 !

    https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/worlds-busiest-transit-lines/index.html

"Using this data, they also compiled a list of the world's most-crowded transit lines"

    1. Buenos Aires -- Urquiza Line
    2. São Paulo -- Line 11 (Coral)
    3. Buenos Aires -- Line A
    4. São Paulo -- Line 8 (Diamond)
    5. Paris -- Line 13
    6. Buenos Aires -- Line C
    7. Tokyo -- Chuo Line
    8. São Paulo -- Line 9 (Emerald)
    9. Tokyo -- Nippori-Toneri Liner

I'll disagree. I was barely using banknotes in Bangkok, apart from 7-11 and some cheaper coffee shops or at food courts.

Debit card from Kbank for everything else: supermarkets (Tesco, BigC, Villa, Tops).

Gourmet Market : QR code payment (because it's cool).

Markets like Chatuchak or food courts still take cash, although if they follow China's example, you might pay QR code there as well.

7-11 accepts AliPay and WeChat pay, but I'm not Chinese, and wasn't bothered to buy the 7-11 card to put money on it. Tue Money app was too complicated to set up and in Thai if I am not mistaken. They take credit cards over 300 or 500 baht, not sure about debit.

Every other place that is priced in the range of 200-300 baht took my debit card. I think there was 1 restaurant out of 100 that said to me they only take credit cards.

yes of course supermarkets and 7/11s but that's not necessarily what tourists use cards for. A 2 week millionaire isn't going to stock up at tesco ..Russians excluded lol

The point was Vietnam and philippines were so far out they didn't even make the the top twenty where thailand had 3 cities mentioned. You need to go back a few posts with my discussion with britmanto to see the relevance

OK - you do need to count calories on KETO if the end goal is weight reduction. That said, I would think this is not the time to start, given that she is pregnant and would not need the keto flu, nor the initial lack of energy/motivation that she will have to go through in order to achieve ketosis.

To the op - look at your caloric intake, reduce it slightly & go for a walk/increase your activity. I would think exercise of any form will aid in your weight management & mood.

Wrong!!  I have been hard core Keto (atkins) less than 20 grams of carbs per day and never ever counted calories and dropped 20kg to my target weight which I maintain. Ketosis itself will take care of overeating because the cravings just go away.

I never had keto flu or lack of energy, quite the opposite and keto flu never killed anyone. Walking will do not much for serious weight control, you need to get your heart rate way up to gain any benefits and walking doesn't cut it, you can see fat people walking every day..yep still fat!

I strongly suggest you do some research on ketosis

Of course, it is a higher risk/reward relationship, but I think even the market average tends to beat property prices.

Unless of course you were holding 10 years ago during the global financial crisis that wiped out millions of stockholders. market dropped so damn quickly that stop losses were unable to be triggered . That's liquidity for you

Not another gloom and doom topic on Thaivisa, We all know the exchange rates are not in our favour and we don't need reminding everyday that it isn't.

There is nothing we can do about the strength of the BAHT let's  move on to other more interesting topics.

Not gloom and doom for those of us who transfered wealth to thai banks many years ago. Of course the Tv financial gurus saying " never put even $1 into a thai 3rd world bank"  did not do to well.

many more years of the baht destroying most foreign currency still to come..bring it on ????
