The captain would be aware of any and all issues with the plane and as you already understand, he makes the ultimate decision on “to fly, or not to fly”. Id suspect that it may not be unusual for those seats to be the last filled ? I always decline those seats, I’m 6”2’ and wouldn’t mind the legroom but dislike the non reclining seats.

If you are correct in what you have posted then it was not a random choice that left those seats vacant, it was a conscious decision by the captain, crew and maintenance… Which would raise some VERY big questions.

Tinnitus has been my companion for 45 yrs. As a boy a dead tree branch penetrated my ear canal, perforating my ear drum and dislocating my hammer bone. The drum started healing before rupturing again (mere weeks) and I’ve had tinnitus since. At times I’m oblivious to it at others acutely aware.

As far as grammar and spelling go, another issue is people who post from tablets or mobies get autocorrect rearing its head. Many times what gets posted is not what I’ve typed.

I’m fairly sure Mrs HP tossed a little velvet pouch I had. It held a couple of “wedding rings” that Mrs HP brought for me at some markets and temples… you know the type “Velly good, almost like gold farang” Next morning the corrosion had already started… 🙄🤣 The pouch also held some bits of gold colored chain that I found whilst riding my bike in Oz, it seemed to have a bit of weight so I kept it and it also held my wedding ring from my first marriage, a fairly chunky white gold ring that cost me 800/1000 $Aud back in 1992… Grrr.
