  1. OMG ! Now we’ve gotta be careful of the batteries AND the Aircon’s !! 😱😱
  2. Gday Mick, sadly you read correctly about ubonjoe. As to your weed infestation in your ponds I know very little. Im sure there plenty of things that will kill the weeds but not harming your fish/land today or in the future is the problem as I see it. Mr Owl and his friends may know more or have you tried the farming in Thailand thread yet ?
  3. Keep on talking, keep on burning oil, keep on not giving a damn. You just keep on your path to destruction. No 1 person can change the future, about the best we can do as individuals is to cause LESS destruction in this world, whereas you just want to keep pillaging the world. We need to walk gentler on this planet.
  4. Yeah, true. The cancer went secondary, spreading into his lungs etc.
  5. So, you spot it on for a week ?
  6. You had me until the bold text. You are a greedy, self centered fool. Good luck to you making money at our grandchildren’s expense, we will be better off when you go the way of the dinosaurs of old… can you hurry up please ?
  7. Yep, 60 yrs ago the same trip with an ice vehicle was outrageous too, now all you need to do is grab a toothbrush and start driving, one day ev will be the same. Then of course we’ll have a new fuel source and some will be harking back to the golden age of evs and how nothing will ever manage to supersede them… 🤣 The more things change, the more they stay the same.
  8. My father died at 83 yrs from a melanoma on his face. My Dr wasn’t concerned by this, stating that at 83 they don’t consider it relevant to “family history” I myself had a melanoma 2 years ago at age 55. It was an unusual location as it was on the side of my foot, but we got it early and we’ll have yearly checks from now on.
  9. I doubt you need 30 mins in Oz or Thailand. There is an age where skin cancer becomes less of a concern medically (at some point, something will cause your demise…) I have no objection to getting 30 mins of sun whilst exercising early morning or late evening but cover up and avoid intense midday sun when possible.
  10. Horse 7 in race 4 at Randwick on Saturday 👍🏼
  11. But that view 💞 let’s have a whip around and put in a cable car and reopen 🤣
  12. It’s great to see you two old codgers still at, keep up the inspiration 👍🏼 😎 🤣🤣
  13. Those pesky evangelical ev drivers are at it again ! Circumnavigating Australia in an ev towing a caravan !! It'll never happen ! It’ll ruin your weekend… Excuse me whilst I wait for that noisy diesel electric train to pass… clears throat, We all know that electric cars can’t tow any sort of load… Nek minit https://thedriven.io/2024/01/06/ev-nomads-tesla-model-3-doing-lap-of-australia-towing-a-caravan/?fbclid=IwAR0vXGrj-9FhQA0pJbpZ0alD_iDtuv7Y0S0w8qkLM5ajn2CmrXLFYwbVzOM_aem_AYAyIQgw1AcrYoLB5Cak79YK-e_WKeTfK57nuEl8ReLIvZZEiRw4j3Y01iO2PMEO9F8
  14. I read all the above and while some of it seems reasonable I can’t help but think that some is written by people who have no relationships in the old country and no relationships in Thailand… Some whose idea of a relationship is P4P. My wife also thought I was fabulously rich (and hansum) but she’s learning. Her family are good solid hard working people and when I’m in country they treat me well. You need limits but you also need the family onside, I can’t imagine many Thai girls willing or able to walk away from family, good luck…
  15. I used to do a fairly reasonable job by hand but the electric is so much quicker and easier on the wrists (I found the snapping of the shears harsh)
  16. Happy days, now to make like the Texas hedgetrimmer massacre 🤣
  17. Its ok if youve previously filled in a SWMS, after all safety first
  18. Yeah, I'm a bit the same with people.
  19. Do you mean a real tractor or one of the two wheel plow/trailer pullers ?
  20. Personally wherever I bought I’d be looking for a name brand rather than a knock off/no name. Reason being that you do become locked into the ecosystem and the name brands have tools that work better and more of them.
  21. So the first vehicle into a new market had teething problems ? Being a distributor there’s zero chance your company would have sourced the cheapest vehicle they could… 🙄 I would have expected 3 months as a minimum to clear a vehicle for the Australian market, even if I they’d flown an Australian standards expert to China. But you’re right, all chinese vehicles are carpp
  22. The historical meaning part is a bit of a stretch but if you’re happy with it good on you 👍🏼
  23. Introspection would be preferable to appreciation but thank you.
